Welcome back to this week's Hiking in Colorado 14er Adventure! This is a late upload from our hike up Missouri Mountain - a 14er in the Sawatch Range. Missouri Gulch at this time of year is beautiful! On June 16th, we did the Northwest Ridge route up Missouri Mountain. The trailhead is the same one used for Belford and Oxford. This was an excellent day out with some new climbing friends!

The Northwest Ridge of 14er Missouri Mountain is a Class 2 route that begins from the Missouri Gulch Trailhead. Round trip is approximately 10.5 miles with 4,500' of elevation gain. There is considerable rockfall potential so make sure you are prepared before you go out!

After climbing my 50th fourteener in the year 2001, I fell out of shape and quit hiking. I have since retired and moved from Colorado to Texas. I always enjoy your videos, since they allow me to climb these again through you. Thanks so much and please keep posting them.

“Sawatch is home” couldn’t agree more. As much as I love the elks, San Juan’s, and Sangres, Its different for the peaks I grew up climbing, Sawatch is truly the heart of Colorado. Love it!

Some great hikes. Doing all three is a full day but worth the views. Missouri has the best views of any 14er i've climed 18 to date.
