Hey, I am using a MacBook pro 16inch M1 max. This machine is still a beast, been using it for the last couple of years. What are you using?

@@DuanVanSchalkwyk im using Gigabyte Aero OLED, RTX3080, i9. its working decent But im upgrading soon. still deciding between mac or windows. From my understanding Mac is best for video timeline perfrormance & scrubbing playhead. windows is best for fusion & complexed timelines.

@@PartyintheAM that's pretty dope. Yea i must say, haven't been too impressed with the performance of my M1Max when it comes to after effects, fusion and 3D projects, it not bad but not great either. For editing it's brilliant. If I had budget I would mind the M1 Ultra. I bet the performance on that thing is insane

DaVinci Resolve is really great but premier still beats DaVinci resolve when it comes to third party effect and title. Most times, titles doesn't work or preview without changing fonts.... Or adjusting something... For new davinci resolve user, it's time wasting and fustrating especially when you don't know what to adjust.

I agree when it comes to third-party plug ins. That was one of the unfortunate sacrifices I had to make when I switched. It has been frustrating when just trying to switch over the first time about two years ago but managed to learn a great deal since. Once you get how it all work I promise you, it will be difficult not to switch

Yeah, if a title isn't working it's 95% of the time that the original font file is missing. In DR19 they finally added an error message that says, font file missing so that helps alot.
I will say that most third party plugins can be recreated using fusion. It's incredibly powerful when you get into the nuts and bolts of it. I've been recreating after effects plugins in there for the last couple months and it's really modular and just as good most of the time. (Barring more complex motion graphics)
