  • 1. Create a surface (bounds)
    2. Mark one edge (trim with a small polyline)
    3. Create UV curves (left mouse button LMB)
    4. Create a text and orient it accordingly
5 Apply UV curves to the surface(right mouse button RMB)
    6. Extrude, trim the projected text

Thanks for your illustration. But, its easy to lay in a sound track using UA-cam Studio Tools. Please add sound and verbalize each icon and step along the way, it would be so helpful to so many!

Hello. Great tutorial. When I run the Sweep2 command, several surfaces are created. When I use the command to create the UV curve only a piece of the area is selected which prevents me from positioning the text correctly. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Rhino 7. Thanks.

Will the same method work for a 2D drawing drawn in AutoCAD? Import drawing and then map drawing onto curved surface?

How about a FLAT surface? Hpw about SPECIFYING the properties of the surface needed, since it seems impossible to get a surface this actually works on. Rhino is a bloated mess.
