I'm a makeup lover and have many foundations in my collection including Chanel, Nars etc. funny thing? I've had trouble with my high end foundations patching, moving around and creasing because my skin is so oily...the foundation that works the BEST for me every time is my $8 Wet n Wild foundation. It's hard to believe but it's true..every time I use the Wet n Wild (with the Too Faced Primed and Poreless primer as a base), my skin and makeup look seamless all day.
Just proves high price tag doesn't mean good quality!
@jemstar7592 - a tip I learned recently is 2 apply a layer of setting powder BEFORE foundation or use an oil blotting paper & remove the excess oils from your skincare then apply your makeup as usual. Even though I'm more combo skin, this trick worked WONDERS on me. With nothing on my face I'm a DESERT DRY skin type, then when I use my moisturizer I become EXTREMELY oily. I could NEVER get the right combo of skincare + foundation that would give me a natural but matte base. I have recently discovered the PERFECT "recipe" for my skin type. I will use either the Ponds Dry Skin Cream or my new Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Rich Barrier Moisturizer, then use the oil blotting papers, I then use the Hard Candy Sheer Envy Matte Serum Primer & I go N w/my foundation which currently is the Revlon Illuminance. When that dries most of the way, I dust my face w/the ELF HD powder. When I use this combo, I DO have shine breakthrough but it's SO MINIMAL I do NOT touch up whatsoever. I HAVE TO touch up around the 4 hour mark if I have it on that long though. This is the FIRST combo I've ever used where I didn't have 2 CONSTANTLY touch up during the day. I learned that tip when I was recently watching the Charlotte Tilbury YT channel. It wasn't CT that was doing the tutorial, it was another lady but I can't remember her name. Let me know if that tip helps U.
I too have oily skin and love wet n wild foundation! I used high end for years and it became more problematic as I aged. High prices in my mind is more about paying for the name vs best product!

I’m an oily girly and I absolutely love the look of this foundation and how it wears. I went into Ulta to look at the shades first and then ordered online
53 and after chemo even this is the best foundation ive tried since the wet and wild skin tint ! This one has the nore coverage I need sometimes and I'm so excited I bought it❤

Texture of this foundation reminds me of the Nyx blur foundation and the Tarte Amazonian clay foundation. I liked it when I tried it but wasn’t blown away. It looked kind of cakey. But it’s nice for people who want a smooth matte look.

I've tried over 30 different foundations, skin tints and serum foundations, and this is hands sownnthe best I've ever tried! Ghe shades are quite dark so go two shades lighter than normal.
Can you please review the new Bare Minerals foundation the one with the serum.I just purchased it and I would love to know your thoughts as well.

I heard so much that I caved & ordered. It was ok. Didn't outperform any of my current favs, so it went back. I hate having to order online & try to shade match, but none of my Ulta stores carry it in-store any longer.

@saharvarona I only have one high end & that's Danessa Myricks Yummy Serum Skin Tint. My other three HGs are Purito BB cream, Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Hydrating Foundation & most recently, L'oreal True Match Super Blendable Foundation.
I was hesitant at first about this foundation but after I found out it’s a water-based I just use water-based products and I love it! 😍
I agree with some of the other commenters asking about a blurring filter. I turned up the video quality and zoomed in, and it really does look like your skin texture significantly changes between frames. I’ve really loved your channel and content so this is very disappointing if true!
Could you please post a makeup tutorial from Milanis latest post on their goth themed makeup for fall? The girl with the silver eyes in particular! It is the MOST stunning makeup look ever!!!
Loved it on you and on me. I had to do my makeup in like 5-10 minutes last time which is the fastest ever to do a no makeup look or any makeup for that matter. It came out better than I imagined w/that speed.

My two very favorite foundations right now are Suqqu The Cream Foundation & Rituel de Fille. They're buildable, and they make my 60+ year old skin look so pretty. I think they'd be beautiful on you, too. Have you ever tried these?

Hi @BeeChicanery! You can Google Rituel de Fille Weightless Serum Foundation and buy direct from them or at places like Saks, I think? As for Suqqu The Cream Foundation, I think I got mine from Cult Beauty or Selfridges. I'll warn you, though, that Suqqu’s packaging is awful. It's a liquid in a jar, so it can be a bit messy. For me It's worth it, though. I just do my regular morning skin prep, which includes sunseeen and moisturizer, and that's it. I always apply foundation while my skin is still moist. I hope you find these and enjoy!

The Hourglass is utterly gorgeous if you like natural skin. It's £50 which feels like a lot of money for the amount you get, so I'm sort of scared to use it every day. When I do, Oh my goodness, I get compliments, it's honestly the best I've ever tried and trust me when I say, I have tried many :-) HAven't tried this REM one Allie is demoing, but I think I'll give it a miss.

I want to love this foundation so bad, but I’ve been using it for the last week and having all kinds of issues. I literally had to wipe it off at work today because it looked so patchy and horrible. I’ve tried different bases and different application techniques and just cannot get a great result :(
Today was the worst day by far, I think it might have been my base. But overall I just feel like it’s not reliable enough for me-it does weird things!

Your blurring filter is really obvious in this video, and something I didn't notice you use before. It has turned me off to any future videos. I'm really sad to see it - there's no need, and it's really disingenuous.
Curious, are you referring to the refocusing that's happening when she moves the mirror in and out of the frame as a filter?
@@anain235 no, you can clearly see skin texture change in areas as she turns her head. I did notice the refocus as well but this is different.
I am sure she has said before that she does not use a filter. So if you don’t believe in her video, maybe you should look at someone else’s video that apparently does not use a filter.
