I used Bare Minerals Matte Foundation for years, but once my maturing skin started showing more texture I had to switch because that makeup just amplified everything and aged me that much more. I think many of us just feel comfortable with what's neutral, natural and familiar and once we find what works for us, we stick with it until it stops working. It can be expensively disappointing to try new things only to have them not work well for our skin, especially with things like foundation.
Have you tried Makeup Forever powder foundation by any chance? It’s pricey but I’ll never go back. It’s absolutely magical and feels like nothing on the skin but has full buildable coverage and doesn’t emphasize texture. I have never gotten more compliments on my skin since I started wearing it
LOVE the UB naked pallet. Used it for years. It’s easy Evryday easy. Most of the readers choice are easy and make you beautiful effortlessly and no artist skills needed.

By 2.5 to 3 weeks, I'm ready to change them out, but they're so affordable in comparison to going to a salon. They don't ruin my natural nails, and I just carry a little nail glue in my purse in case of emergency. I swear by them. The key to longwear is the application. Watch a few videos.

Please try this hack for applying foundation. 1- on clean skin, moisturize and theSPF 2- With a brush, lightly add on a translation loose powder. 3- Spray on your setting spray and let it set and dry up. 4- Now apply our foundation. It stays put, so smooth and it gives me a super beautiful natural face!

The naked3 palette is such a gorgeous color story but I really feel like it’s where urban decay stopped trying with their naked palettes. There’s only 3 mattes and it’s only for fair to light skin tones. There’s also tons of fallout. The quality from naked 2 to 3 is quite shocking. I have had mine for years but hardly ever reach for it
May be unpopular opinion but I’ve never really liked the Naked pallet. I got it and tried to love it but just did not like it. Also bareminerals is still my go to foundation too. Love it so much still after so many years 😊

If you're having migraines postpartum and have been checked/MRId by a doc, HIGHLY recommend you see a chiro and have your T4 checked/adjusted. I was 3mths postpartum when I started having severe hemiplegic migraines, and I would be a lot worse off for frequency without my regular adjustments.

Girl I get migraines as well so I feel for you. Just remember to take care of yourself when you need to. So I am mostly a drugstore girl but ever now and then I will try something high end. For a while I have been on a hunt for my Goldilocks foundation and concealer. I have found some good ones but nothing that knocked me out of the park...until... I tried the NARS concealer. Now I am in love. I know you always loved the NARS foundation so I may have to break down and try it. Maybe I'll try the Fenty one. I live in southern Alabama so it gets very hot and humid in the summer. I like to wear powder foundation and I have some of the Bare Minerals foundation and really like it.

The Kiss nails were great for last minute option. I grabbed them for a wedding, they looked like I got my nails done and easy to take off. They definitely are the longest lasting though, but that might be the glue

I used the Naked 3 palette for my wedding makeup nearly 4 years ago. I didn’t know much about makeup at that time, I didn’t watch beauty UA-cam or anything then and I saved up my money to buy some ‘good’ products. I’d heard of Urban Decay Naked palettes…we don’t have Sephora in the uk but some of the big British department stores had more luxury and high end makeup and I’d seen the Naked palletes stacked up at Christmas time when they did their new releases and lusted after them over the years, thinking they must be great. I used the Fenty foundation too…I think I must have read an article about it or something to pick that one, but I got the hydrating version of the faux filter ,one but I bought it in a shade that was way too light (I often am a lighter/fairer shade but didn’t realise just how light the fenty shades went). It didn’t look too bad in the photos, but we were in Iceland in January so I guess next to the snow and ice I maybe didn’t appear so pale! I don’t think I owned any bronzer or highlighter but I did wear blush. I think i wore a blush palette my now mother in law gave me for my birthday and a red lipstick a friend bought me (my wedding day was on my birthday). If I was getting married now I’d probably use a Natasha Denona palette, an hourglass face palette but Im not sure what foundation as a few of my faves have been discontinued and my skin has aged a bit since then I do have fond memories of my naked 3 palette (I still have it) and there is some nice shades in there but there are definitely better formulas of eye shadow around these days.

I paid $4 at the Concept store, but I think it retails for $16? It is the best sponge I have ever used. I will never go back to BB or drugstore. It does everything and does it all beautifully. I cannot do press-on nails-it must be that my nail shape just doesn’t align with them, they’re uncomfortable. However, I’ve been loving semi-cured gel stickers! I’ve been using Nailog brand, and so far they’re fantastic. The last set stayed on for a full two weeks, which is absolutely unheard of for my nails. Even professional gel nails chip earlier than that on me.
I liked the Offset gel cleanser a lot… the serum and moisturizer felt SUPER nice, but they kinda irritated my dermatitis. I’m not sure which one was the culprit! The cleanser is amazing though and I’d recommend it. It foams up a bit without drying my sensitive skin (I usually don’t even use foaming cleansers)

Love the Nars creamy radiant concealer but they don’t have a good shade for my light cool/neutral undertone. Have to mix and that can get expensive. Currently using sigma duo corrector in shade light set with a little CT flawless powder but would love to find a concealer close to that color. Would be more emollient.
It was funny to hear you say naked 3 was beginner friendly, because it was gifted to me as one of my very first palettes and I could NOT make it look good. Thought it was just because I was bad at eyeshadow, but now that I'm good (partly in thanks to your videos!) I know that the colors just do not work on my skin tone and eye shape. I just look exhausted no matter what 😭 however, I really enjoy the naked honey palette -- I think the formula is a little softer and the colors work way better for me (: I also love the nyx eyeliner!! Just got it and agree it's so easy to wing & be precise & it doesn't budge!!!

I threw mine away. I bought it two years ago, and was not happy with how different it looked in pictures than in person.

I was a Bare Mineral gal for decades, but menopause hit along with dry skin. So I'm wearing moisturizing primer with Misha BB foundation these days.
I still use my naked 3 palette and enjoy the naked 2 mini palette i also enjoy the naked heat palette i like the formula in those palettes havent had any trouble with them
