i wish a lot more young adults like Tim would be inquisitive and ask about what's going on.. most would just stand there and not ask any questions about what's happening.. Thanks for sharing guys have a great day....
I've got my old Ford 4000 split for a new clutch , and I just love to watch you videos while on a coffee break thanks so much for your hard work in putting these workshop videos out.
hey....no picking on Tim.lol he's a good fella.most young men that age would be out getting in trouble.im proud of Tim.hes learning a trade an not getting into trouble.your a good fella Tim.keep up the great work bud.🙏🙏💪💪💯💯
Great to hear you joking with your lads an them to take it in good humor, really great to hear a young man say that he'd read the manual. Not many have patience to read nowadays, that's why they loose out learning about things. Great work all and keep it up. Thanks.
Thanks for the update, It's real good to hear Tim asking questions about mechanical things he don't understand, he'll be the next wrench turner like you. I used to find on some farms the younger kids would come and start watching and asking questions on some stuff I was fixing. The mothers would come and try dragging them off for bugging me. I just used to say if he's interested and not asking stupid questions leave him watch. Old mechanics die, we need the younger guys to be interested and be the next generation of Mechanics. The same happened years ago with construction operators, the old guys smoked themselves to death, or retired. I was told when I wanted that job 2 years experience or family connections/ who you knew, was how I was getting into it . Yeah then reality hit the guys. we turn these kids away now we're f'ed as very few guys are coming up behind. Before they figured it out I just went and got my own machine and work until the other guys got mad and cut me out by dropping prices so i couldn't compete,It kinda sucked then. But If I'd of stayed there in the U.K doing that I wouldn't be in Canada now, so better opportunity's came out of it.
Wes I started watching your videos when you. brought home a 2 cylinder JD. I've been hooked ever since. You remind me of a friend i farmed for. To hell with the haters. No one does everything the same or have the same ideas. Keep up the great. Videos with the family when possible. Martin Benton
There is probably no way John Deere would show is kinda work on there equipment without you paying big $. Thanks for the cool videos. It is nice to see you take time for Tim to show him what you know.
Hey Wes, when you have shims that wont stay in place like that, a tiny dab of thin superglue is all you need. Not going to hurt anything, but will make life easier.
Yep Just been waiting on this video. Don't feel bad it took me a while too. Also figured you would like to know flat rate time on a 15 speed rebuild is 80 hrs. That includes rebuilding the 8 speed pack.
tom7601 I was going to post that same question. Thank you Tom. I had seen a video of Wes playing and thought he should do his own music also Martin Benton
Just a wild guess. But no. I've heard Wes play in another youtube vid. Not saying he's bad. Just not this good. Also Mike Less has used this same recording in one of his videos.
Wes, that comment you quoted about bleeding body parts, is from this hilarious movie/short by Don Hertzfeldt, called "Rejected" ua-cam.com/video/3yH4h73RDeE/v-deo.html at about 5:37
I love how you take the time to talk with your son and explain how things work. Keep up the great work.
I enjoy watching Tim. He is a nice young man and reminds me of my son.

I appreciate the father/son interaction. There needs to be a lot more of that. Good videos, really look forward to see what you put up.
