2007 Tahoe LT here still running great!!!original 5.3 engine I did have the tranny rebuilt went out 2 years ago but 14 yr old transmission previously can’t complain!!!
2013 Tahoe here, 268k rented a uhaul car trailer, drove 150 miles picked up a 94 3000gt and drove 150 miles back and this Tahoe is a beast! No problems at all.
You can't beat it!! They are great SUVs that generation of Tahoe and Yukon. Original motor and transmission and still going strong. The build looks absolutely amazing and love the lift and powder coating 🍻
Try the wheel speed sensors first it’s cheap and easy. If that don’t fix it tune it out. I had my stabilitrac tuned out completely with hp tuners. Fixed the hard shift issue I had when the abs and traction light would come on. Tune woke it up tremendously and helped with future mods like rear o2 sensor delete and others along with tranny shift points rev limiter and all that. Mines hitting over 350,000 now with the 8” on 24x14 and 35/15.50s
Absolutely agree, bought a nice 2011 Silverado Lt almost a year ago, only had 97k miles on it, put a leveling kit and some 33’s with some true dual catbacks and it’s perfect, the interior is absolutely FLAWLESS, especially considering it’s a 12 year old truck, minor surface rust on the frame but that’s nothing, was an absolute steal of a deal and I absolutely love this generation, super underrated imo
does your truck ride i guess you would say pretty stiff? i’ve got a 2011 crew cab and i had a yukon before. mine rides great but any imperfections in the road feel like a brick. curious if mines the only one
@@blaine5522 nah man, honestly one of the best driving and riding vehicles I’ve ever owned, even after putting some trail grapplers on it, still drives amazing, barely and steering wheel adjustment needed while driving and rides smooth as hell
I have an 97 z71 170 miles black interior, changed headlights and jockey box leveling kit 32 inch tires new rough country suspension. I like the size and height.
I've had a 02 and currently have a 07 Tahoe love both trucks. I will say this both generations have there pros and cons as far as which dose what better in different areas. Of power comfort etc but at the end of the day i would still recommend either or to anybody
Got a 2009 Chevy Silverado with 260k! Same power train as your Tahoe and original everything. Only light on dash is tpms and airbag been a great truck!
Cool video! Just got a 2018 Yukon Denali and am inheriting a 2002 Yukon with 194,00 on it. To help with the ⛽️ I’ve started putting all my gas cans in the plastic boats you get from Sam’s or Costco that your paper towels or toilet paper comes in. Since doing that I don’t smell the gas AT ALL! I even started leaving them in the bags inside the garage and now my garage no longer smells like gas all the time! Hope that helps! 😎😇👌🏾 P.S. Same with my trimmers I put the engine and heads in the bags and cleanup afterward is now nonexistent!
Try on top of the frame by the top of rear shocks on both sides. There is a sensor there that comes loose when changing shocks. (Due to tight fit and blind spot) click back together and stabilitrac/traction should be gone. Good luck.
Still driving my 2013 Tahoe with 196k miles. I’m thinking I might get a small loan and just fix it up a little with a new used engine and trans. Love my little suv.
I kinda had a gmt800 Tahoe before I had my license did a lot of my driving hours in it but got rid of it like 6 months before I got my license and I didn’t mind it I really didn’t like the body roll and that was about it but the truck I have now is definitely better
The way you’re describing it sounds just like my 09 impala SS.i literally have to wait 5-10 mins after I start the car otherwise it will drive crazy and real funky
Should re-gear when adding much bigger tires. I’m putting 37s on my Yukon. My GMT800 Suburban will only get the same size that comes on new 4x4 Superduty(285/75) 33” tires.
My Silverado has both of those lights on too with the same notifications when you turn on the key. When I got it fixed a little over four years ago, I found out it was my ABS control module. It just came back on last month and the only reason I haven’t fixed it is because it seems to require a diagnostic tool to recalibrate/bleed the system from my research so you’re probably gonna have to take it to a shop. Hope this helps✌️
!!! Have you pulled the abs/speed sensors out? There's two in the rear! You might having metal shavings on it bc it's magnetic. Just wipe them off and codes should clear after a few miles!!
Until am/fm malfunctions and your lifters turn sideways and bend your cam. I just had to dod delete and completely rebuild my top end on mine i am at 220k as well.
I have a 2012 sierra with 195 on it and I have the same traction control and stabilitrack issue, I’m pretty sure it’s just the steering wheel position sensor
have u tried changing the abs wheel speed sensors i had a 2010 cadillac and i changed then out and it was fixed it can be the issue not to expensive so i would say give it a try
Man off subject question from vehicles, are you a church goer? I seen you said “full church crowd” just wondering. Would be cool to know what you stand for. God is good all the time brother and you are very blessed my friend.
Main differences I notice between this and my 07 Yukon Xl Denali are: Automatic air ride suspension Heated windshield wipers Control switches for the folding rear seats are right next to the sunroof switches Memory seats for passenger and driver Cracked to hell dashboard 🤣
Dude I fell in love with my 2010 Tahoe 210xxx miles and everything in the interior is pristine in and out still looking for my second mod just did my exhaust got an lt so it's got the AWD also but no low don't know which way to go I love the rugged look and sporty look don't know what to do to it may get the Escalade light any suggestions anyone ?😅
What’s really impressive is the amazing condition of those seats. I’ve worn out GM “leather” after 75k, granted I’m missing a right leg a tend to slide into the seat rather than plop. I’m down to the foam on my 2012 rn, 180k 😔 your wife must weigh nothing and glide over them mfers. Looking good for the high mileage man, even the engine bay.
Chase I'll be honest man, I Love It, Not a fan of lifting and squatting or Color Matching or Debadging. But I Don't Judge. I honestly Prefer Keeping All Of My Vehicles Stock but that's just me. Love Your Videos and I Think you're a Cool Guy, Would Like To Get To meet you in person someday. Also I have a 2001 Ford F150 xlt supercrew 4.6 Almost the same color as Larry 335k miles on it all original. Would like to put in some LED Headlight Bulbs and was Wondering The Exact Brand Bulbs you have in Larry and are they pop in pop out or do you have to do any adjustments to the Bulbs Themselves thanks.
End of the day, it was only a *minority* of trucks with issues. The majority of these GMT900’s are typical American small block mileage champs, there’s just so many of them that the affected group is sizeable.
My 2011 Sierra drives like new at 121k (minor front suspension maintenance), but the slushy transmission is annoying in stop & go and the 5.3 is no faster than my 1998 F150 w the 2V 5.4 triton.
Proud owner of a 2007 Tahoe with the original 5.3 that has not been DOD deleted yet, new trans @ 223,000 miles. I absolutely love my Tahoe.

I have a 2007 tahoe and it’s lifted and I absolutely love it, drives amazing and aside from a small oil leak I have had absolutely zero issues
Rear main seal ?
Yup

I have a 5.3 suburban dropped on 26s and daily it and love it. I’ll never get another suv
Thank you this is very helpful..... . I had mine for about a month and a week now and I love it the wife is very very happy.....👻
I have a 2011 Tahoe. The stabilitrack/Traction control didn’t go away until I put a new engine and transmission in it.
Love the videos. Earl was my favorite. Baby squat is a really close second💯
I love my 2012 z71 Tahoe lt all black

I got one same as your lifted too with 313,000 miles best vehicle i ever owned.
I had a Yukon and loved that truck. Rode nice and very comfortable, good power and only downside was no bed to put stuff.
You can get the factory leather seat skins for driver's seat and also for center console and it will be like new again.
Got a 2009 Chevy Silverado with 260k! Same power train as your Tahoe and original everything. Only light on dash is tpms and airbag been a great truck!

I got a fully loaded '11 tahoe ltz with all of the issues you have except the door problem. 217k miles
Steering wheel position sensor is probably bad. Test it by starting it up and turn the wheel without moving.
Ol wilsonville I thought I recognized the scenery
Until am/fm malfunctions and your lifters turn sideways and bend your cam. I just had to dod delete and completely rebuild my top end on mine i am at 220k as well.
One of the best looking tahoes on UA-cam 🙌👍
Nobody has ever overlooked that gen of tahoes dude. I recommended a tahoe a long time ago, dont know why you wouldnt like them... they are amazing

I wouldn't mind a Tahoe.
Keep up the good work👍.
i have the 2012... I love it and it is in great shape at 170k. did you change the gears and if so what did you put in? 4.56 or 4.88's?
The main bad of the 07 to 13 is the recession and auto maker buy out that happened in 08
The only complaint I have with the suburban and Tahoe are the gears and seats! Love our suburban though!
Love gmt900 fav gen of tahoe
Is the stability control because of the lift? No more auto ride? Mine did that after the lift.
You get better mpg compared to my 98 ford Explorer I get 12 and it’s stock everything besides exhaust

what’s the lift set up? how’d you get it leaning?
I always wanted a Suburban but always had a pickup
Might be crankshaft position sensor.
What exhaust do you have?
I'm going to go look at one tom😮
What the wheel specs
how did this tahoe make it to 220k with the active fuel management sys?

@@judeaucoin5028 Those 2V 5.4s are the ONLY reliable 5.4s actually made. The 4.6L V8 is slightly more reliable, but not by much.
What wheels are those
Do a Avalanche build.
Cat eye front end not the plastic one.
Put some chrome Cadillac roof racks on it
200k+ miles is still a baby for chevy
None of these trucks have cooled seats im pretty sure. I have an ltz and it only has heated seats
The Yukon( Denali) and Escalade ( all trims ) has it. I seen this Tahoe with vent seats but it’s rare just like the Tahoe coming with a 6.2
I have a driver side seat bottom I can give you I sold my Tahoe so it’s just laying around, I think I’m somewhat local to you
I love my 08 Denali Sierra
It’s the AFM lifters that people don’t like that’s why I personally have never owned one.
When’s big Betty getting wheel lights 🤷♂️
24x12 or 22x12 on ole Betty?
Get a 2005 6.0 powerstroke turbo
Looks like LTZ trim
Can I buy it
New exhaust
With the new bed sizes of the newer and new trucks they are just a glorified SUV! Lol Shit my daily is a ranger has a 7ft bed.
Why she go from that to daily driving a Kia k5
It needs floorboards or steps.
u should get a 15-20 yukon for urself
Let see Chomper
The afm is why people don’t like them on top the 4l60
The system needs good maintenance and most people either overextend the oil changes or abuse them, which is what causes issues with the lifters.

All that gas shouldn't be in the passenger compartment.
