    I am waiting for logitech z906 upgraded model with hdmi passthrough and atmos height channels.
    If this type of system comes within 30K even normal person will be able to enjoy atmos.
    There is nothing less than 70k in market which can give decent home theater experience except logitech Z906 THX at 20Kish but is a 10 year old design without hdmi and bluetooth.

    Another master video. Thank you so much. I have Marantz SR5015 bought from Touchwood Automations. I will definitely think about Power Amplifier. It will be either Emotiva OR NAD as you have suggested in this video. I have Polk Audio RTiA7 connected to Marantz SR5015. Please suggest which Emotiva OR NAD I should think of.

    Tanmay G, can we use our old high power AVR as an amplifier with our new AVR, for example I have a Yamaha Aventage series old AVR with a power output of 140W @8ohms(2channel driven) and I bought a new marantz cinema 70 which is 50W per channel.
    So can I connect the Aventage as a power amplifier for Cinema 70?? If yes, how to connect??

    • @TanmayMehta
      @TanmayMehta  3 місяці тому +1

      It’s possible, but not really recommended! You can take the pre out of Marantz and connect it to Line Input of Yamaha Aventage!

    Preprocessor and power amp is the more advanced setup than a av receiver setup.
    Those have the budget can go for this setup initially itself. If calibrated correctly this setup can beat the theatre hands down.
    Marantz preprocessor and power amp combo may be 5-6lac.
    This is a more sophisticated setup.

    Very good explanation
    But could you please tell us about wether adding power amplifiers with existing system or new system will make any sound signature difference because the each manufacturer have different type of power supply using their amplifiers how it's going to effect on sound signature and dynamic range of the system especially in speakers

    • @TanmayMehta

      Absolutely 💯 Power amp will certainly bring out the best from your system. It’s not mandatory! If you’re enjoying the current system as is, you may let it go. Check for experiences in the other comments of this video!

    Even though when standing alone, my arcam avr20 sounded fabulous, it was only when I added a matching Poweramp that I was able to hear the snap of the snare drums. However, what got me really excited was how much more control I now have at lesser volumes.

      Apologise for the late reply (UA-cam restrictions!).
      The fact I was using Arcam's matching four Channel Poweramp for my Atmos channels (PA410) gave me the opportunity to put it through its paces for my two channel stere listening! I was so impressed with the results that I ended up keeping it where it was at and ended up buying another one for my Atmos duties. I'm not a content creator, but I did post a sound test video.
