Great Video as always... I am using JBL 5.1 and I can say that it's a great sound system with the exception of underpowered vocals. Along with the fact that all the L R & C being together, all having same RMS is also a reason for the underwhelming vocals. Wish they could keep higher RMS for the center channel. Still, JBL 5.1 is the best Sound system for users like me who don't want the wires.

Hello Sir. With Optical Audio output you will not get Atmos signal. Also, 30k is difficult price range to get any Atmos sound system. Recommend you to stick to 5.1 Dolby Digital and buy something like Yamaha YHT-1840

Hey Kannan, Yamaha YHT-3072 is impressive too. Not discontinued (Stock issues). Service can be an issue based on geography but all the brands lie in the same boat for that.

Hi Tanmay Sir, I am planning a budget media room with Optoma HD30 HDR projector, my budget allows to use Yamaha YHT 3072 home theatre system along with it. As you said that this would be primarily used with TV. How would it is performance be when used along with the projector in a media room of size 16*16 ? I am gonna be using few acoustic panels and basic bass traps in the room.
Hey Optoma HD30HDR is a decent projector. And YHT 3072 can be paired with the same. But if you can stretch your budget, you can also evaluate, Polk TL-1600 or Sonodyne Micro HTS with entry level Denon AV Receivers!

HT prices have increased significantly in the last 1 year, e.g. JBL 5.1 no more sells under 50k. Please make a new video for under 50k, under 75k, and under lakh.
I tried Sony S500, Polk magnifi max, and JBL 5.1. Sony sounded very amateurish, Polk with surround speakers was very good, but base was not punchy like JBL signature, has balanced notes. Wanted to check Yamaha but could not find any showroom in Pune who can provide a demo.
Which HT would you recommend with punchy bass close to JBL but without fatigue, and vocals too are good? JBL 5.1 is very good, but attached speakers have battery issues, don't want to spend 5k on it on yearly basis.
My living room is 18x12 with 10x8 dining attached in L shape.

Mere liye 2.1, 3.1, ya 5.1 including amp/receiver kuch bhi chalega par audio top class honi chahiye, mere paas "Sennheiser ka HD205" headphones hai, uske baad main aajtak kuch purchase nahi kar paya, kyuki audio quality wise iska improvement/peer mila nahi, please help me.

Hey Ajay,
Active Woofer has an in-built amplification and takes only signal from woofer! Whereas a Passive Woofer relies on the AVR or a different amplifier for Producing bass!
Actives are more preferred in case you are using an AV Receiver.

To be honest. Home & car audio equipment is inefficient.
Professional audio what you call as PA, is far efficient. Even it terms of bass. For satelites I will go with home theatre. But for bass, I advise to go for pa subs. Eg: 4x Bose F1, 1x Danley th812, etc

But Yamaha 3072 doesn't support Dolby Atmos whereas in pioneer htp-076 support Dolby Atmos + you have option in pioneer to connect active subwoofer

Hey Viral, YHT-3072 does not support Dolby Vision and you won't be able to enjoy the same on TV. But you can surely connect it to AVR to avoid the red screen on TV as the AVR will process the video first.

Connected my mitv with my Yamaha AV receeiver through hdmi"arc". But while I'm playing any 5.1 or surround sound content on Amazon prime or hotstar in TV only.it's delivers only stereo output.
With the help of receiver I can get 5.1 sound but not pure real Dolby or surround sound.

I use JBL 9.1 I feel it has good sound compared to JBL 5.1 . Vocals also feels good in JBL 9.1 unless we sit too far from main bar and place rear speakers close.

@@loga5492 go for Denon X1600H av reciever which had 7.2 channel output and has Dolby atmos with latest eARC . For 5 channel system go for TAGA harmony 506 speaker setup. Plus taga tsw 90 subwoofer 10". For atmos u can use any lightweight elevatii speakers with impedance above 6 ohms and 40 watts, ceiling speakers with same specs. Or you can opt for upward firing speakers, but might add up additional 12 k to the budget. I would suggest keep budget of 1 lakh to get the best out of it. You have to spend some good amount like 48 k on Av reciever and rest on speakers

I have yamaha 3073 av receiver. Iam looking for 5.0 system at around 50k.

For 5.0, I think Klipsch Reference Pack or Focal Sib Evo will be a good option :)
