    You shared that info well 👍 ...I was curious about the ebook...hold on to your copy bc it's going to be considered the first informal version of the 2nd edition...sure would like that copy myself even though I'm getting the 2nd edition asap!! These ladies are quite inventive. They're making their mark in American natural hair history. Seems like they see our or curly tightly hair as their canvass. They are definitely on a mission. And as their destiny moves them from over the chair to Chairwomen over the entire operation world- wide. They're going to need ambassadors to keep the legacy going. Why not though? There was room for sassoon, Paul mitchell, redkin, Mary kay, Liz arden, etc...there is room for the AA's....I'm just so grateful to be able to watch 2 living legends! I mean they were born for this! I knew it when I saw the first vid...you too are meant to work in this manner...you brought that!!!
    I've already taken up a lot of your page but I'm excited about history playing out in my real time...that's incredible...I'm keeping my eyes 👀 on all of you stylist who love love love doing hair...this is your turn at greatness!!!!

      I don’t know if they’re rude but I think what it is is they set very clear boundaries that they are not telling people how to take care of their hair over the Internet. Their logic is I don’t know you , I’ve never seen your hair they don’t know what condition it is in . I think as professionals they just they just said we’re not going to do that, you need to either go to somebody that we recommend or come see us . Because they feel like their technique is worth it and that you should pay them

    Thanks for the video! It was super informative. I know I’m one of your comments you mentioned using wetline as a topper gel instead of ICH for your wng in the video. What are all the products then that you used together? Was it only UFD and wetline for this wng in the video? I’m trying to find new product combos because at the moment, I use UFD, ICH, and mousse def and my hair only lasts about 4 days maybe🤦🏽‍♀️ However, I recently used ORS hair paint wax and since it’s a stronger holding product, my hair still looked great at 7 days and honestly could’ve been longer but I just deceived to wash my hair anyway. So in that case, I want to find a better holding gel and/or a topping foam as well for my wng. Thanks!

    • @Simplylockd
      @Simplylockd  3 роки тому +4

      Hey! 🙂 I used As I Am original leave in, CM, and then the Wetline. It was cute but I do feel your hydration factor is better just using CM & ICH. I’m currently back using that because I saw a change in my hair with using the plastic gel. If your style is only giving you 4 days it’s because of 1) your technique 2) how you preserve it at night, or 3) your hydration level. I’d suggest keep using CM, ICH & mousse def. If it needs redoing at day 4; Redo it. Eventually it’ll start lasting the 7-10 days 🙂

Wetline isn’t quality but if you’ve used quality cleansing, conditioning, and base gel or leave in; then Wetline won’t hurt. With the understanding that occasional clarifying will be needed.

      The See Some Curls digital library didn’t make it that clear why toppers are needed until they added an old live video from the now closed digital salon. They have since removed that video. So joining is not going to explain very well.
      A topper is an additional gel used to help against environmental factors that can cause issues like frizz. You typically are looking for a gel topper that is an anti humectant. The base gel (usually botanical) are filled with humectants that can pull moisture from the air or allow dry environments to take moisture from your hair. So essentially it is a gel the provides a shield from the elements and allows you to wear a wash and go for 7 to 10 days.
      I hope this wasn’t too confusing. I initially thought a topper would give shine or provide additional softness. 😆 They don’t do anything like that. They are not finishing products which the A’s don’t even recommend.

    Hello I am wondering what are your thoughts on Innersense I Create Volume. Have you used it as a topper over UFD CM? Have you tried it with your clients? I am curious as I find that ICH over UFD makes my hair too stiff and hard (feeling of my hair) and too flat for too long for my liking. I wash every 4 to 5 days regardless of my styling outcome because my scalp itches bad after that length of time. I am considering trying ICV. I am going to a CIK stylist in a few weeks and will ask them after they have had time to see my hair, feel it and have a more in depth consultation but wanted to know your opinion. My former CIK stylist ( I moved out of their area) recommended me to use UFD + Design Essentials mousse because I preferred volume over flat hair and to defend against humidity where I used to live.
