Ken Barlow was amazing impression, but Debras Pat from east Enders was beyond amazing and utterly inspired with every twitch and flick. I’ve watched this many times and now laugh when eastenders is on as I think Debras impression. Debra is amazingly beautiful. Both cute and foxy at the same time, a very rare combination. I love her.
It makes sense for some these tho. Her saying "I'm Nancy delalio" is kinda part of the joke. With the "I'm Fiona Bruce" one, she's playing a news reader, they always announce who they are
It's a good thing Culshaw does. You wouldn't know otherwise. Culshaw just sounds like Culshaw. Even his make up doesn't do it. I'd never have guessed Schofield for starters.
@@Anonymous-or4ru think he works much better on radio when you can't see him. his bojo in this lockdown series of dead ringers is pretty good, but maybe it's easier to think kinder of him when there's a bigger team helping getting laughs in and it's not just him and Stephenson
The woman playing the make up artist in the Paul O'Grady sketch was a regular in Channel 4's Star Stories (she played Scary Spice, Naomi Campbell and loads of other characters). Fuckin' beautiful as well as a very talented actor*. PS, Debra Stephenson as the female co-host of the One Show in a tight blue mini-dress - hubba hubba!!!! *Rosalyn Wright.
This show is a good example of what can happen to a style of comedy when the characters are considered more important than the scripts. It's not a new problem. Impressions never need to be bang on, they just need to capture elements of the subjects, in order for an audience to recognise them, then heighten those elements. Then you can go in a number of directions, including putting the character in an incongruous 'fish out of water' situation, or pair them with another, unlikely character. The potential pitfalls, in terms of actual quality, are significant. Picking out a bunch of characters for stars and/or an ensemble to perform and then writing to fit almost always leads to sloppy material. And if the material is bad, the only saving grace, if there is one, is that the characterizations are _so_ good that they can make a terrible sketch slightly less terrible. With that in mind, when you strap yourself for a few mins just to see what it's like, there are a few red flags you don't want to see waved. The main one: characters announcing who they are at the top. That is poison. If a show is predicated on the fact that the stars will be doing impressions of real people, any sketch in which we have to be told who the character is is more than a fucking red flag, it's a death knell. Announcing a character automatically means that character shouldn't be in the show. That it _is_ in the show means they're struggling to fill. I saw Simon Greenall's name in the credits. It's quite sad, really. He's more talented than the stars combined.
Debra Stephenson is so fucking fit.
I miss impression shows. They seem to have died out in the 10s.
Tomos Burton I
Do you remember Dead Ringers with Jon Culshaw??
The Imitation Game has brought them back and it's hilarious!
It's because you aren't allowed to take the piss out of anyone now
The teenies
They weren't wrong about Schofield were they 🤣
Spot on .
Absolutely brilliant! Both Culshaw and Stephenson are superb impressionists. Pity the BBC can't show more stuff of this quality.
"Welcome to the News At Ten. I'm Fiona Bruce, and you're not. But I won't rub it in."
Quite fitting that Phillip Schofield is in the men's toilets presenting The Cube as he came out as gay today.
I know yeah lol
Maybe they knew....
How the fuck is that fitting? 😂 a MAN using a MENS toilet? What’s he supposed to do? Piss in his cereal?
Debra Stephenson's "Davina" is brilliant!

I love her.
Gordon brown sounds more like a Scottish tom baker
debras impression of that silly posh tart off location etc is uncanny! plus shes fit
good impressions, weak material
Debra is amazing actress!
Alan Carr was awesome.
Debra Stephenson is hot
His Chris Evans voice is way off - not even close. His Alan Carr and Bojo are perfect.
The Pat Butcher impression was absolutely spot on!
I love that Debra Stephenson plays Hammond 😂
Ken Barlow and Pat Butcher were great. The makeup was outstanding.
The facial movement jerks are funny 🤣
Top Gear 1910. What a brilliant idea.
Jon as Gordon Brown looks much more like Robert De Niro
He does a good version of London mayor Boris Johnson here.
Bring debra back to Corrie
Debra Stephenson is superb as....Debra Stephenson ❤️
The Davina impression is my fave, spot on
Damn I used to love these shows
This woman impersonator is hottttt
🤣🤣🤣 I have the box set fortunately
Even if Debra Stephenson was done up as Pat Butcher, I would faint at her feet....
Seein Debra Stephenson as Alex Jones , Kirstie Allsopp an Fiona Bruce turned me on big stile , mmmwah
I hate when impressionists announce who they are...noooooo
That's when you know it's gonna be a shit impression

@@Anonymous-or4ru Well, you've certainly got the right name.
Her Katie price was spot in to a tee even in 2023 lol
I had my back to the screen when the first impression came on, and I was 100% confident it was the real person!
Michael McIntyre

Best Boris ever!
The ken is actually very clever

his impressions are ridiculous you just know immediately, hers are a little hit and miss sometimes tbh
Ridiculous? Isn't that sort of the point? I think its called humour. I don't think the object is to produce a scientifically accurate re-enactment...
well no its meant to be funny, all I'm saying is I think his are funnier because they are more realistic whereas for me hers aren't so much
The Pat Butcher one, though 😂.
"Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 12" i don't think it was mate
I Meant The Quality
"Quality"
Love the HBC and Burton sketch!
People say this bloke Jim Meskimen is the best, but he has nothing on Jon Nothing.
Boris is so close
Boris, and Davina. Unbelievable.
His Alan Carr is perfect, but his Philip Scofield is shit. Win some, lose some.
"I feel like I want to kiss you all over"
"Don't be daft, that could take weeks"
who are these two supposed to be? is the woman from east enders? who's ken?
Lol
Extremely poor scripts trudged through by extremely talented comics
Ken and Pat that's so wrong.
The impressions were almost always very good but the scripts sucked hugely.
Lmao! Nice one for the post :D
Stephenson is so much better than Culshaw. Some of his are woeful
Schofield was a poor impression, nothing like him.
omg that top gear one haha
Love these
McCartney is very good.
"It's the work of devils" 🤣🤣
My God her teeth are incredible ❤️
Her everything lol
The impressions are great, the writing not so much
Nick Robinson and that was me done!! 😂😂😂😂
Absolute genius these two
I guess it's funny if you know who they're making fun of ?

Haha from Windsor to Slough ! It only takes 10 mins to get from Slough to Windsor.
His Chris Evans is so poor
Piss poor, culshaw can only do frank bruno. Everything else is a camp himself.
@@MightyGimp give it a rest you miserable twat.
Oh meow .Your jealousy is dripping off your chin onto my screen .Stop whinging pedant !
They really need to employ better writers. This stuff is dire.
Stop moaning.
6:55 - where's the Isle of Lewis???
Island off the north western scottish coast.
Thig ar Latha 96 I know; I live there! I meant why's it not on the friggin map?
ScottieGirl20 aw right haha. I dont know? Maybe because its an island and is kinda far out compared with other scottish islands.
Thig ar Latha 96 I hate it when TV productions like this one leave our home island out deliberately; it drives us a bit crazy!
ScottieGirl20 Next to Debenhams'
Just not funny none of it
You are drip.
Mostly a bit crap
