Bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal and Foo Fighters have not only recorded music here, but continue to talk about its specialness and add to its folklore. You may have seen Anthony Bourdain roam the halls in No Reservations here. The vibe is incredible, a small home studio with all the gear you’d need. You can feel how and why these legendary stories and bands like to spend time here. It’s not pretentious, Dave makes you feel at home immediately and its location in the desert has a vortex like feel matched with a sense of peace and calm. A blend of inspiration and relaxation that sets the scene to write, record and make some damn good music.

Hope these cardboard sessions finally put an end to the "tone wood" illusion, electric guitars function via magnets, build material literally doesn't matter. Joey is on top form, still the tastiest mother Queens ever had.

The trick is to move the bass around a little more, thus suggesting some kind of progression. Otherwise you end up with a hapless drone-jam kind of situation. Unless of course that is what you are going for 😀Love the sound tho, a brilliant raw recording.
