That rifle has projectile disfunction.
It happens to everyone, size isnt everything.
The former longest blaster was neither the Centurion or the Longstrike, it was the Thunderhawk.
Slide out barrel does not count.

The diffrence between a gimic to make a 'longer' sniper and a removable barrel. Is the interchanigble barrel is neet. While a gimic sliding pice of plastic that cant be remeoved is annoying. :/ (not to mention the anoying 'clip' sticking out the side :p
@@darthvaderbutwayshittier7054 Longstrike had a barrel extension that was several inches long. Longshot was the one with a front blaster.
This is one of my favourite Mega blasters! I use it quite often. It obviously is no Centurion, but it gives you a different sniper blaster experience! I have noticed the priming is getting a little rough, but it is a small prime for Mega darts. I love how the scope is removable. I’m sure a lot of people are going to like this blaster. Thanks Drac!

I find it hilarious that as soon as it hits shelves, they remove it and vault it in the game. Thats right, this isn't available for in game at the moment.
I've already seen the Dr Flux review, and I agree with him. Minimizing the Heavy SR can make for a great Bolter pistol thing

For real man, I honestly dig this thing. The Fortnite SMG was a real letdown. I get it was trying to replicate the MP5 in-game, but the proportions are awful and don't even represent the model you see in Fortnite.
This thing and the Fortnite AR (The SCAR-L) look absolutely amazing. The Fortnite HC (Desert Eagle) looks great too without the silly suppressor attachment.
I honestly think the original SMG / the Dinosaur Tec-9 thing, as well the Pump Action Shotgun, look great and are unique to Fortnite, but translated well fantastically as Nerf blasters.
Blaster looks good, but I think it kinda sucks how they only give you 6 darts. I think it needs more boolets.
Even though I'm happy we gotta centurion reskin I do think the centurion had a much more handsome shell
Ah, but can we MAKE it into a real hard-core nerf barret antimateriel rifle? You've GOTTA do a mod on it, take it up to like...11.5. Turnin it up to 11 isn't enough, that needs to be a Barrett.
Imagine a mega dart at 200fps... thats a shield or heavy killer
fun fact, but the heavy SR nerf gun's 43 inches is actually the exact same size as the BFG 50, which is basically almost the exact same gun as the 50cal, while the 50 cal is 55 inches.

Getting this for my son. Going to saw the orange barrel off, change the spring/bolt, maybe the action entirely and finish with a realistic paint job. Going for a Scar-H build.

Also Drac, I finally finished that 800 fps spring. it's made of this brass, and is 18 inches in length. I can't even prime the dang thing and I'm 17 lol.
Put stampede internals inside of it and its a literal barret 50 cal. But the problem is making a stampede semi auto. So maybe a flywheel system would work better but I was thinking of making it basically a semi auto caliburn via some sort of semi auto stampede but making it semi would be the problem.
You wouldn't really need to make it semi auto, with Stampede internals you can just tap the trigger and the fire rate makes it hard to shoot too many, like faux semi auto.
Im planning to get another one and convert it into like a bolt pistol. without the barrel and the stock, its pretty much there anyway

Any thoughts on the mod potential of the Heavy SR to improve it’s performance?
I've been wondering - since Mega (and mega xl) darts are designed to have comparable accuracy to normal darts while using lower fps, if a mega (or even mega xl) blaster was pumped up to truly high fps, would it be significantly more accurate than an equivalent fps normal dart blaster? I'm thinking this particularly due to fps limits meaning I can't use high fps blasters really, and so by extension actually getting a true "sniper" feel is kinda impossible. If high fps mega darts (mega accufakes or whatever of course) were as accurate as higher fps normal darts, I would absolutely love to get my hands on a blaster that was designed around that. Obviously, to get that high of fps with the bigger, heavier, darts you'd need a lot more power behind it, which would then mean a bigger, longer, blaster with a long prime bolt action would make a lot of sense, resulting in a true sniper that could theoretically work with fps limits.
Or maybe I'm just dumb and don't actually understand how Mega (and Mega XL) darts work, and even with higher fps they'd still be less accurate than normal darts at those same fps counts.
Normal Mega has been proven that higher FPS doesn't help its case, but oddly Mega XL it does.

Pretty different mechanism actually. Centurian was a pain in the ass to mod & jammed a l o t.
This this actually has a normal non-reversed mechanism, that could be modded. Which is neat :)

Notguns at the rifle range with the right load will physically blow a chunk of foam out of your opponent.
Nifle Nrenades blow a limb of your opponent
Nrenade Naunchers will blow your opponent into foamy bits that you can stare at.
(Pistol foam darts, rifle aka standard long foam darts, mega xl darts, nerf foamy grenades and shotgun pallette darts if they exist)

Very unlikely, they really don't wanna model after real guns. Halo was their limit. Sure, Fortnite ones are modelled after real guns, but they're already cartoonish enough that they just barely pass Hasbro's standard, and even those are exaggerated more than the game.

So I've purchased 2 centurions from thrift stores. They both "work" in that they prime and fire, but they don't shoot far and they bite a big chunk out of the dart as they shoot. Does anyone know what I should look at first to fix that issue?

So salty towards nerf
Nerf is fallen to the wayside with gimmicky products that suck and are over priced, and with no clear direction of who or what they want to make priority going into the future! Dart zone and adventure force were always over looked not knowing how good they really were. They are setting higher standards and choosing quality over anything else thus why they are going to back Nerf into a corner and just have at it! If Nerf is gonna continue to make blasters related to kids games and make money of a gimmick they need to just step aside and let the big dogs actually bring life to this hobby and getting more people involved!
