I'm sure this will change as you can get materials from the free for all land area and these materials should be used to craft the best gear. Which makes sense, plus part of the reason why people are going there.
the game has a lot of potential but the biggest problem is that there are thousands of items and most of them are garbage... With the system of upgrading items, it would be really more meaningful to add visual lightness according to the degree of upgrade and upgrade to the upper levels with a very low probability... collecting thousands of related irrelevant items is quite boring
You can’t please everybody all of the time. If you’re not happy or you don’t like it move on. It’s just a game pretty sure there’s no gun to anybody’s head?

Everything that was announced with Rise of the Angry Earth did not even get delivered and we paid for that shit. A roadmap, lmao what.
The end game is broken, the war system is bad, the gold distribution is unfair, the crafting and tax system benefits a small group of players, it can't and won't be fixed ahead of Lord of the Rings, AGS has already moved on to milking console kids and throwing away PC players.
Um but that is exactly what this is, a last cash grab before they move most of this team to another project. If you think otherwise you are delusional. Enjoy the fresh start and one last horah with a decent sized playerbase because come December it will be back to empty servers and no more support. Best we can hope for is they sell the IP instead of moving it to maintenance or sunset.
why would AGS spend all of this time, money, and effort on fine-tuning the game and porting it to console just to drop it immediately after? it wouldn't really make sense. typically, games going into sunset mode swing the gates wide open for cheap, quick & easy to implement Pay to win systems. we haven't seen that yet from NW. so until that happens, i'll just be patient and remain hopeful for the future of the game

With the system of upgrading items, it would be really more meaningful to add visual lightness according to the degree of upgrade and upgrade to the upper levels with a very low probability... collecting thousands of related irrelevant items is quite boring
@@doganonder5068 I 100% agree
Duh that's all games
All it was? Console release is a big deal. No subscriptions means less content. If you want monthly updates go to a subscription mmo like wow.
Some free mmo have lot of content
Need a better season passe with actually cool skins.
@@curs3dqc42 you’re not wrong!
Lets be real, you guys been playing an Alfa Version of the game for 3 years.
@@OzzyOhNo 😂 Truueee
Its funny to think that new player are excited to play the game but player that never stoped playing are saying to not trust AGS... Hahaha
@@NartrachGaming it is kind of paradoxical huh? 😂
You can’t please everybody all of the time. If you’re not happy or you don’t like it move on. It’s just a game pretty sure there’s no gun to anybody’s head?
Veteran. Firing Scot and Katy would actually be a more realistic first step. A roadmap? Every roadmap they have made has not been completed. Or did everyone forget that? Everything that was announced with Rise of the Angry Earth did not even get delivered and we paid for that shit. A roadmap, lmao what.
The end game is broken, the war system is bad, the gold distribution is unfair, the crafting and tax system benefits a small group of players, it can't and won't be fixed ahead of Lord of the Rings, AGS has already moved on to milking console kids and throwing away PC players.
@@gamezonereactions8388 did you see the launch update they just released? Doesn’t look like they’re slowing down development at all
Um but that is exactly what this is, a last cash grab before they move most of this team to another project.
If they don't add pve server/s NWA is going to diminish.
Loool WHAT
im 99% sure they doing what they doing cuz they wanna close the game in 2-3 years u cant be that clueless as a dev u just cant.. main reason for me to say that is LOTR mmo is made by same dev team soo makees no sence why even waste time on gamer they fked up already and knowing this devs i dont expect LOTR to be any good
no reason play there LOTR mmo when there LOTRO anyways and it has a lot of respect for tolkien as well and there getting new expansion next month or something like that ags will just run the IP into the ground
@@Misosykkuno LOTRO is very outdated and kinda boring if u are not like a fan of the films or books.. its hard to get new ppl to game like this u know i like the films and still couldnt play the game for a long time+ poorly optimzed.. its just outdated for today standars overall thats the main problem nut i agree with you other than visuals and prob better combat for today standards aint no day AGS make a better version of an MMO than original
Please remove auto lock. Ruins the entire skill experience
@@codycohen1455 I’ll call up Scot Lane 😉
But no I agree with you. Auto lock in PvP drastically changes the feel of the game. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
PC players… you were beta testers this whole time … muah-ha-ha-ha!!
@@maracullis4965 😂😂😂 It’s TRUUEE. But ya know what? Im okay with that. Even with some of the rough patches, I’ve had a TON of fun in the game. Now I just want AGS to reassure us there’s a future for the game by releasing the 2025 roadmap!
Thank you for your service. Now we can play the real game. lol
My gut tells me this is finally time they'll put out substancial endgame content cause the overhauls are done and things are finally in the right place.
This is far from the 1st mmo that messed up it's launch. FF14 redeemed itself after its 3rd year as well and ESO also had a bad a launch.
trust... yeah no i dont trust any developer or publisher anymore
but i just want good games ,i dont want to hate so i give it a chance
i also dont need and even see it as a mistake that players always want new stuff updates expansions ect
if a game only stays exciting because there is new stuff coming ...it isnt realy a good game is it? you just get distracted from otherwise boring gameplay
and we behave like children who want every day beeing christmas ,looking for the next dopamin kick over new things
i know i am this old dude who tells ppl "it was all better back then"
but we had games that didnt recieve updates ,expansions or even bugfixes for years or never
take d2
4 (llater5) acts ,3 difficulties
thats it
and it is still these days beeing played and more popular then d2r
you need a core game that is fun and keeps you hooked
then you can add onto this
@@Gn8Lif3 True!! Well said. 😎
i think they dont really care about the PC community any more.. its too small now, most have long been frustrated and left.. they only care about getting the huge console market to buy the game.. play it for a few hundred hours, and thn the game will die again
@@MrProbstandrew I wouldn’t say they don’t care at all about the PC community. But I do think they got fed up dealing with all the toxicity and negative thrown at them. I’m sure it was exhausting. If new PC and console players are more positive and supportive about the game, it would make sense for them to focus more of their efforts towards them
Isn't this your second video about this, I'm confused
which previous video are you referring to? This video focuses more on what AGS needs to do to rebuild trust with the Veteran New World community in order to get them to return to the game in October. Were you able to watch the whole thing?
The doom and gloom is so obnoxious. It’s a game. If you like it play it and if you don’t, move on.
New players will get their money’s worth and by then new updates will come out. ESO went through the same thing with One Tamriel.
“Last ditch cash grab” is a ridiculous conclusion to reach, pour a bunch of money into porting the game over, writing quests, marketing, growing the player base, just to abandon it? Silly.
@@Hawxaw Preach brotha!! 100% agree. I honestly wish I had touched on that concept a little bit in this video. It’s not like the devs last-minute threw together a console release. It was a huge part of the game’s long-term plan and they invested a ton of time and money into it. I’m glad I’m finding more people that agree with me! Thanks for watching!
@@Z-MACx exactly, I remember when I first played on release it was obvious that the combat system was designed for console support.
Personally playing with M&K started to hurt my hands when using the rapier, so I’m stoked for getting a console release!
Exactly. Too many gamers treat games like an effing lifestyle and not what it is, a hobby. There are very few hobbies that can engage someone for hundreds or thousands of hours for $40 bucks.
You have two other videos that basically say the same thing.
@@BigBoyMMO did you watch the second half of the video?
Vet. here Amazon wants everyone to make new characters on other cross platform servers and forget about the last 2 years. your 1000+ hours mean nothing the first 2 years was just a beta
hey thanks for watching and leaving a comment! i don't know about you but i had a lot of fun playing NW the past couple years. the game wasn't perfect by any means, but I met a bunch of really cool people and i didn't have to pay a sub fee to get 2k hours of enjoyment out of it. it sucks we havent gotten much of anything over the past year, but if the console release launches successfully , we could be looking at more budgeting for larger expansions. so i'm feeling hopeful for the future!
@@Z-MACx hopeful always I never want a Gane release to be bad, but it was already release lol, I'm going to play it simply because of my console friends don't see a lot of no pay to win mmo which new world has going for it
