I love crafting. I find it so therapeutic to travel around gathering the resources, while managing my inventory as well. I think New World in particular handles the crafting aspect very well

Awesome guide. One quick note, using higher tier resources to craft items does not increase the experience you get for crafting that item. So if you are just trying to level up crafting, use the lowest tier resources you have.
I’ve learned a lot, the trick is to use level two mats for tier two items. It’ll allow you to increase the gear score the more rare the material used. Using anything higher than the lvl of the item you’re trying to craft is a waste and won’t increase your gear score beyond what a tier 2 material would when it is the same rarity. To try and summarize his video, and what I’ve learned while playing. Crafting gear at least has helped a lot as a newbie
When you select materials at crafting different type of equipments it's not a bad thing to uncheck the "owned" so you can check all of the option and test even if you don't have the material before you craft the item. I just got this tip today from one of my new friend in New World.😉

I’m obsessed with this game on Xbox. I put 500hrs into eso as it was pretty much the only valid option and it was on controller now I get NWA and it’s MnK native and it’s an amazing experience
You can pin a recipe and you dont need to write down the mats you need to make it everytime. You see the recipe like a quest then at the right of the screen !! Also there are crafting clothe sets that gives you bonus to item levels and refined number items you get when you are wearing them during the crafting process!! Plus there are trophies you can make and put them at your house that help for crafting outcomes!
I wish they could add the option to buy the material you need from the station some times I’m short just a few resources and have to go to the trading post. That would be a nice touch in my opinion.

Hello sir , I did come back to game and went this time to disabled crossplay server on xbox , I started with soldier class and I wanna start progressing crafting weaponsmith , but one thing that bother me is how do you unlock more recipes to craft more? Do you need to craft books and in them there is a chance to get recipe?
You have to craft "things" in the relevant skill. So to make weapons, you have to craft weapons, which gets you weaponscrafting skills, which unlocks better recipes. And in between you can find the crafting recipe books which give you bonus skillsup :)
I crafted an absurd amount of charcoal this weekend and I had to check the smelting XP gain like 6 times because I was like there is no way this is gonna give me that much smelting XP

Hi renfail,ive found mods for axe,pick etc how do you attach them to items,I saw that if you go to craft axe there's a option to add mod is there a way to add a mod for an axe etc without crafting a new item,I'm level 10 on xbox.tia
I had to laugh at your pointing at your level when technically you have a built in laser pointer with the mouse reticle. I loved it because I would totally do the same thing.
In the beginning, crafting seems easy, but getting to level 250, getting the crafting clothing and the 3 legendary trophies takes a huge amount of gold and/or time to make end game gear. Do it if it is fun (and stop when it’s not), but don’t do it if you have visions of making money (unless a guild is funding you and you enjoy explaining all the components they need to collect for an item with 2 perks/1 random or a 3 perker).
Craft4life. At the start, you can craft your own bags for more inventory space, and later you can craft very desired items for endgame, making serious gold.
I am lvl 63 and have totally neglected crafting. I have most skill to about lvl 50 but still only have basic recipes. I have skinning to 205 and logging about 150. I want to do crafting but want to get MSQ out of the way first. Then I can concentrate on all the MMO stuff.
There’s information here none of the “level crafting fast” videos will give you. Sadly, I’ve found it’s more time efficient for me to farm gold via dailies and purchase mats than to farm them myself. Atleast at higher levels.
