The Manhattans are great R&B vocal group who started in the 60's. Their 2 biggest hits are "Kiss & Say Goodbye" & "Shining Star". But they had other good songs such as "There's No Me Without You", "Crazy", "Forever By Your Side", "Just The Lonely Talking Again" etc.
I can't believe I still know all the words after all these decades. Classic slow jam.
I grew up in the 70s when most R & B songs were grown and sexy so at 5,6, 7 years old songs like these were my absolute favorites! We as kids didn’t understand the lyrics but we loved and appreciated this kind of music.
Oh yeah, you need to step into the world of The Manhattans.....timeless hits!

I just spoke to Gerald Alston a few months ago... He's still got it. He sang at a Masonic event, he's a Mason and I've met him quite a few times, if you didn't know this music, you'd be un a room with him and never guess who he was in a million years...❤❤
