Electric Fillet Knives for Crappie & Bluegill | Rapala R12 & Rapala ION

Something to note is that the R 12 HD has a brushless motor, hence the significant increase in power ! Also there is a fast charger and slower charger available. I just picked up the R 12 HD, 2 blades, 2 battery's, A case and fast charger on sale at Scheeels for $109. A Steal...

My Rapala R12 motor wore out after one season and the batteries won't charge...Do a search on the R12 and you will see a LOT of people with the same issues...

I hate to hear that! Well, I'm only a couple seasons in with mine so far, but I hope it holds up. Otherwise I'll be doing a follow-up review haha.

my family will be down for spring break next week. would like to get kids on some fish. where would you recommend taking kids on a pontoon? looking for numbers of fish. we are ok with invasive fish.

So with Lake Okeechobee to the east of there, I would hit the north side of the lake. Pick up some crickets for bait and fish for bluegills. They should be turning on very soon! Look for other boats doing the same thing if you don’t have side sonar to find active bluegill beds. Check out my bluegill videos for a closer look at how we fish for them.
