- On 20:11:12 I took in a little deformed and heavily pregnant cat. She was still a kitten herself! Her front legs were deformed, and she had the look of a T Rex. Her nature is beautiful. On 7:12:20 she gave birth to 3 babies. It was frightening and painful for her. Heartbreakingly, her first baby to appear had an even worse condition than herself. His back legs twisted like curls, backwards and upwards. The front legs were bowed. With regular manipulation , and some homemade bracing (for very short spells at a time) this kitten now has perfect legs and walks fine as can be seen on future vids. There is not much online about helping this condition, but I know for sure it can be. Kittens like this can be turned around, with help, patience and gentleness, to walk normally.
I had a cat born like that. His feet never entirely straightened out, but he was as fast and graceful as any other cat I knew, and he lived for over seventeen years.

I had a litter of three kittens with swimmers syndrome. Fixed them all. Still have one of them full grown now. He's perfectly fine.

In response to Lynn's notes, I saw an episode of Dr. Chris Pet Vet (show from Australia) a couple years back where he had a lady bring in a kitten with bowed legs. He instructed her to gently stretch/exercise the legs to strengthen them and also to attach splints. It was work but the kitten grew up to have completely normal legs.

@@geoscilove6609 the mum is fine and still with me. Her sons legs ended up fine after manipulation and splinting. He can run, jump and climb, and he is with me also along with 3 other rescue cats, a dog, 5 hens and 7 ducks . X

Hi Roberto, yes both Mum (named Pretty) and son (named Ian) are absolutely fine. Mums legs are fused as she came to me like that, but I massaged and braced the newborn's legs in soft bandage throughout every day till he was 3 weeks old . His legs are the correct shape and he can leap onto counters, run , walk, jump up fences. I kept them both . Please see my follow up vid.

I couldn't see a twisted leg. I rescued a bunny with a splayed leg in the back and twisted legs in the front. He can do most of the things that other bunnys do and he acts really happy.
