    A simple way to review:
    1. think about what you're doing in hand (no autopilot, you should have a reason for every ability used etc)
    2. if something happened that was against what you expected, review it and find out why
that's it. did you die in an all in when you thought you would win? review and see why. ah they lvld up during the trade, i wasn't tracking xp well enough. or ah they had an item over me. oh i missed x ability here. that's it.
this helps train your intuition for next time. play with intention, review when something goes wrong and try to root cause what you missed in your calculated intention, and the final secret step is FORGIVE YOURSELF for making a mistake because you're still learning and we are human.
do this every game and after 100+ games you'll be so much better than you were before and over time that improvement will reflect in your win rate and rank.

I want to agree with something said that was very important to my learning. Many seasons ago I reviewed all my deaths after every game and tried to identify bad ones, why they were bad, and how I could have avoided them. This helped me become such a better player and climb to where in most games I'm near the bottom in deaths while still having very high kill participation and impact. Looking at my highest account which is around D1/Masters, it averages 4.7 deaths per games with 14.8 KP.

i love the first 8 min vs first 4 waves. the difference i suspect is due to mid champs often having range allowing safer play and scaling with spacing to be more viabke, so theres a longer period before things become 'set' or 'unforgiving' while top melee matchups, those early waves matter so much more bc smaller mistakes cost more, every cs puts you in danger to be outtraded if behind, etc. just a cool parallel
edit: finished the vid yall basicaly said tht lmao

@16:30 its true for everything tho. Also even in football, basketball etc. The higher level u recieve as a kid, u realize u have to play one role striker/defender/wing, etc. in order to learn the basics of that role. This where most people quit as a kid, and so it is for league. It is actually otp'ing a role in any sport, with patterns of passes, runs, etc. A memory game of experience. The striker has no idea of the other roles as deep. Actually in any job in the world. u OTP a role. Same for everything

Hey Coach Curtis I got to the section about Doinb Beifang and Mangofish, I have been spectating a challenger Irelia and Akali and he doesn't even ward or lean and he always gets ganked like wtf sometimes he dies but often he trades a 1 for 1 or outplays and kills both of them. The wave isn't even pulled for a long lane to chase just in the middle even slightly pushed out. I let go of my keyboard cause where's the fundamentals in that
Also am I wrong in thinking all of this is more prominent this season, even in season 10-12 fundamentals mattered more than champ mastery/mechanics

    • @azeri_7091
      @azeri_7091 2 місяці тому

Maybe it’s a worthwhile death for him. If he gets a kill and the wave pushes into their tower they die he gets first blood and they lose the whole wave. He also wastes junglers time. If he outplays and kills both that’s 700g plus the enemy laner loses wave. Maybe there’s other reasons they play like that

After 2 years off the game I came back this split places iron 3 now im plat 4. Mid main. otp in mid at least I think is not as good as 1-3 champs. like if you're an akali otp and enemy picks 3 tanks including a splitter youre not doing anything. It's good to have options that cover comps imo. one ad mid one ap mid minimum are needed. you otp yone and they rammus and its game.

1:07:40 what you say is kinda true, but at the same time there are different kinds of people and that's a topic on which you should do some research. For example Nathan Mot (or whatever is the name of the jungler guy from BBC) has what it's called a "strong internal locus of control", just like me, and most people and therefore most league players, have what it's called a "external locus of control" (some stronger than others) and basically if by personality your locus of control is internal, you always see the problems from a different perspective, and even if you don't have the knowledge to asess if it's your responsability or not and how was it your bad or whatever, your thought is "it's my bad" and for example when I can't explain why it's my bad all what I say it "I don't know why X went that way, but it's my bad for expecting it to go in Y way", and maybe thats kinda the bad self mentality you talked a lot in many videos in bbc and here, but that bad mentality and self-blaming is still better than the mentality of "i'm at the mercy of the world" because with this mentality worst case scenario next time you will think stuff twice if it looks like a similar situation, and over time you will learn why it is or not your fault and what can you do to change ir and whatever, but with the expernal locus of control mentality there is just not a learning whatsoever it's a "unlucky" you stil don't know why, but you don't even bother to understand or anything because you blame the providence or basically stuff out of your control.
I hope I explained myself good enough about this topic.
In conclusion I think most people have an external locus of control because we as a humans don't wanna suffer and feeling like stuff is your bad is usually perceived as suffering, but some people isntead have an internal locus of control and they use the opposite pov which is also not ideal, but usually it's better whenever you want to improve at stuff, but once people build knowledge, awareness, etc. they tend to have a stronger internal locus of control because they are capable of realizing about stuff and how they affect it.
PS: I'm not an expert in psychology, and I'm not even interested, but I did some research about it since I was wondering why I always try to think on what could I have done when shit don't go the way I want in life in general while people just blame luck or whatever shit, and I came to that term, and idk how did I described it and maybe when I said majority I am wrong or whatever, I just lack the knowledge, but what I do know it's that it's a personality, so yes you can change your mindset and even have an internal locus of control pov about certain aspects of life, but since it's a personality you really can't do much to change it as a way of viewing the world, and none of the 2 kinds is better, they are just different; usually you are more successful if you have an internal but happier with an external and whatever but that goes out of the scope of this comment.

The way you think about the game will either gain or lose you LP over time. If you're climbing, you're thinking about the game in a way that doesn't need correction, cause you're climbing. If you're not, trying to change how you think about the game is not going to happen in the moment, otherwise, you'd have already changed your thinking and you'd be climbing. Reviewing allows you to slow the game down and find the way you SHOULD be thinking. If you don't review, you may not ever become aware of how you should think and will never even have the chance to climb.
