@R. M Nah you are just 1 finger melody guy that's not listening to the SOUND of a synth. I hear the attack, the filter, tone of the synth and i know what's up. Those basic functions define the synth it's 'sound'. And those are not preset sounds btw.

This is the first demo of this synth I actually enjoy. Not sure why every synth guy on UA-cam tries to demo the most alien non-musical sound they can get out of an instrument. It’s refreshing to hear some chords and not some space beeping.
That demo around 7 minutes gave me a super big Radiohead feeling.

I don't even play keys but I love these sounds. Very impressed with these chord voicings. Quite unique indeed. I play guitar and have well over a hundred different effects pedals mostly analog. A few digital as well but I just love new and interesting "tones". I like being a mad scientist of tonal exploration. Different sounds transport you to new arena' s in your mind and move you emotionally. Music is like a vast fabric of richly diverse dimensions of free form expression. So colorful. Tonality are the musician's pallet. Wielding a brush of expressive colors through sounds. Musicians are artists. I'm glad I came across your video. You can find a world of inspiration listening to instruments and artists your not normally accustomed to hearing. Well done sir! I am more blessed after hearing your art form!!!

I own a Moog One and I would disagree in saying it’s the best analog I’ve ever heard. The Model D, Voyager, and Matriarch all have more pleasing core tones (and those are just Moog monosynths). The OB-6 also has a more pleasant core tone, though it’s limited in modulation and has pretty stale reverb and delay effects, compared to Moog’s Eventide ones.

I'm surprised at how much hate It's gotten so far. The main complaint seems to be the harsh sonic character or lack there of given It costs 6 - 8 grand.
The way he plays It sounds amazing and It looks like you can Imitate any other synth and do far more I love It. Hope to have one In 2 more years.

@@Jimbo386000 hahahah! you sir are Trippin on drugs, its well worth the price! .example ,I paid 3K for my MPC-3000 in '96 (I was a young broke musician then) it has been worth EVERY penny still have it and still use it regularly.its paid off its cost investment because of its QUALITY.so if you want real quality of an instrument your gonna pay the price.....OR not ....no mo talk.

MOVINGSTEALTH You seem like one of those people who hangs around Gearslutz thinking you’re better than everyone else because you’ve been duped into thinking spending endless amounts of money on gear that about as useful as other gear that’s half the price is worth it. Hahaha

Mike Larson nahhh. It just lacks a strong sonic character like the OB6 has.

I love Jamiroquai, but this guy should also make his own albums. I love the chords and sounds he uses especially when he brings the Rhodes in. I'd love to play a Moog one.

Around 12:00 was a great sound, surprising anyone didn't like this machine btw, all I've heard was amazing, I watched mainly stuff by Moog engineers themselves

@@st0rmchild Indeed, although some of the problems/issues are surprising for the price tag, and for coming from Moog. Since the Moog One was first announced, kept thinking, "oh, I sure hope they sorted out all the tuning issues of the MemoryMoog ... but seems like that was their starting point : ) "let's pick up from where we left off"
MemoryMoog was even then one of the best sounding analogue polyphonics .. but overheated/crashed and had tuning issues (even with onboard calibration routine)

It just blew me mind how he talked about how tight the tuning can be on modern instruments which keep them from having that straight vintage like sound; cue the Prophet 5 Rev 4 which includes a knob called "vintage" that works in giving you that wonkiness he was talking about.
God, why are great synths so expensive? I want them all! I can't even really play them to be honest and I still want them.
