    Thanks for the great information. I used Color Oops after using many applications of olive oil and it worked good at lightening the red. I will try two more applications of color oops.

    oil pulling gets henna out. I was stupid enough to dye my blonde hair with horrible dark henna and I have been doing oil pulling and it definitely gets the color out, but it's gonna take a lot of sessions.

      what oil did you use please, and how long is it necessary to leave it on.

    • @daisyl3245
      @daisyl3245 5 років тому +6

      @@cindyshanks7141 you use equal parts olive oil, argon oil, and coconut oil. Mix that all together and cover your hair with it. Put on a shower cap and leave the oil on overnight, then wash it out in the morning. I've found that it's most effective with newly dyed hair (though it varies for everyone). The method I'm using now to strip my hair is crushed vitamin C and shampoo mixed together and leaving it on for an hour and washing it out. It seems to be working slightly. moral of the story, just don't use henna hair dye. It's one of the worst mistakes I've ever made in my whole life, and I'm left with having to strip my poor hair so I can get the ugly color out.

      @@in.harmony.with.nature just a regular shampoo. coming from a year and a half later, literally absolutely nothing will completely remove henna. you have to wait it out. I ended up using a demi permanent brown hair dye to cover up the ugly henna, and it did not react weird with the henna, just covered it up. But I still have henna in the ends of my my hair today & am waiting for it to grow out. good luck :/

      Alicematrix in order to prevent a reaction use Malibu c first. This product will remove the peroxide residue. A safer approach is to use a Demi color.

    • @mauratv

      You can use henna right away if it’s a safe henna. I used lush and then removed it later. It doesn’t contain metallic salts so it won’t interact badly with the peroxide. Don’t worry hun 😘 if you’ve already used henna and want to remove it. I made a mini series on how to do that. ua-cam.com/video/xWPbAw2v9LQ/v-deo.html
