Hey James, I have been getting into Ryan Adams recently and I absolutely love him. He grew up 20 minutes away from me so I have a special connection to his roots and I connect with that. I wanted you to know though that I recently picked up "Gold" and "Cold Roses" on amazon USA for dirt cheap and when they arrived I was pleasantly suprised to see that Chris Bellman was in the deadwax and they were pressed at pallas. They look exactly the same as the old issues but they look and sound like a new mastering! The hoffman forums have more info..
James, Good 5 in 5 Ryan Adams. Great talented musician. Great selections I might add!! Really enjoy all of his stuff.. That Whiskeytown album is good alt.country. Still plan on getting Love Is Hell MOFI set just waiting.. Good stuff Buddy. Have a good day.. Rodney
Just got into Ryan /Cardnials......What a great treat for me, and all of us. I love that Cold Rose's Grateful Dead sound. I need a few more also. Yes he is amazing.
Such a gifted musician with a diverse discography. Tough choice , but for me hard to beat "Love is hell", "Easy tiger", "Jacksonville city nights" , "Strangers almanac" and "cold roses" for a top 5
Nice picks James. Cardinology is the top for me and Whiskeytown is great. The Live at Carnegie Hall box is pricey but he is in top form on those recordings.
Oh Yeah, i just love Ryan Adams. I have nearly everything he officially released, all on CD though as I wasn't collecting vinyl back when I started buying his music back around 2001. I love Whiskeytown and also have their three officially releases albums. I have been reluctant to dip into his Taylor swift record but I have hear reasonably good reports on it so far. I do have on Vinyl though the 3 LP box he did Live at Carnegie Hall, it is brilliant. The grail though would be the 15 LP Live after Death Box set from 2011

Hi James, nice collection. He has a vast discography,he seemed to be releasing an album every six months for a point in the early noughties.
Great vid, love Ryan Adams. "Love Is Hell" is my personal fave but it's just so expensive...I haven't been able to pull the trigger just yet.
