- I feel that the higher the ISO setting, the more noise will appear, but also other contrast and colors will not be displayed as nicely.
The method of shooting with a wide dynamic range and adjusting it with color grading is labor intensive, so I now prefer to shoot at a brightness close to the finished image (a little darker) when shooting and finish with minimal color grading.
It's my preference, but I prefer a slightly darker tone that has more shadow and midtone tones and colors than highlights.
Maybe not so with today's films, but I feel that films from around the 70's and 80's or so, or films shot on film, do not have the bright luminance. I think the reason is the low sensitivity of film.
BMPCC is a digital cinema camera, but it is interesting to think of it as a low-sensitivity film and shoot at ISO 200 or 400.
Even with the BMPCC4K, I have been shooting at ISO 100 to 500 recently.
I use the web's translation function.
By the way, in this video the lens is set to F8 and F11.
