I lived in Malaga (his home town) for a couple of years and used to frequent the El Pimpi bar/restaurant quite often. I also used to walk down the seafront esplanade every morning for a 6km walk, which is named after him. They are very proud of him in Malaga, and rightly so.

This man was speaking deeply from his spirit and was bearing his heart and soul and respect to Jimmey who gave Antonio free reign to share with all of us. Obviously there was an "Aha" moment for Mr. Banderas having survived his heart attack as he himself admitted and experienced a transformation from the roots of his soul. I had a similar life event over 35 yrs. ago having survived an almost drowning at Galveston beach after falling off my surfboard got trapped in a rip current, struggling and panicing, inhaling sea water into my lungs then blacking out. I woke up face down on the beach nobody around except my buddy still waxing his board, but several hundred feet further from what seemed like a few minutes ago (It had been a week day and we both just took off to go surfing). I too was given my second chance but being a slow learner am still struggling to find out why. Thank God for His mercy and His plan for each of us.
