It's sounding like Kentmere 400 is just the low-fi film that I'm looking for. Good sold emulsion base and gritty grain when you want it. I only shoot 35mm film and sometimes I just want that textured grain look.

This is fantastic news for 120 shooters! Due to all the price increases the past few years I’ve switched over to using Kentmere films in 35mm and they’re brilliant in my view. Used a lot of 100 for a project I’ve been doing the past year and I’m well impressed. I ve also been pushing 400 to 800 & using that for Street stuff too and again I’m very happy. No way will I pay £12+ for a roll of Kodak Tri-X, not a chance the amount of film I get through! 😛
For 120 I’ve switched to Fomapan 100/200 in Rodinal 1:50 which I love but now we have Kentmere 120 I’ll have another film to switch it up with and feed my Super Ikonta. @@ShootFilmLikeaBoss Cheers Roger! Thanks for the vid! I only saw Yashica once haha but it confused me greatly when I did until I got to the end ;)

Yashica! Another great video, I actually really liked the seagull shot. Just a fun walk about shot, makes me want to get out to Lake Ontario tomorrow to shoot gulls. Inspiring.
    Cheers, Gord
