- In todays episode we take a journey to Vancouver to shoot the new Kentmere in 120!
I'll be going though and giving my thoughts on this film stock in the new glorious 120 size... and doing it in the freezing cold!!!!!! YAY!

Kpan 400 was already my favorite cheap 35mm B&W film, I'm definitely getting in 120 as well when possible. BTW, loved the music in the video, hehe

Photos look great man! I've been doing a lot of Kentmere 400 with a +2 Push. Kind of really into it! I haven't tried it in 120mm yet.

Hope you had a great xmas. Also, watched Jason's 3hr video and he said you suggested SLAPS and I was pumped to see that. Most people suggest q39, Arthurs ,gates or jack stack so it's good to see a hidden gem be suggested. I love how these photos came out! Love the pushed shots, the Orpheum shot is so good. 9:50 so good! Love that scene 11:00. One question, what hat is that? The one you have on for the talking head portions?!

Nice!!! I’m glad you enjoy the video! Actually, if you go back to the previous episode of mine, I talk about how to shoot flash and that is how I shot all those photos! Not to shameless, plug or anything 😆 to be honest, I go back to my own video all the time for flash lol

The lower the speed the more contrast
@@ericespinal9961 not necessarily. I find that porta 160 does not have much of a contrast advantage than Porta 800

@@BadFlashes Are Chinon film cameras good or not so great? did you ever try them? My kodak v435 from the antique mall ended up having winding issues, but the flash worked.

You should try Ilford PAN400, for some reason you only get it in Mexico, If you want I can sent you some rolls. Ilford Pan is like charcoal drawings. Love from Mexico!

B&W films look very different from each other. I can generally guess the film from an image assuming I'm familiar with the film. The contrast curves are all unique, but I think the main thing that gives them away are the spectral responses/color rendition, since any time someone uses a filter it throws me and I can no longer guess it.
