How Netflix Is About To DESTROY Narnia

- Since Netflix purchased the rights to the Narnia story back in 2018, we have been waiting to here any movement on if these films/series will go anywhere. Last year Greta Gerwig got slated to direct two Narnia projects after the success of her Barbie film. But some recent information seems to be indicating that Netflix is moving in the wrong direction for the story and they might be on track to completely destroying their Narnia project before even getting started.

They really should start with Magician’s Nephew it’s the prequel to it all.
That being said Silver Chair is one my favorite of the story with the mystery and suspense.
I can totally see Gerwig doing this but I really hope she doesn't. While I can see her doing this, I do not think this is the path that Netflix will follow. From the rumors and reports I've heard it sounds like a full on reboot. I am not a fan of "soft reboots", in that if they started with the Silver Chair it would be somewhat of a continuation of the previous movies but is not necessarily connected. While I am all in favor for publication order for the Chronicles, I would be the most excited to see the Magician's Nephew.
Same! Magician’s Nephew is where they should start! And get a different director.
Everything just sucks these days. We need new content cuz all the good existing stuff gets ruined.
Disney only did the first two movies, fox did the third.

As a huge Narnia fan and a big fan of Greta gerwig, I fully believe she's the right choice for the director of this project. As with starting with the Silver Chair - I'm on board! One of my favourites of the series and something we're yet to see a (decent) adaptation of. Also - a group of men starting their video hating on highlighting strong female characters..? Okay...
Babie was a piece of straight garbage. If you don’t see what their saying your blind. If she makes them like Little Women and not at ALL like Barbie it will be great. But she just made Barbie so it doesn’t look great.
