- 👉 In this video, we make a return to Nintendo Switch emulation but for the first time we will be exploring Sudachi for Android on the Anbernic RG556 (and RG Cube) powered by the UNISOC T820. The emulator is the spiritual successor to Yuzu and has already seen a few updates in the past few weeks. We will explore more than 30 additional games that are working well on the Anbernic RG556 and add to a list of playable games that we can enjoy with the Sudachi emulator.

@@retrotechdad why not >? i dont really see why all the hate for the 556 imo its the best hand held ever made even better then steam deck cause its cheaper lighter smaller more confrtrable last 10 x longer cuase battery life and anything u cant play nativley on it u can stream so they both play the same amount of games

Great tutorial! Although I cannot change the resolution (greyed out). Do you know what might be issue there?
Are you trying to change resolution when in-game? Unfortunately, you have to set it before playing. You can do a per-game setting by holding down on the game icon and then setting the desired resolution.
i got the rg556 and turn based genre fan,do you have few suggestion which switch turn based game rg556 can emulate
Without save states , it's difficult to pick up and carry on your games on the fly.
Hey! I'm following the same graphic resolution as you but can't seen to run the new Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. I've tried Suyu, Yuzu and now Sudachi... I did everything as in the video, even found out the specific files you didn't share for obvious reasons... is there something I'm missing? Dou you use a specific firmware/prod version? 18?
Is the game not launching at all? Which firmware are you using?
The game launches, I can click the L+R and the screen goes all black. I've tried with 17 and with 18...
Never owned a device like this one. Do you have to download and install all of the different emulators from online to play anything? Or does the 556 come with some preloaded already? I recently bought one of these as a gift for someone but now I'm thinking that this might be too technical for them to carry out. I did also buy a separate SD card with a ton of games on it already but now I'm a little worried if they can be played simply by inserting the SD card then jumping right in.
The SD card does includes games to play with but the card is pretty fragile.

Mobile exclusive for Apple, so we won’t see an Android port unfortunately. 😭 This usually happens when Apple locks down games for their Apple Arcade platform.

Is this current version of Sudachi better than the current version of Yuzu? Also is there a way to inject game updates and dlc in Sudachi for Android, similar to Yuzu for Android?
Great questions! It essentially picks up where Yuzu left off. Sudachi has added compatibility for newer releases like Paper Mario, Animal Well etc. but it doesn't invalidate the Yuzu releases. It's still worth experimenting if there are any differences between versions.
Game updates/DLC work the same way as in Yuzu! You can go into advanced settings and then add DLC/Updates there as well as toggle them on and off as needed.

Sudachi isn't accepting contributions and they explicitly mention it's a Nintendo Switch emulator, I don't see that repository/project lasting very long at all unfortunately. They have a big target on their head right now.
It's survived the longest of the forks so that's something at least! I think being low key is the way to go for them, which is the opposite of what Suyu was doing. 🤦♂️😅
@@retrotechdad True but that searchability/discoverability with explicitly advertising Nintendo Switch naming and also advertising Yuzu naming and relying on GitHub is playing a really risky game. I guess we will see what happens but I don't have high hopes lol

Yes, for sure! Compatibility is so much better with the Snapdragon and of course just more power under the hood. 🙏

Hey man someone pls reply my sudachi emulator is working perfectly just help me with 2 things.
1)How can i change aim sensitivity, i am playing zombie army 4 and the aim is terrible
2) How to save game progress from where i left
1 - Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity in the game itself?
2 - Sudachi doesn't have save states, so you have to rely on the game to save.
What about vita3k?

No one ever asks but curious where people like to get their roms? PB is meh, 1337 is ok too but lacks a good search for browsing or downloading huge packs of games. Anyone care to chime in some sites people might not know about?

If you want to pirate Switch games you can get a used Switch Lite and a MIG Switch for less than $200 and that will be much better than any Android emulation.
