As a motorcyclist, I often find myself taking shelter, as it were, in my helmet. Stopping and talking to those kids, I'm not sure I would do that. I am incredibly thankful that you chose to. You're showing us the human condition and that is the only way we'll ever make our huge world seem smaller. Also, I believe it was either Austin Vince or Spencer Conway (or I could be way off) that said (severe paraphrase) "Film through the tough times, it makes for great footage". You've certainly done that in spades as well. You have created appointment viewing with this series and I cannot wait for the next episiode!
This series is absolutely smashing it out of the park. A lot of emotions going on in this one. You have no doubt created a lifetime of great memories not only for yourself but all those you have met along the way. The best series yet id say. Ps #prayforkeith
Nice one Richie. I'm in Merzouga now. Laying in bed at the Berber Palace! Stayed with Al Habib last night too. He says hello 😂. Great place. Cheers. Jim. 👍🏻
Hi Richy, This trip just gets better and better - I'm in pieces watching it, absolutely awesome. MrsD is expecting me to go AWOL anytime soon!!! 😀 SteveD
He's left us on a cliffhanger! I can see the craigslist ad now "Free Africa Twin (pick up only, close to sahara)" ;) Looks beautiful again, absolutely stunning scenery.
Oh my….What an awesome tour this has been, I’ve been completely immersed in this adventure, I’ve had goosebumps on nearly everyone of these vids!! 23 days and counting before we also head off down to Merzouga, but ya know that already!!! Awesome buddy, just awesome❤️❤️❤️❤️
Quite the cliff hanger, I presume you survived. stuck in the middle of the desert. I say again I really enjoy your interaction with the people. more than the spectacular scenery. I was always torn between the pleasure of sharing an experience with someone and the often the better interaction and acceptance I would find exploring by myself. I found even in some of the poorest places I got best receptions.
Hi RIchy, I have been following your amazing trip to Morocco. What a fantastic time your are having. I was impressed with the sound of the horn that is on your bike, and was wondering what type it is. I have the same bike as yourself. The big AT seems to be enjoying the trip as well. Keep safe. Your are a brave man. I dropped mine the other day and needed help to lift it, although i am not very strong. This is great footage and I cannot wait to see the next one. Pray that you have got out safe and sound.
Ricky, my heart was in my mouth watching you going up that track 😬 I’m not an off road biker and that track would put the fear in me, the dirt roads are bad enough. Mind you, I live in Scotland and some of our roads aren’t much better at the moment 😂 Poor Keith stuck on that rock 😮 Looking forward to the next one 👍
Nailed it again, so looking forward to the next episode, and you're dead right about arriving exhausted after a tough day's riding butch itching for the next days adventure. 👍
The real Africa! Now you really have tried and tested it. Road conditions change really fast and you have to challenge both the bike’s and your own abilities. What an experience! 👏🏻🫡
That young lad understands that water means life in the desert. And his gesture could well have saved your life. Depending on how far you went in and if you broke down. He didn't know you but still did it.
I bet you can’t believe You Did That I would love to join you on that road on my KTM but definitely not alone you are certainly having a fantastic Adventure Richy, How will you ever top this Beautiful video 😊
It's awesome to see how kind people can be. As viewers we've noticed the genuine kindness from both berbers and british. Thanks for always delivering such amazing content!
Fantastic videos Richy. Really enjoyed it. Yep, once committed and grounded, sensible move to relax, have a drink, remove luggage and have a think. Looking forward to the next episode.Your mate with the VFR shouldn't go on your next Morroco trip! I'm sure the video camera doesn't show quite how technical and challenging that section was. Many thanks for all your hard work. Stuart
Hi Richy, another great video, you have certainly taken a very tough and strenuous bit of road/track. Good to watch and makes me glad I am a bit to old to go riding offroad. Bit of advice though concerning holding your hand up for a High 5, in some countries showing the palm of your hand like that is a gesture to keep back or get away from me. It is almost as bad as a 2 word phrase used in the UK with the second word being OFF. In some countries, you can cause serious offence by giving the thumbs up gesture. Got to be careful with different cultures. Looking forward to seeing how you get your bike unstuck on that seriously rocky section.
Another riveting episode Richy 👍. The poor kids scattered when you said about tv … wonder what they thought when you said it . The look of pride on the young lads face as he sat on your bike . I bet it’ll be his go to story for ages . Such a simple gesture can have a dramatic effect . Left it on a cliff hanger there ( litterally 🤣) It’s a daunting isn’t it being stuck, but you took your time and either didn’t panic or some good editing was done. Till the next one
Brother Congratulations for enjoying life and learning many things.. My name is Aristides Matzindiko.. I live in Tanzania 🇹🇿.. I want to do what you do my brother.. Please hold my hand and I can do like you in my life..
Hi Richy make the bike lighter when you get stuck I’m sure the effort will be 😅worth it when you get to the top, a great tense end to todays video , can’t wait for the next episode Regards Peter
Great series of films, really enjoying them. We did a similar tour September 2022, much hotter then, especially when we got to the Sahara at M'Hamid El Ghizlane. It's an utterly wonderful country, I will go back there sometime, meanwhile I'll enjoy it via UA-cam
Those kids will remember the funny talking English man they met for such a brief time for the rest of their lives most likely and you have a lasting memory of your trip and even when that memory fades for whatever reason it will last forever not only in the memories of your subscribers but but the digital world aswell
What a treat to watch this on yet another grey wet day in England. Your description of the long day touring but waking up to do it again has got me planning a trip. I’ve never travelled very far on a bike but will start with a trip around Wales and take it from there. Honda shout give you a new bike and sponsor you after this trip. An amazing add for the Africa Twin
Wow richy another great video the scenery is absolutely amazing looks like the surface of the moon our something looks forward to the next vlog keep safe.
Another brilliant video, thanks. And you left it on a cliffhanger, literally. You’ve even got me looking at used Africa Twins. That looked hard work at the end - proper adventuring 👍
Well Richy you had me on the edge of my seat How could anyone call that a road. You must have been panicking and sweating. What a place to end the episode. Guess I will have to wait till Sunday to find out how you get out of there.
That was a tester richy lad, I had to laugh, I would have been calling the bike like it was its fault, but that’s an adventure what you won’t forget 🤣🤣 great to watch, look forward to the next one 👍
I actually don’t know what to say. Apart from. What an awesome video. What an awesome place. And what great people. I think it is because of the ending where you became stuck. I’m so glad to didn’t get trapped under the bike. At least the bikes stuck. BUT THANKFULLY . You’re not under it. But then you have got the heat. I was gritting my teeth. Great video agin. Love it.. you know I’ve never been abroad. Once only But this.:l I think I’d love it:. But I don’t think I’d be able to do it on the two : How about the crf 300l ? And how much would I need on cash ? Think I already asked this 😂 Gonna leave you now. Hope to meet up on one of your local rides soon. God speed best of luck and lots of love to a great inspiration of a man… ……. 🤗 Can’t wait to see more.. 👍👍I’m not a believer in god.. But I’d like to say god bless to you 👍👍
I recognise the fuel station at 6 minutes, the shop behind is like an Aladdin's cave, tinned fruit after a week crossing the dunes from Bournadib to Erg Chebbi, off piste tasted like heaven. Google Earth is the way to go in Morocco when you can't use street view
10:49 I remember you saying on the US tour you actually preferred it when the guys from the US, who joined you every now and again, weren’t there so you could explore yourselves
This series is bloody brilliant. I've been so nervous to tour on my own but i think I'm gonna have to get some miles under my belt. Really well put together aswell, thanks for sharing your trip.
you got a lot to answer for Richy, first you got me going down to los Picos and now I need to go to Morroco as well, Geee! you're costing me a fortune LOL
At 9:34 , the van was driving on the left due to potholes. Most of the time, they are regular users of these roads. They know the road well, which is why they drive in the center or on the edges of the road when there's no one around.
Richy i have tried to help you in the past. In this situation go for the middle of the track. Get off the bike make it as light as possible. Use your feet to make a clear path. Your front wheel is your guide. Your back wheel is your traction.😀
Water can be the difference between life and death in the desert and parched parts of Morroco, the boy knew that. When he saw you stop, he took the opportunity to get it back to you. I bet it tasted all the sweeter for that when you swigged it down when you got stuck?
I am loving this tour so much! I haven't seen this much joy and positivity in too long. The beauty of the people and the place has stolen my heart! Literal tears of joy being shed. The boy that got his picture on your bike will definitely become a legend amongst his friends 😂 Very sweet moment ❤
@RichyVida I was wondering if you'd switched the camera off and swore very loudly as no one could hear you 😆. Determination and brute force usually works for me . Amazing vlogs pal 👍
Always nice to get back on the road. Did you know that the Arabic word for those dry river beds is 'wadi'? I think I know how you felt up on that lonely road when you were stuck. I had the same feeling when the fully loaded BMW R1200RT that I rented had fallen over in a farmer's field and I had to unload it in order to stand it up again. I was wondering, what was your plan for if you had fallen and gotten injured when you were way out away from civilization? Do you carry a emergency location device? Anyway, can't wait until the next video to see how you got yourself unstuck.
Simply astounding, Richy! What an experience for you and everyone you met. You're a great ambassador for our country. 👍🏻
Thank you so much 🤝

haha amazing! I did have to weigh-up options! haha
Amazing rapport being displayed here! Especially with the kids. DCT is beginning to intrigue me.
DCT is incredible. In every sense.
OOOhhhh proper cliffhanger. Kudos to your determination and skill on that track.
Love it Richy, the boy sitting on you bike, his life is changed for ever ❤
We don't always recognise adventures while they are happening, you must look back in amazement at this one!
Pulled in the desert, tugged the camel! Thats service, and entertaining! Delirious pal 😂

Hats off Richy you have one large pair of gonards to tackle that road especially on your jack Jones, brilliant 💪
I love that fact you stop to take it in, we didn’t go down as far as you, well done for bringing it to us.

You are the one who made those vidéos enjoyable, thx again for showing us the good parts of moccocan culture, y brave to ride on such difficult road.
Thank you

Squeaky bum time there. Nice to see you being so calm to figure out what to do. No panic, just steady away. Cracking adventure. 👍
