@@BrokenCircle1 It's a good game, but a little "buggy" towards the end. Looking forward to KCDII
Playing 4 vanilla only feels like a headache to me. not even talking upscaled textures/graphics, just so many dumb features in the game that I flat out remove.
Not only that, but also how guns are balanced along with health general leveling and especially legendary weapons are all balanced so poorly that's why I can't play fallout 4 without mods
I say that about all Bethesda games. The older ones just need some bug fixes and technical improvements, for the most part. Skyrim and Fallout 4 did a bunch of "streamlining" that I'm not a fan of, so I purposefully add a bunch of stuff to make the game(s) more challenging and enemies less bullet-spongey.
@@cameronroder7503 Agreed. Hardcore Health Overhaul is the mod I use for that. It removes health gained by level from the player and enemies, which takes away the extended time to kill problem that you're describing. It also changes armor to be more of a determining factor in the math, which effectively widens the difficulty gap between regular and boss enemies. Fair warning, it does make RadRoaches kind of ridiculous in the early game
@@Chedring I see what you mean. Never bothered me that much but fair enough.
@@Chedring Which features?

I need my fallout New Hampshire where the old man of the mountain never fell
Edit: here me out the fallout timeline diverges at the 1950’s and the old man on the mountain only fell in 2003 I can believe that they used some sort of technology that we don’t have to keep it up.
Im from NH and I even tried making one as a kid themed around Biker Gangs from Weirs Beach. Obviously it was way more than I could ever pull off at like 15 years old. But the dream never died.
@@The_Courier55 I'm sorry for your loss. But it's was a national treasure I guarantee it got a direct hit in fallout time-line.

i think maybe you are a little too impressed by this mod lol, i tried it myself and found it beautiful but very very empty and unfinished, i think it needs a lot of work, but it does have the basics down, but currently i find it very boring and i was able to find the clues and i listened to all the ques that the NPC's gave away, some of them were mere comedy relief like the wife who observed another man handling melons and suddenly thinking of that other man and cheating on her husband lol.
but there was no way to make that quest happen, all NPC dialogue is consisted of one liners, i fully expect the mod creator to add in more lines in the future or maybe make them all interactable instead of the way they are.
but right now it's a very beautiful place and it is nice to explore, it's just not filled with a whole lot of things to do, it's boring at the moment.
Looks boring as hell, with trees, a lot of trees
@@bittripper3530
as i said, it looks beautiful, but it's really boring and pretty barebones at the moment, but if the mod author sticks with it, he can turn it into something amazing.
most mod authors don't support the big projects unless they get a dedicated team backing them on the idea, but i don't think that will happen in this case.
@@5226-p1eI think WastelandJedi92 has taken control of the mod (least on Xbox) he's planning on updating the mod to be more like the cancelled Division Heartland. IE he was given permission to both port and modify the world space.

It's kinda disappointing we don't see many games set in America's less popular regions like the mid-west, north-west, new-england (excluding New York), etc. States like Idaho or Montana would make for very unique game locations.
NY isn't really New England at least not the parts of it we see in games.
NE is probably the most beautiful place I've ever been. Maine, NH, and Vermont are all amazing.
Would love a game in Maine
@@Audiotrocious the far harbor dlc is set in my beautiful state
Way, way better than yet another giant city (sorry, DC & Boston.)
i get what you folks are saying, but emptiness makes the game boring, it's what bethesda are being judged on for starfield because most planets are empty with very few POI's on most planets.
that concept can only bring beauty but not so much fun, i played this Vermont mod and it's very lacking at the moment, i suspect the mod author will add more things in the future, but for now it's extremely bare bones and boring, it's sure beautiful but it's not a whole lot of fun, i have found many clues and stuff like this, and i can get a sense of what it could be, but right now it's not quite there.
it sort of came off as something from one of the far cry games, but a hell of a lot more limited, i understand this is an RPG engine, so not a whole lot of driving will take place in this mod, although you could get that vehicle mod and drive in this landscape because the roads and everything is so smooth, anyway, my point is the mod isn't really there for me yet, but i could see people adding onto it and making it a lot better.
Fallout London is straight up a new game, with better quality then Fallout 4. Idk what are you talking about
Not really. London sucks
For real i have more hours on fallout london than fallout 4 judt because Vanilla fo4 is bland and boring once you experience mods but thats not the case with london at all

There's a mod I think you'll really like called The Wilderness by Zorkaz.
It's this really interesting worldspace where you also get the open wilderness without quest markers instead with a natural series of directions to explore. All the while an actually ominous presence (the curse of the lands) can appear and walk after you when you're exploring (it does play some music which alerts you to start being wary), putting you on this interesting edge as you travel across the land finding solace in the little safe places you find like a tiny waterfront dock to start.
Zorkaz has a good number of New Lands I really dig like that and Vermont, it's pretty cool to check them out.
I'm going to be cruel now, but everything from Zorkaz is better than this. He has very high quality new land mods that have a very good atmosphere.
Yeah theres a reason not many people are talking about this
Cheer Cheer the green (radioactive) mountaineer
it looks unfinished, like they just said "this is all intentional" and no one questioned it
Huh funny how one of the aspects you've praised the mod for doing (having to find clues for quests instead of getting a marker) is one of the reasons I didn't like Fallout London that much, sometimes it gives you some hard as hell fetch quests where you need to find a tiny ass item inside a huge dungeon with the only clue given to you that it's inside that forementioned dungeon, nothing else.
@xXDeiviDXx That wasn't the part of Fallout London that bothered me really.
You should try ‘The Wilderness’ by Zorkaz. It’s a pretty similar experience to that a albeit with a little more combat and unique game features.
Well, now that Vermont has their Fallout mod (good for them, btw. Love Vermont.), I'm hoping that someone, somewhere, could make a mod based on my home state of Connecticut, another Northeastern state.
Fingers crossed for that to happen 🤞🤞.

@@bioskim1822 It's not for everybody. I enjoy it. I find it relaxing. Thanks for watching.
I hear what you're saying about Fallout London - I finished a Camelot playthrough in about 120 hours. There are worldspaces that feel great in it but others just missing that fleshing out. I had more joy in the individual adventures than many of the intertwined ones or the main story.
I feel like everyone's "its better than Fallout 4" statements really minimize how it could use more fleshing out, though I think it comes off better than FO4's anti-roleplaying depiction of the Institute. It's not remotely clear why they're actually at odds with the general Commonwealth aside from habit and I really feel like the missing link there is the ability to convince them to dramatically change their ways and actually bond with the Minutemen and Diamond City against the Brotherhood's draconian "we deserve everything, no one else deserves pre-war tech" mentality.
It's straightforward why each faction in London are the way they are, at least, even if much more dialogue about it would make some sense.
Haven't really checked in with the 5th column to see if my thoughts hold up though.
I never understood the hate for Fallout 4. Sure NV is better but eh I like FO4 it's fun.
For more like this in Fallout 4 mods, you might like some of Zorkaz's new lands mods. Outside Fallout, try "Northern Journey". Mandalore has a good review of it.
I will die for my glorious state of Vermont
@@coop4 it is a beautiful state.
Looks pretty basic lmao
Vermonter here! Cool video
Thanks for watching. You live in a beautiful state!
It seems to go in the opposite perspective of that on a nuclear apocalypse though.
Yes, there were parts of the world not hit as hard as others. Mountain ranges being some, yes it's been 210+ years since the bombs fell, but that doesn't seem like an excuse to see such greeny foliage untainted by a world's radioactive wasteland.
Especially such as a quiet little town completely untouched by said apocalypse and it's insurmountable effects.
When you top it on with the mention of serenity, you're practically describing an oasis.
Before anyone mentions FO76, I completely discredit that game's existence.
To me that's not Fallout, just like how Vermont here doesn't seem like Fallout either.
Unless it's another G.E.C.K. situation, but then that would imply into complete and over-saturated spontaneous mutated foliage growth, not natural landscape growth.
So I don't think that's the case.
Looks interesting thanks for the video
It definitely looks interesting, albeit at times in the video I spotted some nasty repeating textures (solvable with other mods) or empty spaces in populated areas.
Good video I'll try Vermont for a bit you should look up a Minecraft mod called HBM nuclear tech mod because it adds a lot of things from the fallout games to Minecraft accurately and very detailed.

For me going into fallout Vermont wasn't nearly as much of a jarring jolt. Unlike you. Apparently I do run, in fact a lot of mods. I do believe the most accurate analogy is " a sh** ton of mods"
My loader is well over a thousand mods, this is not me bragging but trying to lay the landscape if you pardon the pun considering the topic, one of those mods and a bunch of support mods for it is called a forest. The author, Deathbykitty dropped this mod some years ago and I've been using it ever since. It transforms the Commonwealth into a Boreal forest.
So like I said, going into Vermont was not nearly as much of a shock for me as it is for people going from vanilla wasteland to this. But you're right, it is a hell of a thing to see
I also got back into FO4 through London, but bounced off of it for similar reasons. Very impressive effort, but frustratingly designed. Vermont looks cool, downloading it now.
Can't relate even a little bit RE: mods, though. My current FO4 mod list has 322 right now. I've been hooked since Morrowind. Get Mod Organizer if you're new to modding. It'll take a bit to learn, but you'll save yourself tons of time in the future.

Im not even the biggest fan of London and your comparison was a little insulting to them.
