I made five, and no hummingbird went near them. In fact, the wasp made a huge nest in all five of mine. These do not work for hummingbirds unfortunately.

That’s a really neat looking bird house. Not sure if hummingbirds nest in man made nesting boxes, but I can see a wren or a chickadee would absolutely love it! If anyone has made this & had a hummingbird nest in it, please let me know.

I have only seen nests in the open, crook of a tree branch or some kind of sheltered platform. We received three as a gift and am also curious to see if they use them.

They will never use it. Humming birds do not nest in boxes.

I had a small hummingbird sized house for years near a feeder and they never nested in it. I’ve never heard of a hummingbird going in a birdhouse.

Hummingbirds DO NOT use nesting boxes unfortunately.
