my favourite player - thank you for the analysis. I hope Cameron wins more tournaments going forwards, it seems like he's been tinkering and over-analysing his game too much the last couple of years and not playing his 'natural' game with self-belief and killer-instinct like he was 2018-2019. He's ridiculously gifted.

Hey Craig, excellent analysis! Cameron's from our town and I'm a fan. Recently I was watching videos of his and Tiger's swings and noticed that low chest through rotation with the irons. I started integrating it into my swing and have been playing a different type of game ever since.

Just gonna have to disagree with you on one thing. Champ and Tiger have pretty similar conditions with the lowering towards the ball and all, but Tiger definitely does not have a shallow plane on his swing.
The reason he can get that rotation is the sheer amount of lag he creates - gives himself tonnes of time to rotate through before the club impacts the ball. Fantastic swing.
Other way around lol, rotation gives u lag, that’s why people fail to get lag, is the misunderstanding of what lag is. Lag is lower body separating from the upper one

If so, 350 carry with a fade is just ridiculous!! 😳🤯
Wobbly Bob 2650 is tour average so it’s good 👍..but a fade has more yes

He hits down on the ball, that's why. Averages like 2 degrees down with his driver or something. Just means he could hit it even further if he tried to change that and maximize spin loft.
What height camera angle do you think works best for swing analysis? e.g. head height DTL, waist height face on etc?

I teach pros that have played with him many times and they say he hits the ball like a bullet and at unbelievable distances.
But Casey Webb! The keyboard warrior just writes - Mickelsons a terrible driver of the ball 🙈🙈

@@CraigHansonGolf When I watched Phil tee off on number 1 at last years US Open it was like seeing a man among boys. He hits the ball a ton. I'd like to be "terrible" like that.

@@CraigHansonGolf probably the only pro who steepens the driver in transition. Yeah not terrible ha but thought it was an odd choice to compare a great driver of the golf ball c champ to Mickelson the weak spot of his game. Would like to see what those positions look like from behind instead of face on
Casey Webb - the comparison was about lag. Because nobody has anymore than those 2 players on tour. Thats why I took the picture of the thumbnail on the video. It’s the whole idea of the front on view.
If I was going to analyse it from DTL I would I’ve chosen another player and video.
