I guess it's true, seen one mall you seen them all. Most of the stores there are same here in the west. Malls are becoming like dinosaurs. Thanks for sharing.
Hi @nobody's fool almost agree to that. But if you'll see the Mall of Asia, theres a lot more to life outside the main mall. Activities on the ground, and the Bay view on the side with other activities too 😊
Hi @Prairie Back dont worry we dont go to diagon alley 😂 some of the doors are actually leading to another mall aside from this one. There are 3 malls in this area connected to one another
@@manilagirltours8940 Oh! Thank you for explaining the Malls being connected and that makes sense. The contrast of that Mall and the alley's you walk thru are so different of course. I really like the alley's and the people living there the most I think. So real. Thanks 😘
Hi @Adventures with Beng! right! I have not yet seen if Dads has opened after the pandemic 🤔 but surely Kenny Rogers is open. The famous buffet around the mall at this time if Buffet 101 located on the topmost floor
Makati a grand city with grand mall. Manila Girl the best thing of you is that you experience us various types of blogs from down to earth streets and markets to high level places. Thanks Salamat po.🙏❤
I'm not a huge lover of shopping malls. I much prefer to see bustling market places. But i must admit that after the last couple of years of shops being closed, Lockdowns & deserted streets in many places around the world. It is still good to see shops open again nowadays, & recovery taking place. Even though shops are still no where near as busy as they were before the virus arrived, i do hope that they can all manage to stay in business. Thank you so much for bringing this tour to your viewers. I do hope that maybe you found time for a little retail therapy for yourself 🚶🏻♀️ 🛍🛍🛍. Happy walking Manila Girl 🇬🇧 💙 🇵🇭
Hi @Stephen Andrews dont worry theres always the "me time" after the vlog 😅 yes, thats why i want to show this to the people, because this pandemic has gave a big impact in these businesses in the past few months. Glad its starting to be normal again
Hi @fredy mabal it is really different how the malls in the Philippines combine the variety of food, clothing, entertainment, and home needs in one place. Unlike that of other countries, it's huge.
That's a very nice, clean, and modern mall MGT. I just hope Shoppee, Lazada, and other large online e-commerce does not eradicate your beautiful malls. Here malls are dying due to Amazon, Ebay, and other large online sellers. Enjoyed the tour, as always. Thanks.
Hi @Tim Bartels i think they still wont. Lots of people still love interactions with their family, friends. Also, there are some bogus shops online thats why sometimes i still love the mall somehow
Eradicate??? Nahhh!!! "Pinoys" still love going to the Big Malls like this, hands-on shopping unlike online and lots of walking exercises, plus the AC, the best😝😝😜!!!✌✌✌.
That's a real nice mall,how many floors does it have?It looks so big on the video,but I guess like all the malls,things are probaly a little more expensive there.I noticed it isn't too crowded there,covid?I'am not a foodie,but I can't pass up a candy,or bakery store😜nice video,thanks
Hi @david liles i think there are 4 floors, and it is connected to 2 other more malls 😅 i think you can't get crowded here because it is really a big place. It only gets a little crowded but not much during holidays where families gather, and when Christmas season or New Year is near 😅
back then, it was not even called a mall, it was just "Glorietta". It was connected to Quad 1,2,3 and 4. Quad is a four movie theater complex. I think they reitred the "Quad" label.
Guys! FYI : "GLORIETTA" is formerlly "QUAD" itself!!! WATCHED IT IN KAUA-camRO's "NOON at NGAYON"!!! he!he!he!😜😜😝. watching from Canada "Pinoycanadian❤!!!".
Quite a contrast with the slum areas. Everyone in the mall looks nice but subdued and distracted with shopping, phones etc. People in the slums, especially children, look more vibrant and happy. Odd how that is.
Hi @L Walters its the technology ruining socializations. People forgot how interaction is much better than holding your cellphone in a vacation, in a meeting, ina gathering.
@@manilagirltours8940 It seems counterintuitive, technology to keep us connected actually keeps people apart. The wife and I were at a restaurant on Mother's Day several years ago. A man and wife at the table next to ours were both on their phones, and hardly ever looked up at one another. Very strange, we thought. Blessings to you and your fine work.
