I've lived here since 2011 and the good days are long gone. The advantages of this country - healthcare, low cost of living, low rent and above all safety are now all pretty much over. There are just too many people and too few opportunities, which is what the various government parties seem to have wanted. Hi Max, this video is very informative and educative. Thanks. Can you make a video on insurance in germany, especially for international students/ immigrants?
IMO, 42% tax above 300k makes more sense. Taxing 42% for people making 68.4k is a huge percentage. Less people who can accrued funding to risk and bootstrap their dream business means lower the chances of more successful German found companies to hire more local people for more local development. All the tax policy over the decades has been about keeping the pension a float and only that.
@ Taxing above 68k is not enough in 2025 and forward with inflation, rising rent, and cost for the statutory health insurance, especially if a nation wants to encourage innovations and business development in all areas. Long-term vision is needed along with the understanding of the limit on general tax payer driven nation growth, the aging population vs tech innovation trajectory.
Good evening! I have found your chanel just now and I must say, I am so proud of you because you are so young, talented, smart. I hope, my son, who is 10 years old right now, is going to turn out to be the same one day :) What I wanted to high light here is, that yes, cool, more skilled ppl are allowed to come to Germany from the putside of the EU, will be easier the process, but trust me, we have many many skilled ppl here also from the EU, like myself and I had to just give up and start a new type of life, new carrier, find an other school and I am 41 years old. I am professional social helper as my degree says, I am from Hungary, I also speak English and German and this process to let your degree to be accepted is just terrible. I live not so far from Bamberg and I should travel to München 3 times a week at least a year long to extra study for this process, meanwhile I am a full time worker and a mother. I should pay a lot, travel a lot, everything takes time etc so I gave it up. We have many skilled workers here whom have no chance to work on a level where they actually are. The higher health insurance I don't mind if the service will get better, like I can have appoitment easier.
Greetings from a german. First of all good Video and nicely done content! For a future video you should have an eye on the february elections coming up. Even you are not allowed to vote its good to know what can possibly happen.
1. The immediate transfer is going to be free only from October 2025. From January, banks must offer it - but it doesn't have to be for free. 2. The 30% tax break is like the dertigpercentregeling in the Netherlands. Expats could be taxed only on 70% of their salary, because they are not supposed to stay in Germany forever and get pension. In addition, all their rights (unemployment, etc) are going to be only on 70% of their salary. So if you get unemployment benefits which are 70% of your salary, you'll get only 70% of the 70% of your salary, so just 49% of your salary. Also your pension rights are going to be deducted.
Could you also make a video about the following : 1. Current political situation in Germany and how it may affect immigration ? 2. What will be the possible changes to the skilled immigration policy if CDU/CSU, wins the national elections this year ? 3. Could you also talk about the rising Anti immigrant sentiment in Germany ? Because these are some important topics that future migrants as well as current immigrants who are already living in Germany should know about
I will tell you what the german political situation, the left is doing the impossible to not let the ADF win the election even the comunist eruropean socialist union want to interfere with the german election, its insane what happening the super double standard from the european union is pathetic.
There is no anti-immigrant sentiment, it's mostly that we Germans don't want foreigners to commit violence and live in safety and not be scared that our children or women or elderly people get attacked by foreigners. This is the effect of illegal immigration of primitive cultures who can't live in a civilized society. That's the only issue. We don't have any problems with people from Japan, Vietnam, Europe, Indians or America. It's a particular culture from a primitive region of the world who cause the same issues in Scandinavia and other European Countries and we as Germans have the right to stop the invasion of people who literally hate us and our values. Other then that everyone who is willing to integrate and not live by our benefit system is welcome. I think this should be actually common sense at least in civilized societies. Btw my Grandparents came also a immigrants in the 60s and have been productive members of our society and forced their kids to BE german and not live in a parallel ghetto society.
Hi brother your videos are really helpful and this one I didn't even know was happening. Also can you cover the current political status of the country ? Facts like if it is a risk to come to Germany in the current status of the country and what not ? Thannk you again
You forgot to mention the property tax reform. Which will hit hard most of the property owners. Because finanzamt is allowed to evaluate your property value without even seeing it. And in some regions it's almost impossible to argue their decision because they do not accept professional evaluation.

Hi, great video thank you so much. Could you make a video about tax returns? It feels very complicated how to fill accurate information because there are tons of things they ask.
It's like always, mostly useless. They tell everyone in the news how mothers will get 10 Euro more Kindergeld, and everyone thinks wow how nice. But they will at the same time order another authority office to take 10 Euros away from for example Kindesunterhalt. But still everyone thinks wow they give mothers 10 euros more
The Germans love organizing. Presently, it is a shell game as to who will pay for the services. Management has costs, which will be very dynamic as the political temperature increases.
Running public transport isn't cheap because we aren't subsidising the hell out of it like we're doing with literally anything that produces more greenhouse gases ☺️

They give 13/14salary.and health insurance. Health cover is for free. Amazing coutry, actually derman ppl migrate to Austria, they font like to live in Germany. 🎉🎉🎉
meanwhile in madrid the public transport fee is 8-10 euros for people under 30. and the transport is decent. nocturnal busses circulate for a proper amount of time...
Yeah the unlittimited travel was never a problem for students, cause they had it bevor for my uni it was 300 euro (for the semester 6 months)around and had every public transport to ic in it.

Now I wonder, how and why a non-EU citizen can do it faster and easier? Happy New Year!!

lol, German providers will finally face some real concurency. And oh my good german banking will work on weekends as for example in Ukraine which is in war. Hope banks in Germany will also provide a better UX in their mobile and web apps.
Quick question about the tax-free allowance in Germany: Is it applied monthly (e.g., €12,000 tax-free allowance divided into €1,000 per month), or is it applied cumulatively? For example, if someone earns €2,000 per month, do the first 6 months' salaries remain tax-free until the €12,000 is reached, or is the tax-free allowance spread evenly across all monthly earnings? Also, does the tax for each month calculate the yearly gross salary based only on that month's income? For instance, if you earn €3,000 in one month, does the system assume an annual salary of €36,000 (€3,000 × 12) just for that month’s tax calculation?
@@effyelvira This isn't relevant to the OP but I just noticed that now I can recognize small German things when writing in English. Lose the burnt-in subtitles. There’s already a subtitles feature on UA-cam. I want to be able to turn them off.
I got in Germany about two months ago, and I am really liking how down to Earth some of these legislations are. They seem to really care about the wellness of the population, or so is my first impression.
i was particularly excited about the free instant transfer part 🤩🤩
Thank you so much
That sounds so good that I'm thinking about returning to Germany 🤔
Better title idea: Germany changelog reveals massive balance changes (all in favor of its player-base)!😱😭
good one 😂
Hi, great video thank you so much. Could you make a video about tax returns? It feels very complicated how to fill accurate information because there are tons of things they ask.
I'm German. Thanks for the information!
:D
It's like always, mostly useless. They tell everyone in the news how mothers will get 10 Euro more Kindergeld, and everyone thinks wow how nice. But they will at the same time order another authority office to take 10 Euros away from for example Kindesunterhalt. But still everyone thinks wow they give mothers 10 euros more
Well, unfortunately there's plenty of fools in this country that don't do any research beyond reading headlines they walk past.
Wow a lot of good news, actually! Too bad about TK though, I was considering switching over to them, not anymore though.
Nice and to the information without wasting time.
Are you going to make B1 Speedy German course
Yes, it is already in preparation :)
The Germans love organizing. Presently, it is a shell game as to who will pay for the services. Management has costs, which will be very dynamic as the political temperature increases.
I am in class 10 and I am searching for a country to study abroad, your video helps me great
Thank you
Running public transport isn't cheap because we aren't subsidising the hell out of it like we're doing with literally anything that produces more greenhouse gases ☺️
I recommend live life in Austria, they suport ppl with learning German language for free, here are many institutions. they suport you in full of education, full education, you hear me good, for free. After done few year of working you can have very very cheap home for 500e. public tragic card cost 32e for adult ppl, young and kids for 25,for families for 4ppl cost 38e/monthly. They give 13/14salary.and health insurance. Health cover is for free. Amazing coutry, actually derman ppl migrate to Austria, they font like to live in Germany. 🎉🎉🎉
What about dentistry it's also for free?
🌺good job🌺
🤗Thank you and a happy😄 healthy🍀 and wealthy🧧 New Year🎊 to everyone🤗
meanwhile in madrid the public transport fee is 8-10 euros for people under 30. and the transport is decent. nocturnal busses circulate for a proper amount of time...
Comparison makes 0 sense since you can travel through whole germany with the Deutschlandticket and not only one city.
@@UpperMoon95 it makes zero sense because it wasnt a comparison :)
@@UpperMoon95In luxemburg regional, bus and Metro is a free service for the entire country, Germany should be ashamed of being inferior
@@OND0 😂😂😂
I am going to apply this year for a master's degree in Germany. Thanks for the updates 👍
Yeah the unlittimited travel was never a problem for students, cause they had it bevor for my uni it was 300 euro (for the semester 6 months)around and had every public transport to ic in it.
Hey! That skilled immigration act seems to be just a cover for something else...maybe I am wrong. I've been personally trying to move to Germany for the past few year, from a EU country with almost 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and so far was impossible, no interest. Now I wonder, how and why a non-EU citizen can do it faster and easier? Happy New Year!!
It sounds like they want to fill certain positions- maybe health care? hence the no degree needed.
At some universities the Deutschland ticket is free/included in the Semesterbeitrag :O)
Why are healthcare/insurance companies raising their rates?
These changes will be automatically applied to ones salary, or need to fill tons of papers, and send them out to various ministries to get the benefits?
lol, German providers will finally face some real concurency. And oh my good german banking will work on weekends as for example in Ukraine which is in war. Hope banks in Germany will also provide a better UX in their mobile and web apps.
Yeah, cancelling my internet provider is a huge win, I can not pay for good service, but I don't have to pay for bad service. Yay!
Could you emphasize more on new blue card requirements?
thanks bro
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE CAN I SEE THE TAX BREAK FOR SKILLED WORKERS THING????? 🗣🗣🙏
It's cumulative. When i get paid i get a monthly slip with the cumulative amount in the year. So i control it that way.
@@effyelvira This isn't relevant to the OP but I just noticed that now I can recognize small German things when writing in English. For example, translating "kontrollieren" as "controlling" when a better translation would be "checking". Not that I'm criticizing you. On the contrary, I find it kind of cute lol
@@feynstein1004 I made the mistake from using Spanish 🤣
@@effyelvira Oh. My bad 😅 I still find it cute tho 🙂

I live in Germany since 2018 and have a PR. Is there a way to bring my parents who I need to take care of to live with me in Germany?
Why don't they make car parking more expensive??
