Bad ass!!!
I like how you guys put the after market gages in the stock location very nice job on the instrument panel my brother did that in his 83 Mustang GT. You also did a nice job on the CD player.
We did the transmission kit, but the customer did all the other mods himself. He does have a very nice car!
Man I’d love to have that car!!👍👍
My dad and I were just talking about putting a T56 or TKO into our 1970 Torino fastback...great timing
Awesome! We're glad to help when you're ready! 888-609-0070
I want one in a 64 Galaxie with a 428 in front of it 💪😎
Team Dumpy Approved!!!!
If my memory serves me right, the bulk of the Fairlanes and Torinos would have Cruiseomatic!
Will it keep up with that blue and white grandma Nova?
Video of the build process? Interested in the floor modifications needed to make it fit
I don't think we taped this installation, however, we do have our installation manual on our website and it has plenty of photos of the floor mods. shiftsst.com/pub/media/wysiwyg/pdfs/2019June/MAF-10500_FORD_TORINO_1970-_71_MAGNUM_Installation_Manual_RevC.pdf
boy, something like this sure would have been nice yrs ago, my Road Runner was 4/spd with 3.91 gears, buzzed over 3100RPM's @60mph and over 5000RPM @90mph with stock size tires, made cross country car shows (mopar nationals) a very tiring drive.
We make these kits just for people like you, who want to drive, but the noise and wear and tear on your engine just sucks all the joy out of it. Tell your friends we can fix them up! We want to see these great cars back where they belong, on the road!
Is there any way you guys could make up a t56 magnum kit for the 69-72 ford custom, galaxie, LTD. Im wanting to put one in my 71 with bbf 460.
We do have a kit for your car! Call 888-609-0070 or fill out a quick quote to learn more and get a quote: shiftsst.com/quick-quote/
Is a brougham a vinyl top car?
Did you convert your steering system to electric from the original hydraulic?
And were there any other modifications?
We only swapped out the transmission. We didn't do anything to the steering or anything else.
Is it possible to put this in a 70 Mercury Cyclone and still utilize the factory 4 speed center console?
You can! Call us for a quote! 888-609-0070
What motor? Appears to be a small block or Cleveland.
351W, about 400 hp
What was the rearend ratio and the tire height? How do you calibrate the speedo?
I don't remember what his rear axle ratio or tire height was, but when you get a quote, we ask you those questions and use a formula to determine which speedo gear you should get. If you're traveling 60 mph, the speedo gears go up or down in increments of 4-5 mph with each tooth change so a mechanical speedo gear can get you close. If you want to use an electronic speedometer, that can be very accurate and the TREMEC can accept it, but you'll need to contact the manufacturer to get instructions on how to calibrate it.
We use this formula to calculate mechanical gears:
Driven Gear Teeth = (Drive gear Teeth x Axle Ratio x Tire Revolutions per mile)/1000
How about a kit for the 66 Galaxie? I’m in the market for one to put in my Country Sedan.

What was the gear ratio on the rear end.
Ford 8" with a 3.40
I now understand why so many manuals and automatics have 6 or more gears.
What would one of these kits cost?
These kits are completely custom. Give us a call and we'll go over all the details with you about your car and put an estimate together of the parts you need and take out the parts you don't need. 888-609-0070
