my problem with producing is sound selection but not like the preset end thing with me is once i have a melody i dont know what instrument to add next like if i start with a piano what should i add next a flute? a harp? violin? etc i need to know what instruments go together i find my self using the same instruments over and over is there any chart or guide for what sounds good together ? pls help
That’s where intuition comes into play. You need to have direction. Don’t let Jesus take the wheel and just go with whatever comes next. Create a plan in your head, maybe an idea or direction and trust your intuition. I used to struggle with this whenever I’d try to make a random beat but you gotta tell yourself, “I’m making a ____ type beat therefore this song needs _____” this will create much more skill for you
Hey bro! New to the channel and I love them already! But can you just turn up the voice, I know you talk soft but some beats are too loud in correspondence to your voice, hard to keep control of from the other side of the room...
yea if all your stuff is leveled right you shouldn't need much. ill use a soft clipper, limiter or a compressor to control everything if I need to thats really it
@@gastarbeiter8384 I use them to control the dynamics of the melodies and add warmth to the whole sample. my bad for not explaining it super clear i just be tryna reply quickly lol

What do you usually put in your master when your making melodies.Becuase I'm struggling.😅😅😅
It starts with having the correct levels for everything first.
yea if all your stuff is leveled right you shouldn't need much. ill use a soft clipper, limiter or a compressor to control everything if I need to thats really it
Of course u will process every sound by its own, now in the master idk... I would only use a limiter/compressor
Zens and what does your clipper or limiter do in terms of making melodies? Yea right > nothing. If y’all dont got right answers than why y’all talking
