Another tip us to add loops at the tail end eith crossfades to create a longer sustain. Does ghost hack make good sanple pack? They have three ambient packs for under 20 on sale but I've never used there samples. Ill check your link too!
2:55 i usually stretch then add e3 generic monstly samples who are stereo, and e3 mono for them who are mono. Give it a bit better quality after the stretch
When you load the plugin for the first time from the Plugin Manager, double click the plugin and click the star so it'll show up. Also on the left hand side there should be a properties screen. You can set the type of plugin there and it'll show up under that category. But star-ing it should get it to show up regardless
