Man, i was watching one of your other videos on the winch connectors and you mentioned motorcycles. Anyway, decide to check out your other videos and see that you ride a Rally 300. Ive got the same bike. Love it. Ive had a bunch of bikes last 35 yrs, most dual sports, and the Rally is my current favorite...except the suspension. I could go on but you get the idea. I'm heading to Alaska in May and kinda thinking of having the reciever winch. Im taking both the Rally 300 and my quad up with me.
Thank you for the views! I loved the 300L Rally but I needed a bike that can maintain 80mph. I've recently switched bikes to a 2001 VFR800. I'm very excited to start riding it this year.
@accountant_mechanic_ . You sold the Rally! Gonna miss it! Lol. But yeah, I understand. I also have an 06 Goldwing that's a cream puff. I bought it to flip it but after riding it turns out I really like it so gonna keep it. Best of both worlds.
@@matthewhoopes4440 I've always loved the GW. I had an idea many years ago to get one and do a cafe conversion. I had a CB750C Cafe and I loved riding it. We'll see what the future holds!
I am considering MotoX exhaust and have Outback Motortek crash bars so this is excellent information and thanks for the effort in providing the details. The Outback Motortek crash bars that I purchased in September of 2022 don’t have the extra bracing yours have. So I suspect I would be good with the MotoX exhaust install? I noticed at 7:11 you have an additional bracket on the centre bar that goes around the frame down-tube on the bike that I don’t on my version of the crash bars. I have seen posts showing the crash bars bending on a drop, I suspect the newer ones have been updated with additional bracing to prevent this.
Hi Justin, I have a Yoshi full pipe on my '21 300 Rally. The guy at Outback Motortek just now told me that I would have this same issue unless I had only switched out the end of the exhaust and kept the stock header pipe. He got pissed and hung up in fact when I asked if they were going to do some redesign or keep head in sand given the fact that so many owners are changing out the full pipes. They have a very narrow-minded approach IMO only recommending that I use the stock header pipe so they do not have to work a little harder and design something that works for all especially given the price. He recommended I not modify the bracket because..... "it would void the warranty and I would be upset if something happened" . No I would not. I understand that a modification would all be on me, I explained. I was probably going to buy and modify until he hung up. This is the sort of thin-skinned folks Outback is apparently. Anyway, did you install a fill Yoshi pipe starting at the cylinder with no problems? I tried to determine from several videos and it looked very tight if not impossible without this mod to the bracket, thus is why I called Outback.
@@ybbGold no, I was in the evaluation phase so I steered clear of Outback Motortek’s bars. I just received a set of GP Kompozit bars so I’ll know soon how those fit. They appear well made and appear to guard the motor where as the Outback’s don’t.
Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video 🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸 What manufacturer is your side bags and are these tires ( street tires?) Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos.
Hello! Thank you for the comment! You can find the side bags here: amzn.to/432P9L1 The tires are street legal Shinko 705. They're a 70/30 dual sport tire
I wonder if there is a list of aftermarket exhaust that fit with these crash bars? I was going to order these but they were sold out and I definitely want to install a Yoshi exhaust in the future
... I have the crash bars and I just got the Yoshimura RS4 full exhaust plus other things. I will take note of the stock and Yoshi header pipes and compare them plus see if the crash bar has that gusset welded there. . Jeff .

@@240LTS ok thanks sounds good 👍 lmk
You can call Outback Motortek and ask if they have recommendations!
Good job
Thanks
How is the crash bar holding up? Protecting the bike from drops?
Did great the one time I went down (
Good to know 👍
Thanks for the comment!
Not a wonder what riding you can do with those tires lol!!
Shinko 705!
Are the bars wrong or is your exhaust wrong. That’s the question
The bars are fine
Why the „L” in the title if it is a Rally?

Thanks for the clarification!
Your problem with after market parts not fitting seamlessly is with the aftermarket parts manufacturer! Not Honda!!
