- Star Wars has gone through a few ups and downs over the years. It always seems to bounce back. Star Wars today however is going to have a large bounce to make. Shows like The Acolyte, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett and later Mandalorian episodes have destroyed the brand and fractured the fan base. We talk about the good and the bad of Star Wars over its lifetime.

The first time I saw the original Star Wars was in the theater in 1977. I was 8 years old at the time. It was definitely like nothing else that was out at that time. I saw it a few times, and it stayed in the theaters for over a year into the Summer of 1978.
27:25 'Droids' and 'Ewoks' were 1985 Star Wars animated TV series done by Nelvana Ltd. in Toronto, Canada and in fact, Nelvana Ltd. was the same studio that did the animated cartoon in 'The Star Wars Holiday Special' in 1978 which introduced Boba Fett as a cool new villain.
In fact, the dent in Boba Fett's helmet was not originally George Lucas' idea, but was a design idea by a character designer at Nelvana Ltd. for 'The Star Wars Holiday Special' cartoon to give Boba Fett's costume some rugged lived-in history and George liked the idea so much that the helmet was modified for 'The Empire Strikes Back' to have that forehead dent included.
So, you can thank Nelvana Ltd. and Canada for that helmet dent. Haha! :)
