like the disign and everything knife is great but i have a little tip when you make the wet for stamping do that on the hole peace so you dont end up with discoloration
Amazing work man! Makes me want to go outside and start hammering! I really need to build me a gasforge, my coal one is very difficult to handle. Could you show us your forge a little better, so that I can rebuild it? Edit: Oh, sry I now saw that you already made a video about it.😃
I highly recommeng using coal forge , gas forge is not very versatile forge, coal can heat up both small thin things like knives and 6 lbs billets and still focus heat on one spot so you do not overheat knife tip, that happens very often in gas.
Matěj Škovrán I am just starting blacksmithing and I am not very experienced, but it happens to me with nearly every project, that the material gets too hot. Also it produces a lot of nasty smoke from time to time...
Freizeitflugsphäre that is just a matter of learning how to work with the fire😀 i know it is very hard, I ve burnt quite a few nice peaces, but after that using the gas forge is just super easy, but if you start with the gas, you will have big trouble adapting to coal again and trust me, coal is much better is you know your fire, because it heats up the material MUCH more quickly, if you have trouble with smoke just try pure coke, it is smokeless.
it's a good looking knife, but if i was the one making it, i would get stuck on that gap between the handle and the tang. My OCD would not allow for that gap to exist and i would have spent a lot more time filing it (probablly hours or days) to make it slick. But hey, you did the entire process from steel, to handle to sheeth, which is not bad. good work.
Those layers really look amazing.
Very good, your cases get better every time you make them!
Another beautiful piece of art.

fantastic job. hi from Portugal.
Is there a kit or set of leather tools you would recommend? Those different punches and scrapers look like they make leather work a lot easier.

Adding some spacer would be quite easy and for sure improved final look.
