Many of you have been asking how I created my S22's android home screen, so here's a little setup tutorial!
Wallpaper: I couldn't find an online link, but if you download the Walli 4k app and search "rainbow waves" you'll find it.

well detailed review. and im a minimalist myself. i switched up lots of my homescreen so many times for it to be minimal but i always ended up going back to a simple plain 7x4 icons the same as the ios launcher.
I just came to leave a thank you comment. I discovered Folder Widgets in this video and I just love it. Bought the paid version and I just love it. It transformed my home screen and not only.
Just when I get a setup I like...something comes along like this and I start changing things again 😆
Is there away in the folder app to lock accidental touches to the folder so that it doesn’t bring up the folders app settings? I noticed that if you touch anywhere other then the icon within the folder it just brings up the setting for the folder which I could annoying. Just wondering if there is any lockout feature in the premium version.
How can you modify your notifications so it's in sequential order where the newest notifications are on top?
Is there a way to take that bottom part off of the hone screen? Where he put the phone, messages and google apps

What’s the light in the background called?
You can do this and much more with kwgt, it may take a bit more work, but you have more options to customize. If you want just this one particular look, then folder widget is for you, just giving options.

What homescreen grid size are you using here.
I use a lot of Microsoft services so I use Microsoft Launcher on my Pixel. Which also allows me to use different icon packs.

What is Folder Widget App Name ?
Do the apps within the folders launch on first touch, or do you have to double tap? That has always been my biggest issue with folders - they felt like an extra step between me and the app!

I personaly like to have as least things on homescreen as possible. My homescreen contains only wallpaper, weather gadget with clock and three icons (phone, contacts and messages).

What clock widget is that you have at the top of screen?
It's the At a Glance widget under google. He mentions it very quickly.
This doesn't work on Huawei I think. When I tweak the settings it just ends up looking totally different

does it drain battery faster if you use the 120hz ? or its the same as the standard ?
I have mine the regular S22, THB the battery doesn't seem like much different if using 120hz vs 60hz because with adaptive refresh rate it can go down to 24hz when I don't touch the screen, like watching video or reading text/news

love the setup.....Its funny how the thing you love the most can be so ugly to someone else....i did this really cool nice setup ,so me thinking someone might be impressed, i got a bullet to the head...she was like why would you do that to your phone..then another ,a guy was like its cool but not my type..i was like really.. day killed...

If you want to go minimalist, Niagara Launcher is the way to go.

People should look into niagara launcher for a cool minimalist vibe. That with fluid simulation wallpaper is pretty hard to beat.
Like iv never had someone look at my phone and not comment how cool it looked.
Try Microsoft launcher
The issue is that gesture navigation BLOWS in anything but OneUi in a Samsung phone, and I use Samsung Pay, the shortcut for it doesn't work well with other launchers...

One ui is such an underrated launcher. It's actually pretty good specially with home up module.
yep, it's actually the best android OS currently. every other OS is buggy or sluggish, it's almost as if the tables have turned compared to 2014
If you got a Xiaomi phone folder customisation is next level, bun on the Samsung device you have to rely on 3rd party apps, that's sucks, i think Samsung will bring up this ASAP

You know you can just drag and drop apps on each other to auto create folders and name them anything you want - just make sure to have 'lock items on home screen' turned off.
The potential of windowsphone was phenomenal - my first 2, 3 phones were wp. If Google and MS didn't have that stupid feud wp might have been able to access the potentials it already surpassed. I only switched to Android for a UA-cam app - otherwise I'd proudly still use windowsphone.
But those are double taps to get to the app. This opens it in a single tap
Even me. I loved Windows phone. They had the best UI to date and I loved what you could do with Windows phones. Wish they make an re-entry sometime

I'm very surprised you didn't change the launcher itself... I much prefer Nova over Samsung's OneUI default launcher.
He probably prefer default animation from stock launcher, if we change to 3rd party launcher we will missing the smooth animation from using stock launcher, one of the reasons why I still using one UI launcher even I really like Nova launcher

Settings > Display > Navigation bar > Swipe gestures > Swipe from bottom.
Use Samsung's One hand Navigation app for side gestures.
There you go, no more gesture lags.

That's not true I use Microsoft launcher and it didn't lose the smooth animations
@@marufio unfortunately it's true, I been using many launcher before included Microsoft launcher & when came to 3rd party launcher, we will lost smooth animation when opening or closing app on default homescreen, the animation is still fast and fluids but not soo smooth like when using One UI launcher again, you can see and feel the difference with your own eyes when opening & closing app using swipe to home screen (I dont know how to describe but it just like the page of app will close slowly & go inside app icon, something like that)
