My friend uses those commander decks, and they are really nasty! I hate the Eldrazi deck! I'm trying to perfect my Masters of evil deck. It's pretty much a Dalek artifact deck at this point. But my Ur-Dragon deck smokes the competion every time! I can drop powerful dragons for basically 3 or 4 mana!🔥🔥🔥🐉
Wow, the realization that if Corey had put his commander in the graveyard, he could have blown up literally 25 permanents the turn he cast mana echoes, and that's just doing the math for him replicating the striking sliver 4 times. If he has done it less and drawn more slivers off the kindred discovery and all the encoring, probably could have left nobody with ANY permanents.
Jezuz what an insane game. Stevens back seat driving of Corey was out of control. At the point where he was telling him what to blow up and went for johns lands when he didn’t have any permanents in play was just crazy. And to think John still won after all that lmao they all got what they deserved. Comeuppance for the win!
Jeremy's commander still says play it and pray it survives a whole turn cycle to do anything or play it followed by a 7 mana card the same turn to do anything. And hopefully don't cascade into two mana rocks. That's why it's just not good enough.
With Corey killing steven who was in sole position of last place and he had less health than Jermey, did he lose a point? Though he killed Steven and Jeremy at the same time?
OMG I think this after EVERY episode! When I started seeing Corey listening to Jon…again…and basically not know how to play his deck…again…I just fast forwarded to see how Jon was gonna win. Annnnddd….sure enough. They might as well stop with the point system at this point. I’m not sure it even matters.
I think it makes for less mistakes with the lifetotals. 5 people each keeping life totals by themselves gives much more room for mistakes than 4/5 people keeping life totals together on 1 device.
Gravemother could have encored back all Cory's slivers without casting them triggering bringing back the ping sliver. Not sure if the mana would have worked out.
is corey playing a bit? he's a very smart guy and knows a lot about Magic, but just seems to empty his brain and spew words when trying to resolve spells. it's very weird how often he really doesn't understand his cards (like the Teferi's Protection interaction).
I dont see anyone mentioning it so i just put it here. Jon plays the spell which prevents combat dmg and sends it back to the creatures. Shouldnt the sliver that redirects dmg then in return kill john? The redirect dmg is non combat dmg. I might be off here but
I'm pretty sure they explained it, but Comeuppance prevents all damage that would be dealt to you by sources you don't control, so I believe that damage is prevented as well.
34:15 am i the onlyx one thinking that stephen's threat-assessment is non-existent ? i agree the walkers had to go, but corey's board is so f.. much scarier at that point in the game. you can disagree, but i'll just assume you never played against any sliver deck before :DD 3 draw engines , necrotic and a replicate sliver with the gravemother as a commander seems like it could potentially end everyone in 1-2 turns. planeswalkers can simply be removed by attacking them, no need for cast out so wtf was that decision not to let corey handle the walkers and keep removal for slivers ?
I love tribal decks but I’ve always thought sliver decks are just lame. Talk about easy mode. Trying to win with a tribe that’s challenging is so much more fun
What is in Jeremy's hand that makes him only want to cast his commander? Does he not understand he has to get a boardstate before the others will allow him to play it? Dude learn your playgroup.
Gideon was under "Cast Out", correct? If so, he would come back. Newer versions of that effect like cast out are all one trigger, which ends when it leaves to Stephen dying. Older ones wouldn't return it because bringing it back is a separate trigger, which is removed from the stack when its controller dies, leaving Gideon gone. (Like Oblivion Ring)
@@stayathomedad4830 it's not my fault he can't play the game he is supposed to be a professional magic player and doesn't even read his cards or bother to learn what they do I am sorry if I think a person that supposed to play magic professionally should at least know what the cards in there deck do

the whole table helping one player play their deck is the most EDH thing ive seen in a long time
I needed it! Magic is hard! 😂
@@CoreyBMTG can imagine the camera also makes it harder, having people comment about everything is rough. Fun game to watch as always!
And it was Corey, which is the most SCG thing I’ve seen
15 minutes in screaming "Gravemother goes in the graveyard!" at the screen. ^^ Absolute blast to watch :)

The next youtube short is going to be that bit with Corey thinking Abundance is like Abundant Harvest. Lol
Feel like Jeremy will be having another stern talking to with Corey about the play philosophy.
when was the first stern talking to?
Playing a 4 toughness 7 mana commander after Jon flashed his Chandra Torch of Defiance was so painful.
Very good evidence that Kindred Discovery can be a bit of a double edged sword.
Normally it shouldn't be as you just destroy Kindred using Harmonic Sliver or Necrotic Sliver
no, just as jon said he played with his food and got burned
the problem was more of an issue of corey juggling swords than the swords having two edges.

Even though Corey was handled. This is why Slivers need to be killed on sight
Corey finally got his "comeuppance" for over extending. That was a great win.
Episodes like this remind me that I still miss Justin

That's what Corey gets for blowing up lands 🤣
Love seeing new videos out!!
I think the cunning rhetoric missed triggers would have killed Corey before damage was done
I love this banter. Even if I didnt play, id watch the brotherhood.
I love that John drew 10 card in a turn then on Corey's turn after he complains that corey drew 4
He should have decked himself from the death triggers and drawing cards
everyone that plays slivers: I dont get why everyone hates me out of the game right away
I'm on Team Green, but he needs a Queer Eye make-over. Whoever gave him that haircut should go out back with Old Yeller.
*spoiler*
This is why comeuppance is the most underrated white card in the format 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Love how Jon played out the end so funny.
I like the little phone in the middle, but is anyone opposed to having lifetotals in the corners like before?

So moral of the story is just blow up all of Jon’s permanents…
Yeah, I would have taken him out with destroying his lands.
Would y’all just let Jeremy cascade ONE TIME?
err… two times
Woot woot just in time for my commute :))
Baby Stephen!
Lol playing with your food 😂

what happened to stevens cunning rhetoric triggers
John is more salty about the D&D sets than Justin ever was about kamigawa and its hilarious.
So they didn't let Jeremy play at all.

Nice!
This episode is a direct example of why Slivers shouldn't exist.
still nobody on this show has learned to kill Jon 1st EVERYTIME
Mistakes were made chat!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ignored themes, land destruction, and 15 minute turn. What fun.
Do y’all play with Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, etc? I feel like Zhulodok has to play those to have a chance at most tables.

Did Cory added best sliver Morphon the boundless?
Cory with second to last turn not played anything and attacked with 10/10 double striker Drew 2 cards 1 from turn lol
I feel like Gollum because I hate Teferis Protection but also love Teferis Protection.
And here I thought they were done playing Sheldons deck. This was a classic "You Did This To Yourself" game.
VINDICATE! VINDICATE! VINDICATE!
necrotic sliver miss
Corey with no X spell with mana echoes hurts my soul.
Love the games but I wish you guys would allow everyone at least one turn with their commander. It would allow for some great content.
Get that Corey guy out of here
Did they miss the Brood Sliver trigger? Generating a lot of slivers and decking out Corey instantly
It's a may trigger and they mentioned it and noted he would deck if he did it. lol

he's played for years and years and still sucks.
Yeah he's just always goldfishing. Never assesses threats properly. Just overall poor gameplay. meh, he's the show's punching bag.@@keithfilibeck2390
Man Cory didn’t added Morphon omg really
Should have destroyed all of Jon's lands 😀
I was satisfied was Jon’s lands was destroyed because all the scheming bs he does. Then he does some more bs. 🤣
Jon dissing Lae'Zel is blasphemous.
Cory has ruined commander vs for me. Find someone new.
@coach3376 Find a new show baby!
Day three of asking you to abandon the life total in the middle of the table. Its hard to read and looks cheap. Bring back the banner!
Didn't change the outcome, but Gideon wouldn't return to Jon with Stephen dying. It remains exiled permanently.
