Corey is correct that his commander is still a commander when it is face down.903.3. Each deck has a legendary creature card designated as its commander. This designation is not a characteristic of the object represented by the card; rather, it is an attribute of the card itself. The card retains this designation even when it changes zones.
Really love seeing how excited Jeremy was for Doctor Who. As soon as he explained that TARDIS is an acronym, I knew he was a true Whovian. Anyone else looking for an episode to start on that isn’t Don’t Blink, I love “Vincent and the Doctor” the Van Gogh episode!
If Corey is hitting Jeremy with a facedown version of his commander, whether it's a cyberman, a morph, or something else unusual, it is still the object that is your commander card so its combat damage is commander damage.
Green should have been choosing other creatures with day of the moon. The saga remembers previously named creatures and will still goad them, missed out on more creatures having to attack your opponents
So John didnt need to die, he could make the choice to shuffle in a creature with that villainous choice even if he didnt have one. unless it targeted then he was fine, like with Davros, Dalek Creator you can choice to discard a card even if you dont have a card in hand
@redblackdg because they are jerks. Stephen unironically gets picked on more than any other player. Yes the value he could have gotten is minimal, but its blatantly untrue and unfair
When the Master triggered from the cyberman dying, wouldn't the choice be to pay life, or create a token of the face-up version of the card? Like, if the facedown cyberman was a saga on its face, wouldn't the token copy be the saga.
For the flavor of the motorcyclist driving the RMS Titanic, I'm imagining the bike locks in like in and anime and she just pilots the Titanic while in the bike.
Once again asking for the old life counter system. Not the phone in the middle of the table. Can't tell what peoples life totals are on that small display. Also Jon shouldn't have died. He could have chosen to shuffle creatures both times. He didn't need a creature to shuffle in, in order to choose that option.

Yeah, I've been wondering what he does like outside of Magic. Like you don't have to be a fan of everything (I myself know nothing about Dr. Who), but you'd think he'd have some other interests or hobbies.
the "partner with" cards are great, thers is one doctor's companion that has that, so if you play her, you technically have 3 commanders, but one is in the library until you play the companion. ah, there it is, Amy pond is a red companion and she can fetch Rory Williams out of the deck. I'm putting this out there... Gavin, please do not ever design a card like the Seventh Doctor ever again. No one wants to play against that stuff. put the Seventh Doctor on the list of bad card design you approved along with Eminence and arcane signet. I like the villian deck. I do like some of the doctors too, but not the precons themselves. my favourites are The Third Doctor, The Tenth Doctor, and The War Doctor
I'm only a fan of some of them. Some are so.....way off target of the "Magic" feel that it just makes me shy away. Others, like LotR, 40k, are fine for me.

Yeah, but are the Doctor Companions also commanders?
@@DieJG yes. doctor's companion says you can have two commanders if one is the doctor

You can choose an option like shuffle a creature in or discard even if you dont have a creature or card, info for the future
So John didnt need to die, he could make the choice to shuffle in a creature with that villainous choice even if he didnt have one. unless it targeted then he was fine, like with Davros, Dalek Creator you can choice to discard a card even if you dont have a card in hand
Opportunity missed at 1:29:20 when Jeremy didn't say "I block with my "Face""
Dang the missed corey scry 2(2x) for the 2 blank rolls
These look much better than I originally thought. They played fairly evenly too.
Based on Rules he should have had an upkeep
I was just about to say the same thing. I dont know why they said no

Corey never hearing of Pompeii makes me wonder on education
I was going to say the same thing.
he has a near zero knowledge on basically any topic, its baffling how little he seems to know.
I was assuming he was being sarcastic
They are magic players lol
when john died, he could have chossen to shuffle 2 creatures, even if he only as 1.
Is there anyway to change the color of the numbers for life? Extremely hard to read Jon’s life total.
Favorite episode this season for sure!!!

Its not the phone itself it's the colors, the red and blue ones are very clear
If they got a small tablet it would be better. And yes, darker versions of the colors would be nice
A black background with big numbers would work. The colours just make it illegible.
I havent played in a long while and I must say this set looks epic! Love how all the decks worked with the planes! I would pick up one of each deck if I could.
If you guys are dead set on keeping the phone in the middle for ease because of life pads, I wish the life totals will stay on the corners also
It was for the sake of the editor/director. Keeping track of life on the life pads was secondary.
Really hard to read some life totals
How did the creators drop the ball on the fact that the Daleks and Cybermen can fly (yet can't on these cards)??
Corey misplayed, Time lord regeneration has to target a Time lord
1:43:30 Jon is wrong there....
Nice touch with the knocks.
Stephen is all of us old MTG players reacting to universes beyond
Green's not having fun today
The amount of things that Corey doesn’t know has got to be a troll at least a little bit because otherwise…the US education system failed him.
A little bit of that, a little bit of trolling.

Check the card again. The chapters aren't in order. 1 and 3 do the first thing. 2 and 4 do the other.
