I loved this and have watched it multiple times already! I really love the idea of putting a code in each book of the Bible instead of being tied down to one code for the whole Bible. I think I'm going to start doing that in my new journaling Bible. I also like that you don't highlight until later when you've had time to think about it. I often highlight too much and then later I think... I really didn't need to highlight that.
Thanks so much for sharing how you’ve been filling up your Bibles. This is really fun to see how you’re marking them up differently and really inspiring 🥹🫶🏼
This is my third time watching the video lol I just love how much time you’ve taken to journal through Gods word. And your tabs are always so beautiful, I can’t wait to order some! Thanks for sharing your passion for our Father ♥️
The handwriting on the front page of your old Bible is so cute! I love it. I don’t know how but I gives of a summery feeling. It honestly looks like one of the fonts you would use on Google docs.
I just found your page and love this, I’ve been trying to get into bible journaling and this helps so much! What do you choose to circle/ underline or bracket ?
I'm so glad! I do not have a specific system. I usually circle important words, and attributes about God. and then underline things I want to remember.
This is so helpful, I just found your channel. I was wondering exactly what type of Bible that is starting at 4:37? Also, where did you get it? Thank you so much.
I personally use these just because I love how they write. But I use to use pens from Well Watered Women Co or Daily Grace Co and both worked great too! www.amazon.com/dp/B007PV3VFI/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_8R8Z82TSAJP7H77TA24A?linkCode=ml2&tag=findwondroust-20
the ESV journaling study Bible amzn.to/3Q1zWV8 There's several different cover options, so if you search that in amazon or christianbook, you can look at the others too.
I made both! I have tabs in my Bible - and then the book titles are stickers I made. I will have tabs available in my shop again this Thursday. www.findwondrousthings.com/shop
So using a certain type of 🖍️ crayon instead of a highlighter will stop page bleed thru. I don’t like ink highlighter because it bleeds thru to the flip side of the page 😣
Thank you for sharing a flip through of your journal bible. I use post-it notes to write thoughts or add definitions to my bible pages referencing the verses and I date them. It helps me to remember when I first learned that truth. I also use small stickers next to the chapters or verses I like most (i.e Psalm 3}. This works great for non journal bibles as well. When you want to make changes to notes in your Bible you can remove the post-it note or place an updated post-it note on top of the previous post-it note. I use washi tape to put index cards with lists/word study verses in my bible. I prefer color pencils to highlight specific verses. The best pens to use in the bible that doesn't bleed through the pages is 2.5 or 3.0 mm Mcron pens. I found a 16 pen set that comes with about 10 colors plus 6 black pens that range in size from 2.5 to 5.0 mm for under $20 on Amazon. Just wanted to share some tips for people who may want to get started journaling or note keeping asap and may not have a journaling bible. These tips also work great for those who would prefer not to write in their bibles at all. Thanks again and have a great day.😊

Which crayon colors do you use that go with your color scheme?
I’m going to do a whole video next week on color coding and I’m going to share my colors!
