But it feels good right now to see how much I got done. Your grandfather would be proud. Hell, I'm proud of you.
Very impressive transformation...work ethic is second to few.. commendable attitude.,,..would love a more nature positive approach to these types of farms
100 percent agree with this statement! I would only add that we need more people like Cole educating our kids about what hard work, dedication, and sacrifice truly are! What got me in tears watching this, was what he ate to get by. Eating the leftovers from a ''Sitting" table of your piers, is as Humble as anything i have ever heard! Love this guy, and may God continue to Bless his Family.
Absolutely, but he's probably also a bit pissed too as Cole threw out his stash of stuff 😃, but that's okay. His grand-dad gave him the farm and said make it yours which Cole has done which I'm sure would have made his grandfather very happy. You can tell Daddy Cornstar is impressed too. Good for Cole. Wish I was mid 20's again and had that kind of energy to get up every morning and just go go go doing stuff, miss those days.
I remember when you started your UA-cam channel I stepped away, and I’ve come back. You have accomplished so much! Be very proud of yourself, and the future.
Cole, I am a 54 year old mother to 3 boys. My husband and I have been married for 28 years. The year of 2022 was absolutely awful to us as we lost our house in Norcal Jan02,2022 and we became homeless. We fortunately had an old tent trailer which we camped in for 6 whole months. Then my husband went back to work after cv19. So, on 6/24 he fell between 8-30 ft down to the ground. He was hurt so bad and ended up needing emergency brain to to the speech center of his brain. His job put me and our kids into hotel rooms. We got out of the hotel rooms and finally found a large brand new house that would fit me and our 3 kids. We moved in 2 weeks ago. My husband is still in the hospital 6 months later and he is improving but he still can’t walk, talk, eat, swallow and we did what we told ourselves we were going to do. On a good note if you want to take it this way, I lost over 100lbs this year and I look in the mirror and I can’t believe how much I have changed. Wearing cloths I have not been able to wear since before my kids were born. My point here is, we learned what not to do and get into a rental house to have a safe roof over our heads and to get our lives back together. We are doing it.
I am impressed at how you and the family have handled this curveball that life has sent you. Just keep on doing what your doing as it is working. In doing so you are showing your children by not giving up that things do improve over time. There is always someone worse off than you, and SMILING BEATS CRYING. Will be thinking of your struggle. Tho life is tough it will get easier. Best of life and luck.
Epic clean up. Unbelievable project. Well done. And your grandpa must have been a very successful farmer to own all that old equipment. I'm sure the local Massey Ferguson dealer was sorry to see him retire. Good luck.
If your Grand Pa Ray could see the farm, you better believe he would be proud. Thank you for doing this, filming it, and reminding us of something that many loose over time; our own dreams. Thank you Cole, You inspired me!
You have brought new life into the family farm. Amazing transformation everything looks beautiful.. Grandpa is looking down smiling knowing the legacy he built will live on for generations to come.
The amount of growth this young man has experienced is incredible. His mindset is spot on and his heart is wonderful. He is going places but most importantly, his character is just great.
@@fraidykat I have no idea what you're getting at. It sounds like you've got a personal issue with the guy. I'm not really interested in getting involved with it.
So much discipline, determination, perseverance, and SACRAFICE was put into this transformation! Just extraordinary!!! Thank you so much for taking the extra step of documenting everything for us to watch! Couldn’t be more proud of you Cornstar! 🥹👏🏼
The undertaking was daunting to say the least. Never saw anything so completely destroyed by neglect. And, never saw anything so completely changed by vision, hard work and determination. So darn impressive in every way.
It's not neglect. That is an amazing farm, but if it costs so much money and labor to clean up, you can see why a farmer would park stuff around and just leave it... Imagine if Cole wasn't so smart with the UA-cam income? How could he afford the $100, 000 for the clean-up? Cole is lucky to be in a successful farming family that bought land and worked it and survived AND passed it on!!!
Older farmers tended to save everything. Every piece of metal could be repurposed one day, every vehicle has spares on it. Then things get overgrown and piled and forgotten. Kind of brave of Cole to make a clean sweep and get rid of everything. I think I may be too sentimental.
Well you get old and you get sick. The only time a farm doesn't look messy is if it's royalty and you can pay crazy amounts for people to keep it looking perfect. Farms will always be messy. There's just too much work for people to do. People get old and sick. They most likely didn't wanna stress their grandpa out while he was alive so they waited until after to clean.
This might be one of the most satisfying videos I’ve ever watched. To see this place that has been neglected for so long, cleaned up and restored to its full beauty just fulfills something g deep in me. I’m sure that this farm has done tons of work and all of the things that were used up and left behind are a testament to those generations of hard work. But it’s so nice to see your property be used in a way that honors it’s beauty instead of treating it as a junkyard for all of the discarded tools from all those years of work. What an accomplishment and what an honor to all of the generations of your family who have lived there will live there. Keep up the good work Cole and family!!
You know that your grandfather is smiling down on you and I know that your father is so proud of you as well, truly blessed. Keep up the great work I love your videos
I'm sure they had their reasons. Trees out in open fields get damaged real easy due to wind, hopefully they make a new tree line that would be a great idea!
I know it must have been hard work but what heritage you and your family will pass down for each generation. The house is going to be gorgeous when your all done. What a blessing your grandpa left you! I was always taught hard work will make you appreciate things more and you will always be proud of your accomplishments! Life is a blessing! Family is a blessing!
First time I found your channel. I picked a good one. I'm 74 and have always had the same attitude you have. I'll let you in on secret. IT'S WORTH IT. Keep taking those small steps. When you look back, you'll surprise even yourself. One piece of advice. Do things once! Don't be tempted to empty the truck on the spot and think you'll pick it up later. Put things where they belong, and where you can find them, when next you need it. You'll save a lot of time, and have time to take another forward step, instead of backwards or sideways. Good luck kid. Wish I was your age, so I could have another 50 years of doing some more things on the ever changing bucket list.
I can't believe it's already more than 5 years ago I started watching you and your family Cole. Have never missed a video since then and this video is just a beautiful representation of what you have achieved in the last 6 years.
What an amazing transformation. You are sure not afraid of work and farms take work, lots of it. I was sad to see some of the trees go and a few of the buildings . But i know each building gets taxed, at least on our farm. Your Grandpa and Greatgrandpa have to be very proud that you want to continue their legacy.
Hey Cole, I have very little in common with you and your life but I LOVE your perspective and motivation and your ability to inspire people to work hard. Thank you for sharing! The farm looks beautiful! You did something awesome, be proud!

Cole, thank you for sharing your journey and inspiration. What an enormous task you had stepping up and restarting where your Granddad left off. I’m curious how much you were able to sell that massive amount of scrap metal that was on that farm. Every clip you were revealing more and more stuff! I wish you great success and I know you will achieve it!
This video is golden! What an inspiration you are, Cole! I started watching your videos over 3 years ago and was fascinated what information you shared about farming. Then, you started the clean up and I was hooked! You've done a terrific job. I know your mom and dad are so proud of your dedication to the family farm. What a difference you've made! I'm excited to see you moving forward on all those great house ideas for your new little family! God bless!
a few years, the contractor who is digging the footing for that new building/crib/???? is going to cuss the idiot who buried all that concreat right there.
Dig a big deep hole yourself and bury it? Or, pay someone to take it away? Farmers have learned from a young age that if you want something done or fixed you do it yourself! We call it the No. 8 wire mentality.
The bad part is there will be sinkholes for decades in every one of those spots. As the ground settles over time with rain and snow, it will create voids below that the dirt above will wash down into. Prior generations on our farm have buried things like this (barns, old houses), and we continue to fight settling now. It may take 100 years for that ground to be stable. Makes for a dangerous situation when driving over those spots with heavy equipment too. I commend Cole and his family for the cleanup, but hate to think of what they will be dealing with in coming years. I predict a video called “There’s a hole in my yard!”
You are an amazing young man!!! I’m sure your grandpa is looking down and is extremely proud of all you’ve done and are planning to do! Never lose focus, you are an inspiration. Best of luck on your future endeavors.

I was inspired by your progress and started clearing my property 10 months ago. It was never a farm but the previous owner was a slob who chucked his trash into the woods. Many times this summer I kept asking myself, "Why bother?" But it feels good right now to see how much I got done.
Your grandfather would be proud. Hell, I'm proud of you.
This world needs more people like Cole in it.
I agree but I'm not sure there is enough work for that level of effort by many Cole's!
Yes sir
COLE FOR PRESIDENT Corn in the White House yard.
My God, daddy cornstar is the spitting image of his father , I had never seen a photo of him 🥰
On the video where daddy Cornstar sees the Oliver tractor he talks about his dad. He seems like a copy of his dad. So sweet
LITERALLY
Granddad is looking down and smiling at how much you love his home. ❤ Congratulations on making it yours.
Holy cow, I didn’t think I was watching that long, but I remember almost all of that.
Yah, me too!!
same here!
Dang i think i been subscribed longer than i thought i was too.😳
I was thinking the same thing 😊
Me three!
Cole you should be proud of all you and your dad and brother have accomplished is such a short amount of time.
When you can see the improvements from outer space, you really know how much you've accomplished.
Blackie apie
I remember when you started your UA-cam channel I stepped away, and I’ve come back. You have accomplished so much! Be very proud of yourself, and the future.
Cole, I came for a house video. I stayed for the family. I've watched this journey and you should definitely be proud of what you have accomplished.
Wow - what an impressive true story. Best of luck to you and your family!
So sorry for your troubles, congratulations on getting back up and fighting on. 💖
🥲🤗🥰
Congratulations
I've seen every video for the last 3 plus years and that took some kinda determination.Well done young man.Amazing transformation.
Same here. The transformation has been amazing. I actually started watching due to the cleanup, then stayed to learn farming.
Epic clean up. Unbelievable project. Well done. And your grandpa must have been a very successful farmer to own all that old equipment. I'm sure the local Massey Ferguson dealer was sorry to see him retire. Good luck.
You’ve done a great job Cole, your grandpa would be so proud of you!
By far one of the best videos I've ever watched in my 51 years! Well done young man. You are beyond amazing.
Same, cept 67 years here! 😊
Very hard worker and to stay committed to a extremely BIG TASK you deserve everything you put your hard work and mind too. Thumbs up to you 👍.
Well done, Cole. We need a million Coles in our country right about now.
The amount of growth this young man has experienced is incredible. His mindset is spot on and his heart is wonderful. He is going places but most importantly, his character is just great.
I agree
He's a dumb@$$ who doesn't know how to get his money out of his opportunity.
@@fraidykat lol I hope you wake up on the right side of the bed this morning
@@straight-up-shots Fools and their wealth are swiftly parted.
@@fraidykat I have no idea what you're getting at. It sounds like you've got a personal issue with the guy. I'm not really interested in getting involved with it.
Cole, you know your Grandpa is SO FREAKING PROUD OF YOU!!! Keep up the great work it looks amazing!!!
I think your grandpa would be very proud of how far you’ve come on his property and that you’re restoring it so it lasts for future generations.
This shows a lot of self pride, family pride and farm pride! Amazing transformation that took A LOT of hard work, but you can be very proud of it!
He Just destroyed all of his family heritage in one video! 😂 ffs 🤦♂️
Well said
@@almostafarm6394 Farms are a great deal of physical labor. His grandpa just got old.
An hour long montage, highlighting everything I've watched of yours over the years... And im super excited to watch :D LETS GOOO
So sad to see all those shady trees taken out. 😢 Other than that, FABULOUS JOB!!!
wow... my exact thoughts. :(
That and tearing down the old round barn. Round here those are treasures to be restored.
Also thought it was sad. Beautiful trees!
Yeah, my thoughts too.
Young Ladies out there, THIS is the kind of partner you should seek if you have his similar work ethic and values!
Young ladies, if you want a man like this you had better become a woman of the same character.
You didnt give up and as much as grandpa would have found a use for everything, he would be so proud of you.
Ive been having a really awful few years and Ive felt really lost. The speech at the end was exactly what i needed. I've never watched your channel before, but it was exactly what I needed today. Thank you Cole.
Metoo❤
Your grandpa is smiling!!! I’m sure of that . This video is over the top . My favorite. It will take something very special to top this one . Keep it brother
Been watching for years and just like at my own property, when you do one project at a time it feels like you’re making no progress until you look back at all the changes you’ve made over a span of years. You’ve made incredible progress.
And this is why the world will always need young people and for the older generations to pass the torch to them. You should be proud Cole.
This is my favorite video Cole I have watched you for 3 years I think.I started when you were cleaning out the basement and of all the great videos this is numeral Uno lol
From someone raised in a hoarder situation, Thank you! I found this extremely satisfying. Especially Thank you for not making it into 100 separate videos which you could easily have done, I bet each little clip was an eternity in real life. It blessed me to see it start to finish in 1 episode. I could watch this 100 times
Definitely not an eternity, it clearly says 1000 hours. That's 25 weeks or 6 months about. Considering the amount of work they got it done quickly .
This is possibly the most, the best, episode you have made in a long time. I remember nearly all of the actions. I can't fathom the hours editing this compilation. Your Grandfather would be very proud of your results witnessing your goals and ideas.
Your determination alone is so inspiring!! Not to mention the extreme amount of work that went in to this. I'm in awe.
Your Grandpa would be so proud of you!
Great job!
This is absolutely amazing. You should be so incredibly proud of what you did! I'm willing to bet your Grandpa is smiling down on you with a tear in his eye because of how proud you made him with that farm.
Makes me wish I didn't grow up in suburbia.
You are making your Grandpa prouder than ever and making the Family name shine!!
Keep up the hard work all of you guys!!
It takes a Team!!
Holy smoley! That was an epic undertaking! Thank you for taking us along for the journey. I'm glad you kept your focus. There would've been plenty that would've punked out after a few weeks. Congratulations. A job well done.
What an amazing transformation! I just found your channel and am already hooked. Cole, you are an amazing guy. So wise, focused, and inspirational. Your words at the end of the video brought tears to my eyes. Your grandpa would be so proud of you! Can’t wait to see what else you do.
I started watching your channel with your latest harvest and always thought how neat and well organized your farm looked. Now that I have seen this video I'm like wow. What an amazing job. I'm sure your grandfather would be very proud! Amazing job!!
You should be extremely proud of yourself that was a HUGE project. Very well done young man!
Cole i've been watching you and family for the last 2 years and hope to see you for the next 20 years on here. you and your family give me hope for the the future.
Fabulous job and a bloody good start for a new generation. It's just a shame about the deforestation and subsequent lack of wind/soil erosion breaks.
The trees!!!! Now it's beautiful, like a dessert.
Cole needs to be invited to do a Ted Talk, inspirational
You are making your grandpa proud, not many young men your age are as focused and driven as you are! Loved seeing this transformation!!
Gosh, have I really been watching this channel so long? Been here since the beginning of the house restoration! Looks beautiful.
Cole, thank you for sharing your journey and inspiration.
What an enormous task you had stepping up and restarting where your Granddad left off.
I’m curious how much you were able to sell that massive amount of scrap metal that was on that farm. Every clip you were revealing more and more stuff!
Good to see dead trees removed, sad to see good trees go, wonderful to see the house given a face lift.
You are a driven young man with a clear vision of where you are going.
God bless!
I love how a farmer’s answer to a lot of things is dig a big hole and bury it.
Multiple holes!!!!!!
a few years, the contractor who is digging the footing for that new building/crib/???? is going to cuss the idiot who buried all that concreat right there.
Cole speechless and that’s all I got to say about that well done young man
Cole you are a remarkable human.
I will be rewatching this video many many times.
You have motivated me so much.
God continue blessing this man!
Cole, you are wise beyond your years. You and your family should be proud of what you have accomplished. Very proud!!!
Cole I'm so proud of you and your vision. I have to admit I got a little teary eyed and full to the brim of admiration watching all that you and your family have accmplished. Definatly an inspiration and what America is all albout. Thank you!
Cole, you inspire me! We own a much smaller farm which I have ideas for. I have been feeling overwhelmed at the number of projects in the works but it is so satisfying when I can step back and see another one completed. Sometimes I feel as though I am in triage mode but you have given me the pep talk I need to continue moving forward.
You accomplished everything you set out to do and more, you had my complete attention! The farm is beautiful after your input. I think you'll make a good President. You are EXACTLY what America needs!
It looks like at one time, that was a mighty farm! I haven't watched in awhile, and it's fun looking back on all the work you've done. I'm sad you took out all those gorgeous old cedar trees.
100k to DO ALL OF THAT is amazing!!! Best restore of a property I've ever seen!!! Love it, good luck with the family!!!!
Congratulations, Cole! Your attitude is awesome and you’re going to accomplish anything to put your mind to! Thank you for your wise words. You inspired me!
Cole when you started taking down old buildings and cutting up stuff tearing down trees I was upset but then the revile came it was the greatest thing I've saw in a long time so great job and your grandfather would be proud.....
Well done! I’m so impressed with your determination and tenacity. To all the people telling Cole he shoulda done something else with such and such - boo to you. This was a massive job and Cole knew what he had to do and he did it. Congratulations.
This one got me in the feels way more than I expected it to. Proud of the changes you have made and how hard your family works!
Persistence definitely is in Cole's vocabulary but proven in his ethics.
🙂 grandpa is smiling down upon you and thinking-what a wonderful wonderful thing these boys have done, the farm looks magnificent 🤗
The epilog was great. No matter how big the task, get rid of the clutter and do something each day. It’s amazing what can be accomplished.
