    -Use shampoo that is for the amount of oil you produce and only apply it to your scalp
    -Use a conditioner that is adjusted to the amount of damage (porosity) and for frizz is medium damage/porosity. Leve it for 3 min.
    - Always use conditioner because shampoo dries your hair
    - Brush your hair only when it's dry or mostly dry
    - Use a heat protectant spry if you use the blowdryer or straightener
    - Don't rub your hair with the towel, only pat it
    - Don't sleep with wet hair
    - If your dyed your hair use a hair mask until it's more healthy
    - Cold, hot and humid weather cause frizz so always use hair oil
    - Clean your brush every month leaving it in hot water for a while and then use a toothbrush to clean the surface

      @@codingFastASF stay consistent bro. I have been using conditioner, essence oil and hair mask(basically concentrated thickened conditioner) for six months and my hair is now smoother. Also make should using lukewarm or cold to rinse your hair and dry it completely on cold setting cause leave your hair air dried will make your hair frizzy.

    A tip i can share is when you wash out conditioner do not stop until your hair feels like straw. Your hair shouldn’t feel soft after all the product is out. Feels very counterintuitive but your hair will look super soft and light for days after instead of becoming oily after day 1 due to all the product still left in your hair.

    Great vid! It gets straight to the point with some good tips. Just a heads-up: for the best results, use hair oil as the final step in your routine. Applying it before leave-in conditioner can reduce its effectiveness. After showering, apply leave-in conditioner to damp hair, then styling products like gels or creams. Finish with a small amount of oil to lock in moisture. Also, avoid putting oil directly on your scalp unless it’s meant for that, as too much can cause itchiness or dandruff.

  • @jadeypeach
    @jadeypeach 3 місяці тому +52

    Do the leave in before the oil, because the leave in won’t be able to penetrate the oil. Oil is always the final step 😄

    I like most of your advice however I found that leave in conditioners are probably just better for longer hair types and good light weight hair creams can be more moisturizing, better for frizz and much nicer to style with as they are generally smoother than leave in conditioners

    For thee first step, I would say it’s not always objective, for example, I have thick and wavy/curly hair that tends to get frizzy and I use to wash hair 1-2 times a week. I noticed I would get dandruff though and it doesn’t help that I wear a hat all day for uniform. I started washing more often and that helped with my scalp. So it takes some experimenting

    The best thing for my frizzy hair is using very, very cold water. First you can wash your hair normally, with not too hot water. However, after done, i get very cold watere out of the frige and put then on my hair anad go thoguh it so my natural curls (that tend to be frizzly) form like spagetti's. This looks bad if you do it, but if you let it dry or maybe dry blow (never tried that) and then just go through it, it's the least frizzy and you didnt even used product. It looks very natural, non greasy, doesnt feel greasy. However, the colder hte water is, the better it is for frizzly hair, so i might try hair that came out of the freezer and see how that dries up. I The hair will look thinner if you put cold water in, because it contracts it together. SO you alwasy have to go rhough it if you want to avoid that look, but I think its such a powerful method _without using any product_ or combing. This combiing part is especially important if you have curly hair cause combing it parts the hairs and you want them to become clusters with other hairs without looking greasy. So yeah, thats what I would advice anyone with dry frizzly hair. to be clear, my hair is much more frizzly than this guys hair. I would hardly call this frizzly, as straight hair is often not that frizzly in younger people especially.

    Does hard water cause frizz? I went on vacation in different countries with different water qualities, but my hair was absolutely fantastic on vacation, it stayed fine for a week or 2-3 when I got home but now it’s frizzy again
    my routine is:
    -shampoo 2x
    -leave in hair mask in shower for 3-5 mins
    -apply leave in after getting out and hair is damp
    -apply curl cream
    -blow dry (medium heat, medium power)
    -hair oil

    • @Cole_Bussell
      @Cole_Bussell  2 місяці тому

      Yeah, hard water can definitely cause frizz because of all the minerals. Vacation spots might have softer water, which is better for your hair. Try a clarifying shampoo or maybe a shower filter to help out.
      Solid routine too

    That’s incorrect regarding the oily hair.
    The less you mess with your hair, the less you’re stimulating the oils. Also, using a shampoo like lemon will reduce the oil, unlike a shampoo like almond will increase the oil.
    And do not use conditioner near the scalp.
    Do not also over brush your hair which will also stimulate oils. I hope this helps for you x

    I do a lot of heavy work during the week which makes my hair sweaty and because of that I end up washing everyday.
    I got short hair (french crop), often dry, not oily at all and whenever my hair grows it gets a really frizzy.
    Should i stop washing my hair even though it's sweaty? It gives me agony but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make in order to not get my hair frizzy when it's "big" and do a properly side haircut.
