I feel like I need to punch a baby in the face or something to restore balance to the world. Not really because, well, I'm not a POS, but you get the point.
I was born in Thurso and lived in Tongue.... It's SO good to see you up here !!! I was at the Durness Highland games this year and took part.... In the Archery.... only in the archery !!!!!
Thanks Eddie love you giving it a go. I miss being not being able to walk down to watch our local games now they shut the village off and it is not locals anymore ❤
So many comments from folks who have lost their dad to cancer. My condolences to all of you. My dad is currently battling lymphoma but I hope he can get well enough to do a similar trip with me soon. Won’t catch him on a bike though and I hung up my leathers a few years ago after my second write-off
man i have been training for the highland games and im 15 so seeing Eddie doing this it gust macks me wont to do it even more and love your work Eddie Hall
Precious time spent with your dad on a big adventure couldn’t think of anything better to do really have got an impressive life great watching guys keep up the good work 😊
So cool seeing u at the shaw classic. Now that Brian is retired. I really hope you and him do something even if you make your own TV’s episodes on UA-cam, both of you share the episodes, it will give your channel so many views.
Loved watching you on this trip with your old man mate. It brings back memories of doing the 500 with mine a few years ago now. We lost him in March to cancer so it was a special trip, amazing part of the world to boot.
Sr. Hall is quite a large man as well. I can see where Eddie gets his size. When you get to County Angus look up my distant cousins. My Family left Scotland for Canada from there.
Eddie, you and your dad are excellent together, hope you do good in the games, Scotland is beautiful country. Definitely a bit cold, freeze your bollocks off in winter but a great thing to see in winter. Hope you two enjoy everything you came to see and do.
You should totally commit to a Highland Games show Eddie - after all, it's the origin and roots of strongman! ❤ You and Brian next year both doing a show together 😊
When Eddie would try to lift the 500 kilos. So he had as a requirement to be allowed to use his own bar and platform in the competition. Talk about being a diva. It would be best if Eddie just shut up
I just wanted to say this is such a cool thing to do and with ones dad. Like you get to vid all this and keep it in your mind and to share with all of us. I really appreciate it and can't wait to see more.
I have my DAS Mod 1 test tomorrow so watching Eddie ride a motorcycle is extra inspiration 😊 I got 2 minors in my practice test yesterday during my 1 hour of training so I think I'll do it.
Eddie Hall you are a Comedian..! Thats one of the best parts about you Brotha a Humble guy that has accomplished Great things "Awesome" keep the videos coming...
I've done that route in Scotland without knowing it was a well known thing. The spectacle of the Beast in leathers, a kilt and monstering the Highlands challenges was well worth watching. edit to add: anyone who has tried to toss their caber knows it comes with it's own rewards for success.
This video really hits home for me. Me and my dad have really bonded since I bought him a motorcycle so we could ride together. He retires this year, and I'm hoping I can take him to Scotland next year to see our family's ancestral castle.
That's what Eddie says, who had the requirement to use his own bar and platform if he tried to lift 500kg. Has anyone ever had to use their own bar during a strongman competition before? I think Eddie would do best to immediately stop joking about Haftor's record
@@jebudylajtwejt8051 Oh calm down. Who cares about any of that besides you? You must suck the joy out of life from everyone around you with that attitude.
@@jebudylajtwejt8051 One thing you should learn about Hafthor, he's just as much a diva as Eddie.....whereas Eddie just likes to wind folk up, Hafthor takes himself far too seriously. Case in note his 'double dip' from WSM 17(?), which by the way was disallowed by the very same referee who gave him his deadlift record. No-one disputes Magnus Ver Magnusson's credibility so why was Hafthor doing that during that competition at the time? Regarding his 1kg? Given that most people agreed he could've lifted more, why did it take him so long to attempt to break Eddie's 500kg and better still why wasn't he the *first* to attempt it? Here's the thing, no matter who you support between both of these guys the bottom line is Eddie set the record and will be remembered for being the *first* person to do so. When the new batch of strongmen break the 505kg, and it will happen, will you shift allegiance to the soon to be record holder or forever be a fanboy?
@@Slaeowulf I am not arguing anything buddy. I just laughed at the joke Eddie made because I thought it was funny. I think you need a nap, You are being a cranky little toddler right now.
Whoever filmed and edited the travel & landscape scenes did a phenomenal job. Would love to see the Beast doing more of the Highland games (especially in a Pokemon shirt and kilt 😆).
❤ Eddie PLEASE come to America and do a coast to coast film (and don’t start in the OBIOUS route ) do little towns and sample the different foods and stay in out of the way lodges. Just do it !

Most folk do the NC500 in an anti clockwise direction starting from Inverness and heading north. Eddie always does things different but. I'm guessing he's finishing at Invergordon, The Stoltmans home town and gym.
Get some of your pals together and have a cannonball contest off the high dive. Another fun one would be watching you test drive the smallest cars on the market and bring some strong men along to test the capability of the shocks. Be entertaining to see if a mini cooper can hold four of ya.
Eddie has completed the main story line and is now 100 percenting the side quests
😄
So what’s Brian Shaw doing, the side quests first before the main story?
The fact that Eddie just rolls around doing random shit is the best thing ever, what a life true strongman
I bet his school report says 'Eddie will go nowhere in life'. Happens to all our national treasures.
Can’t not enjoy how wholesome Eddie and his dad are.
I feel like I need to punch a baby in the face or something to restore balance to the world. Not really because, well, I'm not a POS, but you get the point.
His dad's got no presence for the camera but yeah good relationship they have
Say that sentence without using the “wholesome” fad.
I love the fact he and his dad are just enjoying ❤
I can't believe he's a biker gwan Eddie 😂
Eddie, I lost my Dad this year. It is nice to see you spending time with your Dad. Safe travels.
So sorry for your loss 💔
My condolences

Success means so much more when you share it with family. What a blessing to have a good relationship with your dad Eddie.
Your dad is a real gem, really enjoyed this one. Hopefully see more of him in the future.
Loving this series of videos. Nice scenery. Gentle banter. Random acts of strength. What’s not to like?! 😂
Amazingly shows how specialized some of the techniques are in certain sports.
Thanks Eddie love you giving it a go. I miss being not being able to walk down to watch our local games now they shut the village off and it is not locals anymore ❤
Some amazing scenery in this one. Cool! Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻👍🏻
What a place to ride! Gorgeous
I really enjoy the quality of the videos lately. Music, light, clipping, scenerie, everything seems to becoming more refined over time.

As an American Scotland is at the top of my list to visit. Italy 2023, and Scotland 2024 ❤ Absolutely BEAUTIFUL PLACE

Technique is the key to the Highland Games challenges. Eddy is a great sport to try this and do well with an experienced champion
Great video, I like the bond you have with your dad Eddie.
And the landscape is absolutely beautiful, it's astonishing. 👍
Look at how beautiful Scotland is I think I’m going to have to pay it a visit.

Fantastic. Eddies dad is game. Technique looks all in this. Eddie wasn't using enough legs but bloody hell these guys are strong.
