This has to be the best triple screen video I have ever watched. You've said in 9 mins what most take half an hour to do per topic. Brilliant and well done.
You are both a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you very much for the kind words. That was exactly my aim. Just trying to put together what I wished was out there when I first started up. As I sit here editing the iRacing triple setup video this was some very much needed motivation. You have my thanks and welcome to the team👌🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing Glad to be here. I do have one challenge at the moment. I have triple 27" curved monitors and the set up works well with Nvidia for iRAcing but in Assetto Corsa Competizione I get severe strretching on the side panels (eg wing mirrors), any thoughts
This sounds like an incorrect resolution issue to me. If the size is not correct and too small it would be stretched. I would double check the display resolutions are the same in both NVIDIA control panel and the display drop down on ACC. Hope that helps👍🏻
I have just entered the world of pc and triples. No idea at all of what I am doing but I have looked at plenty of how to videos but nothing has got in. Your videos have enabled me to get up and racing on triples for all of my sims. Thankyou for your very simple guides on how to achieve all of this. Your a legend.
This is a really lovely comment mate, thank you for your very kind words of support. This is the whole reason I make these. I am glad I was able to accompany you on your journey 💪🏻 Any other guides you need, let me know and I can see what I can do 👍🏻 Welcome to Team Trip' mate! You are going to love it here 🤣
This saved me from stressing out. ACC didn't match R3E (which is easy to set) and I was about to say screw it, and set this sim aside. Now, after looking at this tutorial, ACC looks right. Thanks a million!
This is the best tutorial on Web for set up triple screen monitor... That's the difference between who master what is Saying and who not! You're AWESOME dude! Congratulation!
What an awesome comment mate 😊 Thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement! I hope you have a wonderful triple screen journey! It is really a game changer!
I'll echo @Mark Goddard's comment from 4 days ago. The one thing that most triple screen videos don't include are full details on how to *position* the monitors, and that's the thing your video does better than any other I've seen. I'm getting delivery of two monitors today (fingers crossed) and your instructions, I'm confident, will be invaluable. Cheers!
Hi David! You are very welcome. Thank you for these very kind words of feedback. I'm glad you found it useful. I also have made one for iRacing and AMS2 which you might also find useful if you're new to the game💪🏻 Let us know how the setup goes. Triples is a game changer and you should enjoy them👌🏻
Excellent video, the content, physical setup and in game values is more than most vid's on this topic but in a much shorter length. One possible error correction, I believe if you have bezel correction enabled in nvidia surround then your in game bezels should be set to zero. If you don't use bezel correction then set the in game bezels as described in this video. At least that's what looked right to me.
Thanks for the feedback👌🏻 I found with bezel correction for me there is technically a blank space in between the monitors and the adjustment in the game served to correct that. I tried both and that's what worked for me👍🏻 As long as it works for you that's the main thing😊
@@TraumaTeamRacing No doubt yes ! If I am not mistaking you are also using the incredible simlab vario vesa adapter ! Easiest way to have 3 monitors well aligned in less than 1H !
@@mjuloski Haha! That is very well spotted my friend. You have good eyes👀 The Simlab Vario Vesa Adapter is the best way to go in my opinion if you have a triple setup. I am really fussy with accuracy and I don't think I would be able to achieve my precision with monitor alignment without them. Do you also use them?
Great information. How would you change the FoV degree using a curved monitor? I was looking at a ultrawide until I seen your videos. Truly helpful and thank you
Thank you for the kind words Travis! For a curved monitor treat them as a flat screen and measure them from corner to corner horizontally. This makes the most sense to me and have advised people similarly who have had good results.
Hi there, I'm not in front of the PC at the moment. There should only be one option that feels right and scaled appropriately if things have been set up correctly.
@@TraumaTeamRacing It's a nice program and was given permission by the author of the fov calculator you use to integrate into it as well. I have it in autostart. BTW: I was always very reluctant to use NV surround as I was limited to 60hz when enabling it. So I was astonished by your recommendation to use it and very surprised to see at 2:13min that you use it with max refresh rate. I used it with 3 monitors each 27" 1440p 144hz but 1 was a different brand. Quickly checked the Nvidia requirements and found out that *same* model is recommended. So I ordered a 3rd one same model that arrived today and voila: surround with 144hz. wow. Reminds me that the things you think you know but that are not true are the ones holding you back. Now I race in ACC with 7800x1440p on Epic Preset with DLSS Quality at average 180fps and 1% lows at 120. What a difference to 60fps. So your video was really helpful to me on more than one finding. Thx!
@@TheGuWie Hey there! I recently got an RTX 4070. Not sure why but DLSS is not helping AT ALL in ACC. It works fine in other games but no difference whatsoever in ACC. I get around 100fps in triple 1080ps. You must have a monster PC to push 180 in triple 1440s
@@TheGuWie I must have missed this reply I am sorry! I am glad you managed to get things set up nicely. The matching monitors is Almost mandatory I feel unfortunately. Thank you very much for the kind words 🙏🏻
I have 1 question. Which height and distance under the camera settings are correct? I use triple 32” with eye distance of 600mm and angle of 60°. Thanks for the video! It’s perfect
Hi there, Glad it helped you👍🏻 Once the perspective is set it is like moving a seat in the car. It is very subjective. Adjust it as you would a real vehicle until you are in a comfy position where you can see your mirrors. Your wheel base is usually a good guide using the in game steering column. I hope that helps👍🏻
Thanks for your sharing. Do you think triple curved monitors offer better result than flat one x3 for sim racing? If yes, are they apply same setup method?
Hi there, thank you for the feedback 😊 This is a bit nuanced and I don't think there is one right answer. You just have to decide what you want. For me (my opinion only😅), I went out of my way to get 2K flats. The angles can be more accurately measured as you would have to treat the curves as a flat surface to get your angle right. I also didn't want to have to match the radius of curvature (ROC) as I wanted 180 degree field of vision. To get that for me I would have has to break the ROC which would have annoyed me. Lastly, in a car the windows are flat so I thought that would match flat screens (less scientific I know😅) However, many enjoy the curved triples. For me, I believed it would have annoyed me. Hope that helps a little or at least food for thought.
@@TraumaTeamRacing With limited G-sync 32" monitor selection in the market, I decided to give a try for a Samsung G7 curved triple monitor setup. Let you know the result later.
You'll be happy either way I think. Its all very subjective. That's an awesome monitor and you should be very happy with them. I was considering them too😊
thank you very much for your video. I have a question, in the triple screen acc settings, the width of the screen is measured diagonally? because I have a doubt Thanks a lot
@@TraumaTeamRacing good question. Not sure though where it is stated. It is very unusual to put this information. I bet 20% of people get it wrong !!! Or i am completly fool :)
Can be a multitude of things. Incompatible monitors. I use G sync. The cable needs to be able to handle it (I use DP 1.4) getting a good cable is reassurance too. Making sure there is nothing limiting it in your display settings. Just a few that come to mind.
@@TraumaTeamRacing all my cables are fine they are all running 144 on their own it’s only when I try to span the screens to 3x1 that it limits me down to 60. I’ll try g sync. I might just need to buy all matching monitors
@@TraumaTeamRacing is it possible to 144 with a wide screen in the middle? Atm I have an AOC 34 inch 144hz and two Samsung 144hz so I’ve just been very confused
I believe it will be the monitors not playing nicely with each other. I'd always recommend matching if possible. But I realise many will have financial limitations that prohibit this.
amazing video thanks! Will this work for a 27x34x27 inch setup? I currently have 1 27 inch and 1 34 inch monitor and thought about getting a 2nd 27 inch for surround
First of all, Thx for this Video. Got a question: is it possible to run a 16:9, 21:9, 16:9 Triple Screen Setup in ACC or will i get Problems. Thanks in advance.
You are very welcome mate! For ACC there is not a way to enter for the individual monitors I am afraid. It assumes they are uniform. You might be able to do this with AMS2 however. Only one way to find out 😅
the SRWE isnt very good from what i wasa using it. it wouldn't be centered well and you would see the thottle and brake bars on the right screen with the margin at 1920/1920 in the ingame hud settings. in the end i had to use Custom DSR Tool and bordless gaming tool to get the ideal settings.
I believe you can, but it is definitely easier if you don't. I imagine you would just calculate the respective values for each monitor. You would probably have to take some liberties with the calculator as that will work things out for a 16:9 image.
I'm not in the slightest bit technical so need some help. I don't have an Nvidia GPU (got an AMD Radion) so don't think I can use Nvidia Surround. I've tried the workaround and got ACC open in Windowed mode, but the SRWE will not accept the figures in the width and height boxes and just keeps defaulting to totally different numbers. What am I doing wrong? I've 3 AOC 27" monitors. Any help gratefully received.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Thanks. Are there any videos or help in what I specifically need to do with Eyefinity? Couldn't quite work out what I needed to do, and as I'm totally new to this, none of it is 'normal' to me unfortunately so I'm looking for a real 'idiots' guide. :)
This should help you 👍🏻💪🏻 www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-014 Then follow my set up instructions for in game. This will just enable you to span the screens across all 3.
Hi, did you have the issue that all settings in the nvidia control panel where gone after a restart at some point? i set everything up according the video yesterday and today when starting up the pc everything was gone^^ BR
Haven't had this problem. All the settings save and should reload exactly as set up. If you disconnect and reconnect your monitors this might force you to reconfigure but otherwise should be fine👍🏻
I don't regularly race with this. But when I demonstrated it G-sync was activated as I have G-sync monitors and I didn't have any issues. Hope that helps you👍🏻

But your custom resolution won’t be listed in acc if using srwe right? Mine just says 1920x1080. I select that then fire up srwe. That works too right?
Am sorry new to this stuff, my question is is it possible to fit 3 screens retro games on 1 4k screen. Am wanting to try f355 challenge triple screen arcade version on my oled lg 4k teli
I don't have any experience with this game and would not be able to answer. A quick Google search would indicate that others have done it. So I believe it does look possible.
Forget SRWE and use Borderless Gaming instead. You can set it up the same way but it actually remembers the process and automatically spans the window when ACC is loaded. no more tabbing out.
So when I add the bezel width in ACC from 0 it makes it off and not line up, as this is already done through Nvidia surround so I need to leave it on 0 instead of 8mm. Is this normal, if I set it to 8mm things don't quite line up right.
Being completely transparent my bezel free kit is still in it's box and I have yet to make the video. My understanding is you need to set the bezel figure to negative number and this should compensate for the change with the bezel free kit.
Your angle for the side monitors is 60' but if you don't have that much space in thd room, would you be able to set up side screens narrower (i.e. 70' or 75') and then set the following angles in ACC or that is too much of the angle and it would distort the fov? 🤔
Hi thanks for the comment. I think an angle of 70-75 would he pushing it and might make for an uncomfortable experience. Although I have never tried it. As long as you calculate the FOV correctly it should all be in the correct proportion.
hi , great vid , but for me it wont work. 3 screens working out of game but in game even after enabling triples and settings in view optons , im stuck on single screen. nvidia setup was used. have no idea what to do next.
Really thx for this Video,i try the non Surround version but i have a Problem, i can See the Image on the middle and the right Screen But on left Screen i See the Desktop. maybe you have any solution? I use this Variant because i have a 144hz in the middle and two 75hz Monitors on the Sides and when i activate surround i only can choose 60hz. Only If i lower Resolution to 3....X960 i can choose 75hz. Sorry for my bad english :-) Maybe you know what i mean and you can Help pls? Thx for this Video
You are very welcome. Try offsetting the corrected image in SRWE by -(whatever your horizontal resolution is) to see if that compensates and shifts the image for you. Isn't 60Hz across all of them good? I wouldn't have thought you could have one higher than the other. You are probably limited by yout side monitors.
I have a triple screen setup thats 2560x1080 per monitor. My fourth screen is 1920x1080 - Whenever I change the resolution it doesn't give me the option of 7680x1080, do you know what that is? My game just loads on my middle screen of my triple screen setup.=
Hi Toka, another chap had a similar issue below. I think some have issues with a 4th monitor connected. Have you tried without and the SRWE work around should solve the problem if not. Hope that helps👍🏻
I followed your guide. Love it. I question. Screen width in the in game menu. My screen is a 27 in asus. the screen width is 24 inches, 610 MM. I input that in the in game menu and I am virtually siting on the dashboard. I am guessing I am doing something wrong I just can't figure out what. Also, my eyes are 710 MM from the screen..

@@damiengvideos4337 It seems I spend half my time configuring these things than actually racing them😂 I've got AC working really nicely with triples so I've been meaning to do this one for a while. Hopefully shouldn't be too long.
If I use this simple window runtime editor workaround for triples with acc will it mess up my other windows? I run my triples for iRacing without Nvidia surround. I do video editing etc. so it’s easier to have individual screens as opposed to using Nvidia surround. Cheers
Not sure if you still see these comments but I'm struggling, I seem to lack the sense of speed when I set it up the way you have described, I sit further away then most just because of a desk and my other screens, any advice would be very much appreciated.
I see all 👀 If you have followed correctly that is the true FOV same as if you would get a poor sense of speed if trying to drive from the back seat of a car. You need to reduce your distance to the monitor. Perhaps time to rethink the setup 👍🏻
Do you know of a way to adjust vertical offset in AC/C, now I have a bezel free kit (DIY) AC/C both need this adjustment where AMS2 and rF2 have it but i cant figure it out in Kunos titles.
Even your amazing monitor height for AMS2 would probably be better for ACC as the screens line up in the middle but the top and bottom, the lower part is to high and the upper part is to low on the left and right monitors. Almost like the screens need tk be stretched a few mm upper and lower 🤔
@@TraumaTeamRacing the bezel free kit does do weird things to edges but a combination of vertical offset and the resolution height can accout for that. AMS2 and rF2 can be made to look absolutely perfect, but the AC's have this misalignment.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I always thought the wide blurred image would be more distracting than the thin bezels but in AMS2 and rF2 the bezel free kit is so good, in AC/C it's still good, just not as great . Lucky I mainly play rF2 most.
Following the directions, I get 3 separate screens, but they are all on the center monitor. The left & right monitors show the desktop; all 3 views are on the center monitor. Any ideas?
I would think that measuring the curved width would be the best one to go for as this is the actual pixel width. However I don't have any experience of this I'm afraid. The tricky part would be angle measurement I think and I would suggest measuring from the edge of the monitor to the apex of the curve of the monitor. Hope this helps.
Maybe you have a solution for the problem I have with 3 Monitors-Setup. I've got 4 4k monitors, each 3840x2160 px (all LG, 1 Monitor and 3 TVs - Set to original and just scan). all 4 Monitors are correct shown in Picture-Settings in Windows 11. If I choose one of the 3 TVs in Nvidia-Settings it has the correct resolution of 3840x2160. But if I span all 3 of them to 1 Surround it shows me 12288x2160 instead of 11520x2160 px. So for AC, ACC, or iRacing the setting are wrong an there are missing pixels. For ACC I could improve it, while adapting the menuSettings.json - lastLoadedPresetName resolution to 11520x2160. I wonder, if one could change the correct resolution in Nvidia-Settings. Have you got an idea ? Thank you for your help. Michael - By the way - AC Triple Screen all Ultra 64 fps. ACC, all High, DLSS on 58 to 60 fps. iRacing 84 fps. Not that bad :-)
I'll get my head on it, but a couple of things come to mind. Have you tried just connecting 3 monitors rather than 3. I know AMS2 simply wouldn't work with a 4th display connected. It could also be an issue that they are TVs and not monitors? Does the work around with SRWE solve the problem?
It is now 2024 and I have searched the internet to see if ACC has a sensible Triple Monitor method. This is the best video I can find .... but .... I don't know about SRWE being a massive pain but nVidia surround is an even worse pain. The real pain is that ACC still doesn't have, as far as I have been able to discover, its own Triple Monitor tool. Assetto Corsa has an excellent one and to me it is inexplicable that ACC doesn't. It is enough to stop me ever using ACC and lead me to give it a big thumbs down review on Steam
What is the problem you are experiencing with NVIDIA? I use this as my preferred method and have no issues? The triple monitor setup in ACC I felt was relatively straight forward.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Surround is distorted and on my PC for some reason causes crashes so I abandoned it long ago. I just don't see why if some racing sims have excellent tool for triples others don't so I limit myself to the ones that do. Setting up custom resolutions often freezes my whole PC. Just why should I bother with shenanigans if the developer can't be bothered. I reward the sim developers who bother.
Surround is not distorted as I've demonstrated in the video. However, you must do what is right for you soldier 💪🏻 A shame you can't get it to work as you are missing out on a great sim.
@@TraumaTeamRacing OK if that's the case I apologise. It has always been distorted for me every time I have tried it on various sims. I also would find it a bother switching to surround just for one sim and then back to normal for other sims. I still think the developer is letting their (potential) customers down in this case by not providing an easy method in the sim. (I suspect the marketing people don't care about the small number of triple users). At the moment I just won't buy any further sims that do not include proper triple support. None of this is any reflection on you. You are providing a great service with these videos.
@jJustPlayingNZ No offence taken at all and thank you for the kind words. I'm trying to help as I think you might be doing something wrong. ACC does have proper triple support and should not appear distorted for you if the guide has been followed 🤔
When using surround I'm getting upwards of 100fps. I think this might be a monitor problem. I've heard this happen when monitors don't match. You haven't got the fps limiter on in the options?
Struggling with getting this to work while keeping my forth monitor going above the middle, Nividia surround just disables it entirely, also struggling to use keyboard shortcuts for enabling/disabling surround for quick changing since surround absolutely nukes my resolutions for my open programs. Also since I enables surround the first time windows wont recognize my 4th monitor anymore but nividia control panel does but wont let me enable it
If the monitors are configured correctly in NVIDIA it shouldn't cause a problem. I run a 4th monitor with no issues. I also don't have any issues with resolutions changing and I run surround all the while. I think there is an error in how the monitors are configured in NVIDIA.
@@TraumaTeamRacing My issue was I was using a HDMI input for my forth monitor which nividia didn't like for some reason. Got a DVI adapter an its working like it should. Thank you for such a quick reply! Your video was very helpful in getting me setup
You are very welcome! That is strange though. I use a HDMI input for my fourth monitor and have no issues. Glad you managed to get it all sorted though. NVIDIA can throw some curve balls from time to time 😂
Make sure you have triples enabled. Failing that, this sounds like a hardware issue. Try rolling back your graphics drivers or reinstalling. Hope that helps 👍🏻
@@frietkotten6377 Not being funny, but changing to monitors that match aspect ratio or brands would probably fix it. Can't guarantee. This I appreciate would be very costly.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Nope. Followed the steps to the letter. Finally figured out how to do it, had to set the x axis to 2560 to get it to work rather than zero.
Would love to get a triple monitor setup, but have no space for it, or i need to move my whole rig (aluminium) to an other room. But then my pc will be like 15m+ away :/ I guess i stick with vr for the time being.
VR is great, but if at any point in the future you manage to move to trips it allows a lot more comfort with a trade off for the immersion of VR. VR is still amazing though👌🏻 Can you smash a hole in a wall? 🤔😂
Make sure all monitors are the same spec and all connected via the same cable i.e. display port. Make sure these are all seen and configured in NVIDIA control panel.
This would be a bad idea. Refresh would default to the lowest and you'd be limited by your lowest resolution. Also heard of NVIDIA just not playing nice with setups like this.
I am not familiar with AMD sorry as I don't have an AMD graphics card. If it's their version of NVIDIA surround I would imagine it would give the same result. Although I cannot confirm this as I am unable to test it.
I had to use the entire width of both bezels combined, not just the bezel of one monitor. I tried that and it was way off, then I eyeballed it by aligning things in the sim and came to be twice that number, which is the actual physical gap in between monitors, which doesn't not make sense to me. I came across someone else that had to do the same.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I've measured things multiple times. I'm not inclined to think it's a coincidence the full width in between monitors is the wrong number to punch in. I have 1500R curved monitors if that really messes up the numbers that much.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I didn't adjust bezels in NVIDIA Surround now that I think about it, but is ACC expecting that to have been done or does that matter? I would think there would be no additional adjustments if ACC was counting on that. I am also using fullscreen mode.
I don't understand what's happening with my setup, it's not working. I am trying to use 3 43" Samsung 4k TVs. Does this not work? Nvidia breaks everything when I activate multiscreen and I'm forced to disconnect all monitors and restart with only one screen connected. I have tried CRU to get the resolutions of the screens in Nvidia but that doesn't even show the proper resolutions and will not allow me to add 4k resolution, 3840x2160. I tried SRWE as well and it looks like absolute dog sh!t. I don't know what to do to get multiscreen to work! Why is this so difficult. :(
You are more than likely connecting by HDMI. Sometimes NVIDIA has been known to play up when connecting this way. Getting new monitors is probably not an option but try connecting by display port using a display port adapter.
@@TraumaTeamRacing appreciate the reply! I figured out it was as simple as making sure all three TVs were using the same high quality HDMI cables and the same HDMI to DisplayPort connections. Nvidia Surround works flawlessly now. Feel like a dupe for being caught up with something so easy! 😂

Eyefinity is what I'm looking for. Al 3 screens work now, but the front screen (steering wheel) is on the right screen, obviously undrivable. Can't find a way to change that, lmao, i feel stupid. Now, I now there are other ways to do it, like with Racoon software or similar, but again I'm too stupid to understand Github. I read somewhere that Eyefinity is no good if you use the PC for other things too, but this is a dedicated racing rig. Driving like this is gonna make me blind, I'm sure of it. Spent a lot of cash on this thing so it is disappointting, also I'm a bit sick ang my brain doestn't work wel. Am I doing something stupidly wrong that you specialists know about?
I do have any first hand experience with Eyefinity, however this sounds like you need to set your primary monitor. There is a similar option in NVIDIA surround.
A question I haven't heard anyone talk about with triples... So My main monitor is 144hz and my side 2 are 75hz... So why is that when I span the resolution, I'm capped at 60hz for all 3 monitors?? Its a horrible change for my eyes to go from 144hz back down to 60 again. literally hurting my eyes. If there's any explanation or way to get higher frames please help a brother out its killing me right now lol.
This was using Nvidia Surround.. My main monitor is a different model (Samsung) but my 2 side monitors (Asus) are the same model as each other. I'm lost here at the moment
NVIDIA is creating one giant single image in surround. To display it properly it needs to cap at the lowest compatible frame rate. If it started partitioning the image it would not be surround it would have to start generating independent images for each monitor. Sorry to say but I do not believe there is a work around.
Draw a line from corner to corner and imagine that makes a flat screen. Treat then as a flat screen and then measure your angles like that. Or follow the ROC and then be dictated by the angles created. Personally, was in a similar situation and chose flats for this reason.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Thanks for the reply! That will help me out tremendously! Yeah had an awesome deal on the Odyssey G5's from Samsung so couldn't pass on them. A bit anxious though on how they will turn out when installed.
Have you tried this using SRWE? It sounds very much like it is not recognising them as separate screens and just stretching your image. Do you have a 4th monitor connected? This can also cause issues.
I personally am still on Windows 10 because I like it. I have friends who are on Windows 11 and have no issues. If you figure out a fix please let me know I would be interested to find out. Did you try the SRWE work around?
If you look at the FOV section of the video the angle is determined by the 2 variables: 1) Distance from screen. 2) FOV you wish to achieve. The calculator is linked in the description. It just depends how aggressive you wish to be with it. I like a 180 degree FOV, some would rather 120 etc. In my opinion 180 degrees gives the best immersion as it covers your entire peripheral vision👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing After enough time looking I saw that the angle was being generated. One follow up question real quick, so are the FOV's that are given for each of the games, if I take it from triple to single screen, is that the FOV I need to set in game for games that DO NOT have triple screen support such as ETS2 or older racing titles. Everyone online just shows the same few where they allow you to input the angle and bezel and distance from the screen to get true results but some racing games only have a FOV and that's all. What do I put for those?
If you are using a single screen your hFOV is dictated by your screen size and the distance you sit away from the screen. Using the linked calculator I would use the figure for hFOV. If there is a specific figure for a game try it and see how it feels. I note that the figure generated for hFOV and ETS are the same in the calculator. Hope that helps👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing Thank you for the responses. Following back up on this. So if I calculate my triple screen and then I have an older game (like indy car racing 2) that only go over one screen, is the hFOV I get for one screen the FOV I set in game? This game a couple others that are older titles I am attempting to play, they have FOV values you can change. So do I set this to the hFOV I calculate on the calculator?
Hi mate. I think if you have a single screen game run the calculator just for one screen and use that and it should work. Although I would note whether it is hFOV or vFOV. If you see my latest FORZA Horizon 5 setup that game uses vFOV and can lead to confusion. Let me know how you get on👍🏻
I have an Issue, maybe someone has an Idea: I want to use triple screen, BUT I don't have the same screens. I have a WQHD 34" curved in the middle and a 27" HD Monitor on each side. How can I setup this correctly?
You can't, this would be a nightmare and you'd have to compromise somewhere. The resolution would be limited to 1080p in the first instance. My advice would be to just bite the bullet and buy two more 1080p monitors of the same size second hand to try and see if you like a triple setup.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I have done it. Not the best solution - but it works with SRWE and 6400x1080 pixels :'D Setup 1x 27“ - 1x 34” - 1x 27” My desk area of 160x80cm is now fully utilized :D

Cheers!

Yes I found the same, with bezel correction set in surround, in game bezel should be set to zero. Excellent video regardless.

I use the little program "Display Magician" to quickly enable or disable nVidia Surround.
Nice video. I will try that.
I have never heard of this! I shall have a look at it. You are very welcome. Glad it was useful 👍🏻

You're very welcome👍🏻 I'm running a 3090 GPU and I reckon I get around 100fps but I'll check next time I'm on the sim.
I have 1 question. Which height and distance under the camera settings are correct? I use triple 32” with eye distance of 600mm and angle of 60°.
Thanks for the video! It’s perfect
Hi there,
Glad it helped you👍🏻 Once the perspective is set it is like moving a seat in the car.
Hi there, thank you for the feedback 😊
This is a bit nuanced and I don't think there is one right answer.
Lastly, in a car the windows are flat so I thought that would match flat screens (less scientific I know😅)
However, many enjoy the curved triples. For me, I believed it would have annoyed me.
Hope that helps a little or at least food for thought.
@@TraumaTeamRacing With limited G-sync 32" monitor selection in the market, I decided to give a try for a Samsung G7 curved triple monitor setup. Let you know the result later.

@@MrPatrickfx Measure on top like I did in the video 👍🏻
how did you get the hz working right? mine limits to 60 even tho all of my monitors are 144
Can be a multitude of things.
If your monitors are not all matching this I am pretty sure will be the issue. I've seen a few report this.
@@TraumaTeamRacing is it possible to 144 with a wide screen in the middle? Atm I have an AOC 34 inch 144hz and two Samsung 144hz so I’ve just been very confused

Will this work for a 27x34x27 inch setup? I currently have 1 27 inch and 1 34 inch monitor and thought about getting a 2nd 27 inch for surround

the SRWE isnt very good from what i wasa using it. it wouldn't be centered well and you would see the thottle and brake bars on the right screen with the margin at 1920/1920 in the ingame hud settings. in the end i had to use Custom DSR Tool and bordless gaming tool to get the ideal settings.
SRWE is not ideal and does take a bit of tweaking to get right. Good you managed to get it working. I'll check out the 2 programs you mention👍🏻
any idea if you use a mix of monitors? ie a wide monitor 21:9 in the center and 2 x 16:9 on the left and right. How do you configure this?
Use AMD Eyefinity to span your screens. It is the AMD equivalent to NVIDIA surround. Then follow as per normal. That should be better than SRWE.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out as an alternative👍🏻
Thank you very much! If NVIDIA is not working for you have you tried using the work around with SRWE?

You are very welcome. Try offsetting the corrected image in SRWE by -(whatever your horizontal resolution is) to see if that compensates and shifts the image for you. Isn't 60Hz across all of them good? I wouldn't have thought you could have one higher than the other. You are probably limited by yout side monitors.

I input that in the in game menu and I am virtually siting on the dashboard. I am guessing I am doing something wrong I just can't figure out what. Also, my eyes are 710 MM from the screen..
Make sure all your units are the same. But if you have 27" screens that might be correct for you. With 32" the dash is close.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Went back and double checked the numbers. and they were all correct. at 610CM have zero peripheral vision. I can't even see my mirrors. I went out until I could see the digital dash..
You will have to play with your angles until you're happy. Part of the trade off of smaller monitors I'm afraid. I wouldn't compromise a correct FOV.
Will this method work for the original Assetto Corsa or only Competizione?

Do you know of a way to adjust vertical offset in AC/C, now I have a bezel free kit (DIY) AC/C both need this adjustment where AMS2 and rF2 have it but i cant figure it out in Kunos titles.
Even your amazing monitor height for AMS2 would probably be better for ACC as the screens line up in the middle but the top and bottom, the lower part is to high and the upper part is to low on the left and right monitors. Almost like the screens need tk be stretched a few mm upper and lower 🤔
Are you sure it's not an issue with the way the bezel free kit is set up?
I'll have a look next time I'm on ACC see if I can figure it out👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing the bezel free kit does do weird things to edges but a combination of vertical offset and the resolution height can accout for that. AMS2 and rF2 can be made to look absolutely perfect, but the AC's have this misalignment.
That's a damn shame. The bezel kit always interested me. I'll have a look next time I'm on👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing I always thought the wide blurred image would be more distracting than the thin bezels but in AMS2 and rF2 the bezel free kit is so good, in AC/C it's still good, just not as great . Lucky I mainly play rF2 most.
What does that 36° number mean that is shown as result for ACC in the fov calculator?
Vertical field of view 👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing but you don't have to input this number anywhere in acc right?
@@stevesetsfire Everything you need to input is in the video mate.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I also pointing this out. from what i can underdstans, that FOV calculator in ACC is doing nothing ! Well, i may miss something !
Following the directions, I get 3 separate screens, but they are all on the center monitor. The left & right monitors show the desktop; all 3 views are on the center monitor. Any ideas?
Best guess you haven't set in game resolution correctly. I'd rework all the steps again. You shouldn't have any issues if followed correctly👍🏻
For curved monitor, do you measure the curved width of the monitor or a straight line distance?
I would think that measuring the curved width would be the best one to go for as this is the actual pixel width. However I don't have any experience of this I'm afraid. The tricky part would be angle measurement I think and I would suggest measuring from the edge of the monitor to the apex of the curve of the monitor. Hope this helps.
Do i still measure straight line on top even tho my screen is curved? or do i measure with the curve ?
Hi there 👋🏻 Measure a straight line across the top from corner to corner Nd treat it as a curved👍🏻 Hope that helps.
So having ACC in windowed mode means the Windows Taskbar is always visible. How to fix that ?
F11 🤦🏼♂️
I have surround setup but for some reason the resolution does not show up on ACC, doesn't give me that option
Have you tried changing between full screen/borderless/windowed etc?

The problem using Nvidia surround vs the second option is that in Nvidia surround I can only get 60 FPS. Unless you know how to fix this?
NVIDIA can throw some curve balls from time to time 😂
How do you make a 4th monitor work for an above display for discord etc?
You configure it using NVIDIA surround. Tutorial coming soon 👍🏻
Thank you
You are very welcome👍🏻 Hope you enjoy.
Hi there just followed your settings but its only applied to my middle screen both left and right no signal at all when i open acc
@@DriverUnknown2 Did you watch the whole video or just copy the settings? You should not have any problems.
@@TraumaTeamRacing i followed it all on home it works across the 3 monitors as soon i open acc its only the 1
Make sure you have triples enabled. Failing that, this sounds like a hardware issue. Try rolling back your graphics drivers or reinstalling. Hope that helps 👍🏻
when i use the workround of nvidia my other screens go to like 30 fps or smth while my center one stays at 144.. help how to adjust pls..
Sometimes there are issues with monitor mismatch and differing aspect ratios. NVIDIA doesn't like it.
@@TraumaTeamRacing is there a way i can fix it?
@@frietkotten6377 Not being funny, but changing to monitors that match aspect ratio or brands would probably fix it. Can't guarantee. This I appreciate would be very costly.
@@TraumaTeamRacing oh god yeah it is🤣🤣🤣
Sorry mate 😅
When I boot a settle, Corsa two of my monitors, keep on turning off
@nedasbertulis8482 I can confirm that is not supposed to happen.
Didn't work. Either it shifted the application to one of the side monitors or it expanded it and left gaps above and below
Recheck the tutorial. You must have missed a step, it works 👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing Nope. Followed the steps to the letter. Finally figured out how to do it, had to set the x axis to 2560 to get it to work rather than zero.
Glad you got it sorted out 👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing Cheers. All this stuff would be so much easier if devs would just add proper triple support though 😂
@@MattinhoGG I'd just use NVIDIA surround mate. Makes life a lot easier 😅
VR is still amazing though👌🏻
Can you smash a hole in a wall? 🤔😂
My issue is that its only showing 2 and wont let me check the 3rd monitr
Make sure all monitors are the same spec and all connected via the same cable i.e. display port. Make sure these are all seen and configured in NVIDIA control panel.
What if you are using monitors of different sizes and resolutions?
This would be a bad idea. Refresh would default to the lowest and you'd be limited by your lowest resolution. Also heard of NVIDIA just not playing nice with setups like this.
Wouldn't AMD Eyefinity give the same result as Nvidia Surround?
I am not familiar with AMD sorry as I don't have an AMD graphics card. If it's their version of NVIDIA surround I would imagine it would give the same result. Although I cannot confirm this as I am unable to test it.
@@TraumaTeamRacing it is I use triples on assetto with Amd
I had to use the entire width of both bezels combined, not just the bezel of one monitor. I tried that and it was way off, then I eyeballed it by aligning things in the sim and came to be twice that number, which is the actual physical gap in between monitors, which doesn't not make sense to me. I came across someone else that had to do the same.
@@nVIceman You have definitely gone wrong somewhere 😅
@@TraumaTeamRacing I've measured things multiple times. I'm not inclined to think it's a coincidence the full width in between monitors is the wrong number to punch in. I have 1500R curved monitors if that really messes up the numbers that much.
Have you watched and followed the video in its entirety? If followed exactly you should have no issues.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I didn't adjust bezels in NVIDIA Surround now that I think about it, but is ACC expecting that to have been done or does that matter? I would think there would be no additional adjustments if ACC was counting on that. I am also using fullscreen mode.
@nVIceman If you corrected in NVIDIA, don't adjust in ACC. If you didn't correct in NVIDIA, adjust in ACC 👍🏻

Glad I was able to help you! Sometimes the solution to the most difficult problems stares us in the dace. Good luck on you triple screen adventure buddy💪🏻 Happy racing!
How do you measure the angle of the monitor when you got triple curved?
Draw a line from corner to corner and imagine that makes a flat screen. Treat then as a flat screen and then measure your angles like that.
Or follow the ROC and then be dictated by the angles created.
Personally, was in a similar situation and chose flats for this reason.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Thanks for the reply! That will help me out tremendously! Yeah had an awesome deal on the Odyssey G5's from Samsung so couldn't pass on them. A bit anxious though on how they will turn out when installed.
@@Horneycorn You are most welcome! You will be fine. Triples are amazing. Just don't skip steps and take your time 💪🏻😊
I was worried this was complicated 😂
Hopefully I made it uncomplicated 😅
I still get distortions, on both sides.... dont know what im missing here. My sidemirrors are basically the size of my side screens. Totally wrong.
Have you tried this using SRWE? It sounds very much like it is not recognising them as separate screens and just stretching your image. Do you have a 4th monitor connected? This can also cause issues.
@@TraumaTeamRacing I do have a 4th monitor physically connected to HDMi, but its not activated in setup.
Try disconnecting it completely. Restart the computer and see if that fixes your issue after going through a fresh setup in NVIDIA again.
does this work on windows 11 because i cant get it to work !!
I personally am still on Windows 10 because I like it. I have friends who are on Windows 11 and have no issues. If you figure out a fix please let me know I would be interested to find out. Did you try the SRWE work around?
Isn’t there a calculator for telling you the proper angle between screens?
If you look at the FOV section of the video the angle is determined by the 2 variables:
1) Distance from screen.
Let me know how you get on👍🏻
I have an Issue, maybe someone has an Idea:
I want to use triple screen, BUT I don't have the same screens.
Not the best solution - but it works with SRWE and 6400x1080 pixels :'D
Setup 1x 27“ - 1x 34” - 1x 27”
My desk area of 160x80cm is now fully utilized :D
Still buy those monitors 😉
How to do the same on Content Manager?
Got that video in the pipe line mate. I will bump it up the que 👍🏻
Does it work with two monitors?
You could probably stretch a single monitor image to have something similar to an ultrawide.
well i did your guide but now it looks like i am sitting on the dashboard even with -20 offset further away, also i can not make the angle work i dont have that much space on my desk.
Also i can´t see my whole dashboard nor the inside mirror.
Sounds like you have the wrong camera selected. Cycle through them. It is possible you have changed one of settings I have not adjusted. I would double check everything again👍🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing i only changed stuff as the guide said, i am driving with the fixed cam not the helmet cam
@@TraumaTeamRacing if i turn off tripple screen mode and play around with the fov i can get it looking ok(ish)... but with tripple screen mode on it looks like zoomed in
@@ulrichwieland1738 it sounds like you haven't calculated your FOV correctly.
@@TraumaTeamRacing i did as you said but i think the problem is i sit 1,2 m away from my middle monitor... but i think about getting a vr headset anyways (not just for racing)
