UA-cam randomly recommended me this video, how cool is that :) I see I wasn't alone in my frustration with the lack of ShiftClick. Glad you like the mod :D
In games with chests... I always believe it's necessary to have a mod that allows moving the chest WITH its contents intact. Maybe your character must carry it in hand, maybe it goes into your inventory, idk, don't really care. But, for god's sake, it's such a QoL necessity to simply be able to move full chests. Otherwise, you have to empty your inventory 3+ times just to, say, rotate your chest.
I can agree with you there... you can pick up a locked chest with inventory in it. You should be able to pick up an unlocked full chest as well without it spilling its contents. They should not have one without the other. Otherwise, it makes no sense and seems a bit unfair to have one without the other...
@@davidwilkerson1904 it makes perfect sense, if its a locked chest, you can't just carry your entire base's materials with you at all times because you can't access it. If you can just carry any chest around in your back pack it completely nullifies the inventory management aspect of the sand box. Terraria does it best, piggy banks. but for moving it somewhere else, having it in your hand mandatorily would be nice.
The mod this game needs is auto stack to chests in a radius... and let crafting benches grab resources from chests in a radius... this 1 tile adjacent thing sucks. probably my single only issue with the game
The sort to chest should be a must opening every chest to stack the loot is brutal even in a well orginized storage space . The crafting is not that bad most other games doesnt even have a feature like this , i finished the game on hard they made it better from early acsess with a duble chest for crafting parts you can put 90% of all the material that you ever need in it easily did not had a problem after i made my litle workstation corner 1 in the base for mostly everything 1 at the farm for plants food potions at the farm you need 2 duble chest with the crafting tabels at thier side so they reach eachother for all the material it should be enough.
the door functionality is in the game, it's even fun to build that little electric door automation, so I probably will skip that mod. One thing that I can't play without is the placement mod for farming, which replaces the 1 tile planting of crops (also used something similar for Valheim).
Autodoor mod breaks electric drills (stops them from pulling items through) for many players. Just be aware so, if you notice drills are not working properly, you know the cause.
@@x_data_x do an auto item filter system then it's real easy and you just dump inventory ibnsinde one chest and it goes where you set it up for every block
QOL 3 pack mod works fine, in fact the auto doors mod is littered eith comments about how it breaks things. Want my opinion? Prioritize health bars, and the QOL he showed a pic of at the end saying it breaks. (I use it on my dedicated server, have for weeks and weeks)
Does the cursor mod also affect the range aim crosshair? Thats what i have trouble seeing the most and when i checked the mod (before this video) it didn't seem like it Also, I'd like a mod or directions if its already possible to change the text color - mostly for my small army of animals whose names are really hard to see against the meadowlands 😅
this can sometimes happen when switching between hotbar slots too fast, while holding the torch button (default SHIFT). do you notice your torches seem to swap into what you were pressing?
But most of these 'mods' are features in the vanilla game itself. You can automate doors without mods, it just takes a bit of automation tech to do so. The cursor mod would be helpful if only to help keep from being confused during battles. But the shift-click feature has been there for at least a little while now.
The shift-click you are talking about is the quick move item between chest and your inventory The shift-click mod is for when you press tab to open inventory, you can shift click item to move them between the toolbar (the one with number 1-9 and 0) and your bag
I am shocked with 14k people playing their isn't very many mods for this game... doesn't it have the tools already ? like I am just confused because other games that have less players playing like only 500 have hundreds of mods yet this one only has handful.
@@kentreed9516 thats not the point I am making though... Just about every game out there has 100's of mods... just a odd thing. I did look at the mod maker they gave and I think I found the answer as it mostly only supports mostly script mods and if you wanted to make new items you would have to basically do it from scratch which I don't think people want to really do.
Core Keeper is an amazing game. These mods make it perfect ;)
UA-cam randomly recommended me this video, how cool is that :) I see I wasn't alone in my frustration with the lack of ShiftClick. Glad you like the mod :D
OMG!! Thank you, UA-cam, and thank you for making the game so much better!

core keeper has so much modded potential, just like calamity for terraria you could add so much bosses and new areas, it would be really fun
More mods please :)
qol is very cool also, expend the area crafting station can access a chest and also allow for keybind ctrl+A to unload all your loot to nearby chests
Nice!
Thanks! Glad you like it. :)

I just want one giant chest
Hey. Author of CL QOL here. My mod does what you’re asking for. :)
Terrarias magic storage is the perfect mod

I need to try that one.

oh ok! Thanks
That one for crafting from chests with a little range is great too...
I need that one as well :)
I hope that Core Keeper will get more content mods like Terraria’s Calamity mod
Agreed
I'm with you on Auto door and shift click. Will be installing tonight when I get on
Both great mods!
Core keeper just needs some of the QoL mods
agreed. there are some nice was out there already
The door one and Health bar seems useful since I use a controller...
I'll try the others too if it works
They are both great!
The autodoor mod is a bit weird before the game was updated the fence door also work with this mod but now it doesn't.
Fences could use some auto for sure
"pause while browsing the inventory" will be nice
it's not fun getting one tapped by moldpeople while busy disposing junk items
That would be nice.
All I want for this game, on console, is a one-click trash item shortcut.
Go to settings and bind a key..
Yes please!
@@noanfourno key binding on console

Not sure, there is a config file you can make adjustments.
hey do you know what setting does when you some time swap items on your hotkey because you press number and right click?
this can sometimes happen when switching between hotbar slots too fast, while holding the torch button (default SHIFT). do you notice your torches seem to swap into what you were pressing?
@@sushileafbeats yeah it either torches or when i swap to food on 9 or 0 key
This happens to me all the time. I have slowed my switching ;)
Are you using steam or xbox core keeper?
i am using gamepass pc and my corekeeper mods are not working...
I am using Steam. I read that they are not working on the xbox version :(
Do mods disable steam achievements?
I don’t believe so 🧐
Do mods disable achievements?
The do not :)
omg! that door mod
Why not F for Food though XD
Why not indeed
Retitle to "mods that should be implemented into core keeper"
for sure

Oh, I don't know. I don't have a switch :(
Someone have a mod for ultra wid screen ?
You can search here: mod.io/g/corekeeper 👀

I thought the same thing the first time I loaded the mods. I don't get it either. More MODS!
I think this game is just made so well that you simply don't need a lot of mods. A few mods that are out there just make a great game even greater.

I don't play any game with mods. I just move onto the next game 😅I have so many games to beat
Thats fair
