I think it’s funny some idiots say Manu Ginobili is isn’t hall of fame material.
because they never saw him play. They just read statistics, or they started following the nba 4 years ago. I whatched Manu dominated the best players in the nba countless times. Every time he put a step on the cout the game changes. That is something you don{t see on statistics. You have to see the game.
I don't think anybody would dare to say that. If you beat Team USA in the Olympics, its already decided from there.

Manu is a hugely underrated player. He had the talent and the abilities to be a superstar during his playing years, but he sacrificed for the team, and it got them 4 rings. I won't say prime Manu was equal to prime Kobe, but prime Manu was probably as good or better than prime TMAC, or prime Grant Hill. He was that good.

I also agree. Favorite player of all time for me as well. I have been a fan of his since the first time I saw him play. It was 2000 or 2001. He was playing for Kinder Bologna (an Italian basketball club) in the euro league. He went to the Spurs a year or two later and I have been rooting for them ever since.
I appreciate yall that say Manu is your favorite player.. it tells me alot about yall and it tells me you don't follow the crowd but you follow your heart at what something means to you.. yall are well appreciated and respected by real people..👍🏾

To me, Manu's skill level is actually up there with those guys but his body isn't. Manu can play to a similar level during 20/25 minutes while those 2 can do it the entire game and the entire season. Would Manu be as efficient on per minute stats if he was playing starter minutes? Both his scoring efficiency and his defence would suffer.
We are talking about a guy that was able to eliminate USA with Argentina. But for a whole season I'll take Wade over him, and Kobe shouldn't even be a question. Can't imagine Ginobili winning 2 seasons with just Pau as supporting cast, or scoring 81, etc.
@jocriss nah, individual accolades and ball dominance aside, I would take Manu's plethora of skill and tricks, shooting accuracy, and vision over Kobrick and Robin. Duncan, a legit NBA GOAT that has more say than you ever will, will choose Manu over the MJ wannabes if you ask him not cuz they're buddies, but to all the things Manu brings to the team be it as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd option. Ginobili is the most underrated player by far in basketball history. He is one of top 10 all time best players. He elevated every team he played to championship level. He is a proven winner at every stage of basketball.

easily top 5 shooting guard of all time i kinda wish we got to see him lead a team in the nba as the main guy playing 35-40 minutes a night for a few seasons would have been a spectacle every night hes truly a one of a kind player he would have easily gotten 25-30 points a night leading his teams to a top 4 seed and multiple deep playoff runs with potentially at least 1 championship and finals mvp he cared more about his loyalty to the only team that gave him a chance exchanged personal success and fame for team success

No way Duncan wins the Pistons without Ginobili, and he lost the olimpics when he was on the other side with his same coach, Popovich with the USA.

There’s such nostalgia for me watching Ginobili, Parker and Duncan. My mom got me into watching the Spurs (she was a big David Robinson fan). My first big memory was the finals during Robinson’s last season. After that I followed because we just loved the 3 of them. Class acts. I miss them playing together.

Manu Ginobli was without a doubt a superstar. I personally feel that Manu could have shown his talents more in a weaker team. The spurs were packed with legends like Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, so Manu Ginobli didn't really get much chance to play.
